Burg Pediatric Dentistry

Took my 3 year old for her first visit and we were both nervous. Had a one year old in tow as well but all went smooth. They were very fast and friendly! She is already asking to go back to "get her teeth shined!"

We love Dr. C and your kids will too. The office staff is so nice and they go above and beyond I'm making everyone feel comfortable. Thank you for your kindness!

Burg Children's Dentistry is awesome! The staff are always friendly and professional. They make the experience positive and comfortable for my child. The Dentist's are thorough, knowledgeable and answer any questions. I highly recommend Burg Children's Dentistry.

Dr. C and his staff are great! It was my kids first time of being in the chair at the dentist and they all did a great job making sure the kids were comfortable and relaxed.

We went to Burg on vine today and got the wonderful Suri to help us. She was quick efficient and has a heart of gold! So kind to us. She was nice to explain things to my 11 year old son and put him right to ease! I Highly recommend her work at vine!

My daughter was having a horrible time with dentist work. We came to this dentist and she absolutely loved it. Emily G. was a big help in making my child feel comfortable and assured during the whole process.

I took my son kason there today for the first time. He was pretty nervous but Makayla the dental assistant was so nice. She is the reason we would continue to go there. She made him feel so comfortable and constantly was making sure he was ok. She had such a fun loving personality!

Dental assistant seemed to be in to much of a rush to get us out. Dentist was not at all personable he didnt talk to my child or even seem interested in her. He did her exam and then walked out. First time visit and our last. Only thing i loved was my twins got cute little capes :

Sooooo good! My two year old was nervous at first so they didn't try to push him, just make him comfortable with the whole idea of it, which I really appreciate now as we just had our second visit and he wasn't nervous at all this time! And he's really shy! Can't recommend this place enough.

We LOVE Burg children's dentistry! Dr. Sorensen is our favorite, he's so gentle and friendly. When we left my kids asked when we could go back. The staff is so great, especially with my stubborn 3 year old! She actually cooperated!

We love Dr Sorenson and his assistants's. They do an amazing job with my kids and my kids love coming here. The only reason I gave 4 stars, is because at times the front desk can feel pushy about payment. I totally understand that everyone wants to get paid. I have always paid what they estimate before leaving, but sometimes they have called when more is expected and want me to pay right that second (almost like I've defaulted on a payment and they are a debt collector) when I haven't even received a bill. Other than that, they have been great to work with.

Everyone was so sweet and kind with my little girl. : Definitely a great place to take your kids so they can have a positive experience

I have never been to a dentist that my 11 year old wasn't scared to go to, until we found Burg Dental. She has severe dental anxiety, and I showed her how fun their super hero theme was, on their website. She suddenly became interested in going. Upon arrival, I was so happy to see that the office decor was fun and the staff was the friendliest of any office we had ever been to.

She even got a fun cape! They treated my daughter with gentleness and respect and the utmost care. We are from out of state, but come to Utah every few months. We will be making all of our future appointments at Burg Dental from now on. My daughter left the dentist happy and that hasn't happened once in her life. I recommend Burg Dental 100%.

I took my son to get 6 stubborn teeth extracted and the dentist and the staff made his experience a very good one! The staff made him very comfortable while they worked on him and my son was very happy with the outcome ! Thanks so much!

We are new to this office and took my toddler in for her first dental visit. She was so excited from the moment we walked in. The staff is super friendly! My daughter loved them and easily followed them around. I have young teenagers and we've never had this much fun at a dental visit before. This office is fantastic!

This is the worst dentist ever! I would never take my kids here ever again. My daughter was complaining of a hurt tooth. He basically recommended to cap or cavity fill just about every tooth. My daughter mouth was so sore for so long. and he charged an arm and a leg. He saw her younger sister and could see she had cavities but didn't offer a plan to fix them at all.

Fast forward a year and he's trying to do the same thing with my younger daughter. I decided to go to a different Dr and get a second opinion. The second Dr was upfront and honest in his recommendations and was $1500 cheaper. I have insurance with negotiated rates so this makes nooooo sense why Burg would be more. The other dentist did an amazing job. My daughters mouth was not sore the next day and she had 4 caps and 6 cavities with a tooth that needed to be pulled because of rot.

My son broke a tooth on a Tuesday night. He had been in agony and hadn't slept. I called his dentist, of 5 years, at Planet Tooth in West Valley and he was going on vacation at the end of the week and did not have an appointment available for two weeks. They wouldn't even make the time to at least examine the issue and/or prescribe some antibiotic.

