They canceled my appointment because I didn't confirm it and told me I would have to speak to manager to be able to reschedule. I did reschedule previously due to covid illnesses. Lots of dentists out there.their loss.

We originally showed up at the Spring Valley Road location for an emergency dental issue for one of my kids. They were so kind that day and ever since then our whole family is now a patient of theirs. Both of my kids go to the Crown Avenue location for pediatric dental and orthodontist work. All of the staff is kind, respectful, and they are quick and efficient every time!

It doesn't matter if there is an emergency we needed for the braces, they always did their best to get us in ASAP. If you need a good dentist for the entire family, this is it! -Kind -Respectful -Knowledgeable -Efficient -Quick -Minimal wait

I broke a tooth & the tooth was sharp & needed to be seen. All the ladies working the desk & doing xrays & all the other stuff were all very nice. BUT the dentist was very rude. He only spent maybe 3 minutes in the room with me & never came back. He said I needed a crown or root canal done & refused to even hear about just pulling the tooth or file the sharp edge down so it stopped cutting my cheek.

I'm sorry but it is my mouth & my wallet & I ain't got $500-1,000 to pay for a back tooth. It is the patients decision, that is what these dentists have to realize. It is not your choice, it is mine.

My family and I have been coming to smilebuilderz for about 12 years. We've had filings, oral surgeries, orthodontics, periodontist and general cleanings there. I love that all of those offices are offered at the same place instead of a bunch of different places. Everyone working there is extremely professional and truly concerned about all of our dental issues and well being. We even get Happy Birthday emails from them! I recommend smilebuilderz to everyone.

Have gone on and off for years because it's hard to find a dentist that takes my insurance. Was constantly jerked around. Was told none of them do iv sedation by office personal. Non of the dentist ever looked at my chart to see my history or issues I have with jaw. Besides never actually listening to me. They never took anything I said seriously.

This place is really horrible. The employees that work the front desk and phones are especially annoying. They will repeat your personal information out loud for everyone to hear. Your address and phone number have now been revealed to the entire waiting room and staff. The employees in the back are also untrained. They will cut your child's mouth up while changing out brackets etc. The dr even broke my child's tooth while taking off appliance.

I have been going here for 12+ years. i called asking for some help with an insurance approval. the woman who answered the phone was so incredibly rude. she had an attitude and was acting like she knew more about my situation than i did. when she definitely did not. yikes. i will not be returning. this place has gone downhill. just go somewhere else.

Yes, Smilebiuldez office staff deserves a negative star for customer interactions and customer relationships! My husband changed his insurance this year. And I guess his new insurance pays them less than the previous one, but they accept both. We informed Smilebuilderz that he changed the insurance, we provided them with his new insurance. But the office lady on Crown Ave ( Jill) insisted that his old insurance is still active so they will bill it.

I explained to her that if the old one was still active, it was active by mistake, and they need to bill his new insurance. She has not listened to me, repeating that we have to pay our deductible related to his old insurance. Of course, I was right, his old insurance denied their claim. What happened next? They sent 2 letters with the same text to me and my husband (only the name was changed) saying that they don't want us in their practice, because we're being rude. It's ridiculous especially because my husband does not speak English at all. We don't need you, Smilebuilderz!

I have gone here for 12 years and am very disappointed in how I was treated. I have a top partial denture it accidentally fell and got bent I made a appointment to have them fixed as best as possible, the dentist walked in the room with an attitude, told me my dentures where done and needed replaced but followed that up by taking my dentures out of my hand and just started drilling them he made them 5x worse then when I walked in they are sharp don't even fit at all now and feel like I'm chewing on metal, I 100% believe he made them worse intentionally.

I walked out of the office feeling like i wanted to cry i was very hurt and disappointed in how he handled things and treated me. This was their loss though if he would have handled things differently I would have been willing to let them make me a new pair but instead I have found somewhere else that vauls my time and money was more then thrilled to help me out and treat me with respect.

