Dr. Herres was raised in Wellsboro, a rural town in northern Pennsylvania, and attended undergraduate school at Lycoming College in Williamsport. While he was in dental school at Temple University, he was the recipient of the prestigious health professional scholarship program from the United States Navy.

Your first dental appointment will be about getting to know each other. We will discuss your goals and what brought you to our practice, learn about your medical history, and talk to you about your treatment options. You will be given an in-depth comprehensive clinical evaluation. We'll thoroughly review our findings and present a detailed dental treatment plan that makes sense to you and fulfills your dental health needs and esthetic goals. As you can see, this first visit is very thorough. Please allow at least 90 minutes.

Everyone at Dentistry For Life is five stars! The women at the front desk are very kind, efficient and squeezed me in at the last minute to what I'm sure was already a busy schedule, the dental hygienists are all super nice and wonderfully skilled (and asked if I wanted a blanket when I looked cold!), and Dr Votilla is extremely patient, kind, and does beautiful work. I've always had a difficult time relaxing when having dental work done, but this team made it easy.

This is the best dental office I have been to in years. I have suffered with pain for years due to an incorrectly filled cavity and Dr. Harris refilled all of my cavities and I don't have anymore pain. He also was the only dentist to notice I grind my teeth and fit me for a night guard which helped tremendously with my headaches. From the receptionists, to the dental assistants, to the dentists, everyone is so incredibly friendly. I love this dental office! I highly recommend!

I was recommended here about a year ago and every visit has been great! The staff and doctors are very personable and on top of cleanliness. It's a great atmosphere to be in especially when dentists are generally seen in a negative light. Would definitely recommend for anyone wary of dentists due to past experience other places, these guys love what they do and it shows. :

I never thought I'd say I look forward to going to the dentist.but I do! The entire staff is caring, skilled, and I feel as if I have my own "team" working to keep me healthy! I recently went for a 6-month checkup, and was fortunate enough to have Ashley as my dental hygienist. She was both thorough, and amazingly gentle. This practice is wonderful!

From the moment that you walk in the front door, you know you've chosen the right dentist. The offices are bright, clean, and very welcoming. The ladies at the front desk greet you with a welcoming smile and are genuinely eager to help you. The dental hygienists and the dentists are very knowledgable make sure that you understand the entire process. They are also very accommodating to any questions that you have. It was such a positive experience, and as their name implies, they will be my "dentist for life."