I just couldn't leave him untreated so I called Burg Dentistry. They got me in the same day and treated my son with first class service. Very well organized team with superior service. All of the billing was explained in detail, no surprises. They made my son very happy. He is finally getting some sleep thanks to the super heroes. I would recommend this practice to anyone with kids. If I knew then what I know now I would have gone here from the beginning.

Service and attention was really good. My children were just fine. my children were taken cared in a very nice and careful manner. " Jess" at the front desk was very nice and very polite to my children while I was being explained about the appointment. thank you all of you!

I was on a hunt for a good dentist that my daughter would ACTUALLY feel comfortable going too, (her dental history has somewhat traumatized her from prior dentist) so she has a hard time dealing with going. I switched my daughter to this dentist last year & they have been nothing but AMAZING! The staff is always so friendly & kind & my daughter holds pretty long conversations with them which is incredible to me because it shows she feels highly comfortable around them.

Her dentist is the sweetest & most gentle dentist & she absolutely loves going to him! I don't ever worry about having to take her now because she doesn't give me a hard time going she gets excited! So THANK YOU Burg Children's Dentistry for being able to make my child feel comfortable from the moment we step in to the moment we leave! :)

I absolutely love this dentist office. I have three kids and one of them is very difficult at dentist/doctor offices. and the staff is always so welcoming to them. They have such a fun office and work great with my kids. Stacee, the office manager is always ready for us. We are never an easy case with our insurance issues. I would highly recommend Burg Children's Dentistry to anyone with kids. I won't take my kids anywhere else.

So we LOVE this place. Growing up I hated going to the dentist and had a really terrible experience. Had been to a place like Burgs I would have had a different outlook. The things I love are the fact that they make the kids feel comfortable and it's really fun. They are also very quick at doing the cleaning, good at taking x-rays in kids and reasonable for the price.

They have a TV with a movie playing on the ceiling where the kids lay so they are distracted. Dr. Sorensen is great, although we have seen many of their dentists and they all do a great job. The kids get a prize and a balloon at the end, which my kids always look forward too.

Dental assistant Brianna was great at making our daughter enjoy her visit. She explained everything thoroughly, and was very helpful and friendly. Dr. Sorenson was also great with being honest and knowledgeable about consultation for future braces. Great team!

What does it take to make a toddler love the dentist? How about a super dose of super heroes, a heaping cup of kindest staff ever, and a balloon for the cherry on top? Burg makes taking my 4 year old to the dentist a breeze. Today we had Abby as our dental assistant (or maybe hygienist?) and she was so patient as my daughter had to tell her everything about our family! We love Burg!

The waiting room brightened her spirits, as well as the Receptionist Viv! She was so friendly! River really took to the staff, and atmosphere. And was ready for her examination and treatment with enthusiasm and joy. Brave girl!

The dental assistant, Maron, is fantastic! Rivers new best friend.;. Dr. C is always my favorite. He knows his stuff and exactly how to interact with little kiddos. Smiles all around. Overall I would recommend this pediatric dentist office. There are multiple dentists who work out of each location and every dentist we've seen has been amazing; great with kids, skilled and precise when filling cavities, excellent bedside manners, and available for questions and concerns. I gave a 4 star rating because the techs/assistants are hit and miss.

Some have been absolutely wonderful but others have been mediocre at best. During our last visit we had two techs who were harsh and rushed when cleaning my kids' teeth, and both techs seemed rather annoyed with my 3 year old who was terrified (it was her 2nd visit) and wouldn't open her mouth for a cleaning. (Isn't she the type of patient that employees of a pediatric office are trained for?) That doesn't stop me from being loyal to this office however since the dentists are all top notch.

First time goin in today and I loved the experience! I'm thinking my 2 year old is going to want to go back before 6 months lol! It's a very friendly and kid fun environment! I love how involved the staff allowed my son to be! The only thing I didn't like is there is a shared restroom in the hallway that smelled not so great and probably needed a cleaning! I'm sure not their fault but it was still a little unpleasant other than that I absolutely loved it and so did my son! Hey

My kids were nervous at first but The hygienist was very patient and gave my kids the time they needed to feel comfortable. They ended up loving the visit, x-rays, polish and all. They also LOVED the superhero theme in the office. I would recommend and will be going back!

Not gonna lie. I was skeptical cuz of some of the reviews. I had to write to let others know that they won't regret going here. Dr Sorensen is our go to. He's intelligent, patient, understanding, and kind. My son has had a chipped tooth for 5 years. He hasn't wanted to get it fixed and I didn't push it. He was afraid of the process.

We went in today and he fixed his tooth with some numbing cream. Can't believe we waited so long. My other little guy had to get two fillings and didn't even know he got a shot. Quick, painless, and thorough. I def recommend my family and friends!