Please do not go here. The doctor did not even do my filling. The woman who worked on my teeth bruised the side of my cheek so badly. I went in because I was concerned about how much pain I was in two days after the procedure and because my family said it's not normal for only a filling (maybe for a tooth canal). First thing she said to me, I believe her name was Candy, "Well I told you not to move during the filling." Wow! Blaming me for the bruise on the side of my cheek.

I walked out with no answers and really believed it was all my fault. A month later, the filling is pointing out so badly I cannot chew on the left side. I know there are people out there who complain all the time, I really am not one of them. I've always been patient and nice, as we are all under a lot of stress due to COVID. I even apologized when she made me feel bad for the bruising like it was my fault. Please please do not go here! Now I am not sure what do to and I'm stuck with a painful tooth that was not in pain to begin with.

I wish a negative star if it was possible! I have been going to smilebuilderz for years and I'm not a 1st-time patient. I have been to the crown Avenue and the spring valley rd location recently for a cleaning and consultation for wisdom teeth removal and I had arrived early for the consultation but in the email, they sent they did not specify which building to go to causing me to have to walk around to 3 different buildings and look like a chicken without a head and it had caused me to arrive 2 minutes late and they told me that my appointment had already be started like what do you mean in 2 minutes you already began my consultation and that my appointment would be over soon and then not only that I would have to reschedule and come back again 2 weeks later like what a waste of my time.

After the consultation, I was told I was allowed to get my teeth removed which did happen smoothly. While going through the check-in process for my wisdom teeth removal I felt rushed and mistreated and that they took no care in doing their jobs I was not a fan of this treatment and after the surgery was no better the minute I opened my eyes had already been checked out theirs no way I recommend going here to anyone they only care about your money and not you.

Not only that but after scheduling an appointment and taking time off my job to attend an appointment I received a last-minute voicemail the night before and it told me they had to reschedule because no there was no one working that day the receptionists scheduled my appointment. Smilebuilderz is an overall bad experience and I don't recommend this dental care place to anyone, their quality of patient care has gone down over the years not only that but the front desk people are just so unfriendly and rude at every location after about 10 years I doubt they are going to improve. this horrible customer service.

So this is my experience so far with using them. The actual dentist and the ladies who see my daughter before the dentist comes in. They are all great. The front desk staff lacks customer service skills to the fullest. It's now been two times where I felt they were very rude. I work as a receptionist at a very busy service center. You would never catch me acting how they act. They don't even engage in friendly convo.

I am at the end of my rope with this company. At the beginning of November, I went in to the urgent care on Spring Valley Road. They said that I needed two teeth removed by an oral surgeon. I explained the amount of pain that I was in and they said that they would do everything to expedite this matter. Only now to get a text telling me that they can't accommodate me. After I have been in agony for a month and a half. If this is how they do business, then they don't deserve any clients.

I love this place. I have 3 kids that have had braces. Dr. Nick and Dr. Faust are amazing! However the reason for 3 stars is we had the WORST dental assistant today. She could at least fake wanting to be there. She seemed more concerned with watching tv then actually paying attention to us. Also she just seemed annoyed with my daughter and first time with rubber bands.

She didn't even really show her then got annoyed at the fact she did it wrong 3 times. Like what do u expect? UGH! Put gloves back on and show her! We left still not knowing if we are right. So disrespectful.

Do not go there unless you want to be neglected and treated poorly. I have never received such horrible treatment. the office is unprofessional and have no idea what the are doing. I was numbed to received an extraction which I medical clearance for. proof from all of my providers. to left there to wait for hours to than be refused treatment. I am going to the better business bureau and charges.

This place has went down hill and it shows. save you and your loved ones a trip and find better care. I wish I could give this place a 0 star. there are so many 0 star ratings I am shocked that this place is even open. SAVE YOUR SELF THE TRIP AND HEADACHE. DO NOT GO THERE.

