The dentist seemed capable but I wondered about his judgment after interacting with his argumentative dental hygienist. Both times I was in and got her, she was gruff and unhappy. The first time I was able to coax her into a somewhat pleasant frame of mind but the second time I wasn't up to the challenge. Here's a business tip: your patients are already hurting - don't make their time even more painful by exposing them to nastiness. The receptionist was a bright spot in two otherwise moody encounters. Maybe she should train the others.

My hygienist was great. He was so friendly and made the cleaning time fly. He was knowledgeable and gave some great tips. I've had some really uncomfortable cleanings in the past where I had to go home to take Tylenol for the mouth soreness but this hygienist gave me a thorough cleaning with close to no discomfort and no soreness left over! I didn't have to wait long in the waiting room and my appointment was right on time. The dentist came in within minutes of my cleaning being finished and was short and to the point but very friendly. Great visit thanks to this excellent hygienist!

Dr. Merchant and his staff has cared for our family over the past two decades. His care for us has been nothing less than superb, , not only friendly and very efficent but Dr. Merchant is very proactive to catch dental issues early to prevent more serious problems in the future. The dentists and hygienists are great; however, the billing for this place has been horrible. Every time I have gone, I have been told I don't owe anything, then receive a huge bill in the mail that takes multiple phone calls to get straightened out. I can understand this happening once, but every time I have gone, I have been incorrectly billed. If it wasn't so close to my work, and have a good dental staff, I would easily go someplace else.