We've had the best experience with Burg Children's Dentistry. From the moment we stepped through the door the staff made my kids feel comfortable and excited to be there. Frankie, our dental assistant, was great with the kids and explained everything to them in a way kids would understand. This was my 2 year olds first visit to the dentist and they didnt force her to do anything.

They focused on making her comfortable and acquainted with the dentist which i greatly appreciated. My kids left the dentist with balloons, toys, and toothbrushes. They are already begging to go back!

When we started with this office, I was happy with the service we were getting. Fast forward to now. My child had a chipped tooth and I brought him in. The dentist said that due to the bracket from his braces, he couldn't fix it. I asked if I should have the bracket taken off to fix it, and he told me that it would be fine, they would monitor it through our 6 month checkups.

We came in for our 6 month check up in January, got the all clear. Braces came off this week and I took him in to fix the tooth. They are now telling me my child needs a root canal as the tooth has gotten worse. Very unhappy with the situation and will not be returning to this practice.

I brought my 2 kids in to see Dr Nordfelt today and he was fantastic! He was so patient with both of my kids - especially my 3-year old. She was very hesitant about everything and he helped to make the situation better. I felt confident in his decisions about what steps to take next with their dental plans. He is great! Kylee was the hygienist who helped us today and she was also patient and so kind. She taught my kids how to brush and floss. She was so positive and helpful and helped my kids to feel comfortable there.

We have always had a fabulous experience with all of the office staff, hygienists, and doctors. My kids are happy to go and the dentists are super caring and gentle. If your kids have a reluctance issue with seeing the dentist- this is a fun office and they really cater to the little ones. I'd definitely recommend this office to everyone!

Every time we have an appointment I'm blown away by the team's kindness and patient-centeredness. They also gave us the same tech who cleaned her teeth the first time and she was so kind and patient even though my daughter was having a hard time with molars cutting. Wonderful doctor, and even though I feel pretty on top of her dental hygiene I learn something new every time and we improve our game!; Love this place!

My boys have been going here ever since they have had teeth. The office has friendly staff, they engage with the kids and at the same time are good at keeping appts quick, efficient with their time.

Love this place! They are so great with kids! Brought all four of my kids here at the same time and they were wonderful and handled the craziness with humor and patience. Dr. Sorensen is incredible! I always make appointments with him. He has amazing bedside manner and somehow got my two-year to open her mouth for him! We've been coming here for 10 years and have consistently had great experiences.

My son had a stuffy nose and during the course of his dental visit there was a time when they quit using suction. after a little bit my son felt like he couldn't breath and was trying to sit up. The doctor told him to hold still. I had to tell the doctor to lift up his chair immediately. After that the doctor told me he wouldn't treat my son again without using gas (my son had refused the gas as he said it made him feel sick). We won't be back.

I actually didnt want to even give 1 star but it wouldnt let me post without doing so. I will not be going back to this dentist again! I booked an appointment with them a month in advance scheduled time off work & took my daughter out of school. only to find out that when I arrived that they decided to cancel my appointment because they feel that my daughter should see an oral surgeon instead.

They would have charged me a cancellation fee if I had cancelled anytime shorter than 24 hours but yet my time isn't valuable to them. There are far too many better dentists then to waste my time & money at somewhere so unprofessional & unorganized! Don't believe the hype!

We like the very kid friendly office. The staff is accommodating to their small patients and my little guy likes the balloon, toy, and brushing paraphernalia that he gets to take home.

If I could give negative STARS I would! Beware! Berg pediatrics are not pediatric dentist! Dr berg is the only one but he no longer practices! Dentist are required to go to school another 2 years. The name is deceiving and misleading. If you don't believe me, ask your dentist next time you are there.don't be surprised! We have been patients for years.

I will never take my kids there again. My most recent experience was ridiculous. My daughter needs a couple fillings and possibly a tooth pulled. I called to get her an appointment which took 2 weeks, once I got her in, Dr. Menlove confirmed she needed some work. Here's where things went wrong. The office could not get us back in until JULY 1st!

He also wrote us a prescription for Tylenol w codeine that I'm suppose to refill once a week. He actually thought I was going to keep my kid on a narcotic for almost 2 1/2 months! So stupid! I've done some research and discovered it's not only unethical but illegal for a dentist to not treat a patient in a timely manner! In the meantime, I found an amazing, pediatric dentist and both my girls are thrilled.

All the work they needed has almost been completed and I feel so much better. If anyone needs a recommendation, let me know! Oh and one more thing.the dentist was frustrated when my daughter was crying and told her to shut up.wow!