I wish I could give Smilebuilderz zero stars! Please save yourself, your money, and find another dentist, any dentist. Not only was I a patient here, but my children as well. Recently I've changed providers because they are crooks! White collar criminals! Nickel and dime you for every cent you've got. They recommend root canals to line their pockets.

They told me my kids had cavities that our new dentist said they don't have. Even said, "They do things differently there, I'm not surprised." In the ten years we've gone there, never once did I ever speak to a scheduler that sounded happy on the phone. They always had attitudes, never friendly and provided poor customer service. I've filled out numerous surveys detailing my poor experiences and never once received a follow-up call or email to apologize and or try to resolve the issue.

My last interaction being the worst. My new provider asked for X-rays to be sent over and Smilebuilderz charged me $35, as well as having to wait three weeks for them to be emailed. I requested a supervisor to dispute the fee and was told the fee applied, then not because it was provider to provider, than told again it applied. I was told the office manager, Jim, would call me back and I never received that call.

I called back, left Jim a message and still no call back. I checked with the Department of Health who confirmed that in the state of Pennsylvania, I can only be charged up to $1.60 under 42 Pa. C.S. §§ 6152, 6152.1, yet $35 is what they charge, just because. I ended up filing a complaint with the State Board of Dentistry, which I told Jim in my message I was going to do if he did not call me back.

I called my new provider to ask if this was normal practice and they stated that they had never heard of this before, even from their patients who came from Smilebuilderz. Since I never did receive that call back, I ended up disputing the charge through my credit card company, which I also told Jim I was going to do. Simply put, they do not care about patients, just the all mighty dollar. Leaving them is one of the best decisions I've ever made. I regret not having done it sooner. Criminals. Dr. Skiadias should be ashamed of what his business has turned into.

I've been going to Smilebuilderz for years, but the quality of work isn't like it used to be. Dr Lee at Ephrata office was absolutely horrible. I had a filling done and they ran etching acid all over my teeth on the upper right side and gums. Now my teeth feel like I have plaque on them all the time and my gums are irritated regularly. I would NOT recommend Smilebuilderz to my family, friends, or anyone!

Smilebuilderz is officially canceled in my book. Made an appointment 2 months ago for tomorrow, then they call me last minute saying the receptionist made a mistake while scheduling and that I have to reschedule all my appointments. Mind you is was for my whole family (3 of us) The lady then booked an appointment for My son and I during the morning today, and then My fiance later today.

I get there and My son has his appointment just fine. They finished early so I had to wait 40 min in the car, then when I get called in again I'm told they cant see my because I have my son with me and that I needed xrays. Why would you schedule the appointment knowing it'll just my son and I? And I didnt have anyone to stay with him. For my appointment.

She knew that because I explained to her why it was so important for us to have them at the same time. I wouldn't have this problem to begin with if their receptionist would've never made the mistake and messed up our 3 appointments when we could've took turns with my son So back to when they're telling me that they can't see me, and to try to reschedule for me today at 5, and explained that it's never a guarantee when my fiance gets off work so I don't think imma make it. And now I have to wait a month to be seen my the dentist Ppl

I'm very sad with these dental place, they call me leave a message that there was a inconvenience on information on my dental medical card, I tried calling back several time after I came out from work, sad but true even though I called back and I have spent a few thousand dollars before there now that I have insurance and want to finish what I started with smile builder Ms. Kim is in a rush cancelled my appointment and when on the fone doesn't give me enough time while I'm looking for the information she needs because I just got home I'm in my laptop getting the info she needs.

I told her you know what just cancel everything I have with you guys I will look where to spend my money and find a place where to go where they won't be in a hurry to hang up on me, even though I called her 3 times and 2 time her coworkers couldn't find her and they had to put me on hold 2 times and finish hanging up on me. Sad but true I will make Buisness some where else.

I have been to the Crown Ave. location in Lancaster, PA many times over the years. I can't count the times that I came in and was told that you are running behind. On one occasion after about 20 minutes the receptionist called me to ask if I wanted to reschedule because it would be a longer wait. I figured it had already been about a 20 minute wait so I might as well wait since I've waited that long.

There was another occasion where you guys were running so far behind that I ended up getting back to work late yet I never once grumbled or complained. I just knew I needed to get that tooth fixed asap. Today I got there about 10 minutes late and you tell me you can only do one tooth. I had no idea that they were supposed to be working on that tooth.

Thought it was supposed to be 2 back teeth which by the way one of them is giving me problems. As a physician of any sort aren't you supposed to ask your patients if there are any changes since the last visit? If you would be more care oriented as opposed to let's just get the job done as quickly as possible and just looked inside my mouth without making such an unprofessional call you would have known that if you only had time to fix one tooth today there is more of a need to fix the back tooth immediately.

God didn't give you the ability to do what you do and be as cold as ice in doing it! I do understand that professionalism is being on time too but come on now.don't talk to me about time when on a daily basis you run behind with people's appointments for various reasons of course & maybe some beyond your control. For instance sometimes you may have a patient with a tooth that takes more time than you thought it would or you take someone that has come late.

Either way it causes you to run behind right? But how is that the next person(s) fault. Nonetheless, We just wait! Or is your mindset like oh if they want their dental care today then they'll just have to wait. But of course we wait being though your appointments are sometimes soooooooo spaced out that an individual would have to wait as far out as 4 to 8 weeks to get another appointment. Don't get me wrong.

I am in no way complaining about the quality of your dental work. I think the quality of your dental work is great! I'm just venting because that really ticked me off and I'm quite sure I'm not the only one who has experienced this with you or at least at this location. Like I said before I left your office.one hand washes the other! If people have to wait for you you should be a little more lenient with people! Just know that grace goes a long way! Anyways to God be the glory!

The Sm The Smilebuilders location on Crown Ave is awful. The front desk staff are not friendly at all. The dentists and dental assistance rush you and don't show any concern about your comfort or concerns. I went several times and will never go again.

This is Nate's husband Matt giving a review for the 1st time. So I'm a regular patient with the Smilebuilderz on Rohrerstown Rd. but I had an appt. for today at 6pm at this location because I wanted to be seen ASAP for toothaches I was having. Now I work in Harrisburg, so thankfully I was able to set this up without having to leave work early.

And surprisingly, I even had just enough time to pick up Nate at home in E-town & made it to my appt by 5:45. So far so good. What was not good was the wait, which wasn't explained either. By 6:20, I politely asked the receptionist when I would be seen, especially since I arrived so early (with no paperwork to fill out.) This was also after 2 different patients who both arrived at least 10 minutes after me had been taken back before me.

It wasn't until almost 6:45 that I was finally called back. So I was literally waiting for an hour. I'm happy my teeth x-rays were updated, but I didn't expect the bulk of my evening to be taken up by a dentist visit when I only seem to have a nerve problem in my gums.

Don't even bother going. I wish I could give them a negative star rating. I showed up and once again my appointment had been canceled. I even asked them when I called to make the appointment if they would cancel it if I didn't pick up when they called to confirm, and they told me, "We don't do that anymore". This is now the second time they've done this.

I was just trying to get a root canal fixed (that they had initially done and is now very infected). I'm furious, as my six-week old baby needs to be fed every 2 to 3 hours and I've had to plan my whole day around this appointment. The staff was friendly, but I don't even trust this place anymore. I would only go back if it were the ONLY dentist within 50 miles that took my insurance.

There are like 3 or 4 different smilebuilderz offices in this building. I was just having a cleaning so I went to the one of the left before you go up the stairs. I arrived 30 minutes before my appointment I had a prior appointment or else I never would have went that early. You will not get in early so I will maybe be 5 minutes early next time I go.

They don't have private rooms in this office it just has dividers. I could hear everything that was going on with other patients from what they were suffering from, there height, weight, blood pressure etc. I don't really like that. You have no privacy here whatsoever. If it wasn't for that I would give them 5 stars. They did an excellent job cleaning my teeth.
