On behalf of Dr. Felicia Chu and our entire Celebrating Smiles dental team, we welcome you to our office. We are very excited for you to experience our newly designed green dental office! Our office was designed, constructed and operated following the Leadership in Environmental and Energy Design (LEED) for Commercial Interiors.
Dr. Felicia Chu received her D.D.S. degree from the University of Iowa in 1993, after completing her undergraduate studies at the University of Illinois in Urbana-Champaign. Upon graduation, she completed a general practice residency program at the Dental Clinic of Hines VA Hospital in Hines, IL. This residency enabled her to gain valuable experience working with medically compromised patients, as well as develop the skills necessary to treat a variety of complex cases.Following her residency, she began practicing family dentistry in Elgin.
She brings over fifteen years of dental experience with her. She started her career as a certified dental assistant and fell in love with the field of dentistry. In 2003, she graduated from Rock Valley College with an Associate's Degree in Applied Science and a degree in Dental Hygiene. While working for over eight years as a hygienist, Erann decided to go back to school and attended Northern Illinois University.
At Celebrating Smiles, we believe families are very important. Therefore, it is our priority to give your children a great experience with their dentist right away. Our philosophy is to see your child as soon as their first tooth comes in so the dentist can help ensure a healthy start. This will enable your child to become comfortable with our office and teach the parent how to take care of their child's teeth so they may have a healthy and beautiful smile.

Dr Chu and staff are comprehensive, gentle and thorough. I am actually looking forward to my next cleaning in six months. Never in a million years have I ever thought I would say that. Bar none, Dr Chu is the best dentist I have ever been to. All of the staff at Celebrating Smiles go above and beyond for their clients. Highly recommend.

This dental office is amazing. After my former dentist retired, I was forced, reluctantly, to find a new dentist. Someone had recommended Dr. Chu's practice, so I tried it, and I've been amazed. I didn't realize how out-of-date my previous dentist was until I saw how this practice operated. They have the latest equipment. Among other things, it's fascinating to see my xrays pop up on the digital screen in front of me, immediately. All the staff is kind and efficient, Dr. Chu is compassionate and amazing, and has given me a smile I'm proud of now. I highly recommend Celebrating Smiles!

I find the staff dedicated, extremely competent, and focused on helping me enjoy my time in their care. Their attitudes and skills allow me to feel comfortable and relaxed. While completing the most delicate procedures, they check frequently to assess my comfort and safety. For years I have received outstanding dental care from Celebrate Smiles. Wow!

Best dentist office I have been to. Staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. Erann was very gentle during my procedure and often asked how I was doing. She was friendly and knows how to use all the tools that are available to her. Dr. Chu is excellent! So very kind and knowledgeable. She treats each patient with respect and takes the time to not only get to know them but hear their concerns in regards to the health of their teeth and gums. She explained every step of my procedure which made me feel much more comfortable. Great place!

We love this practice! The entire staff is so friendly and accommodating! My family of 5 has been going to Celebrating Smiles for many years. We never have to wait-their appointments are always on-time. The office is clean and updated. They have made necessary adjustments during the pandemic to ensure the safety of staff and patients. My children have never dreaded coming here unlike how I grew up dreading the dentist.
I appreciate their attention to our dental insurance coverage. I've never had a problem with any surprise charges. Dr. Cathy and Dr. Felicia and their staff are a wonderful team!

It's been a long time since I saw a dentist. I have very sensitive teeth and way too much anxiety! After getting many recommendations for Celebrating Smile, I finally gave it a try. I am beyond thrilled! They were kind, patient and gentle! I got a cavity filled and the fixed 2 areas where my gums were receding plus cleaned 1 side since it was numb already.
They gave me a mouthpiece for the other side so I didn't feel any pain from the instruments, air or water. I'm going back in 2 weeks to get another cavity filled and cleaning the other half. Thank you to the staff at Celebrating Smiles! You are incredible and I feel so much better!

Dr Chu and her entire staff at Celebrating Smiles are amazing! Dr Chu has proven to me that she genuinely cares about her patients and will do what it takes to ensure the best care. Her staff is friendly, helpful and personable. I have observed Dr Chu's treatment of the staff and I can tell she also cares about them. It makes such a difference when you walk into their office and get a friendly greeting each time you visit, especially in times of COVID-19. Celebrating smiles is my dentist for many years. I see Dr Chu and Erin the hygienist and I really like it how to take care of my teeth. Everybody over there are very friendly and caring from the front desk to the rest of the office personal. I absolutely love this office! They never disappoint and I always leave feeling that I got the absolute best care for my teeth. The entire staff is so pleasant and always smiling. I recently have had dental work done at Celebrating Smiles ( by Dr. Kathy). Well, I feel great: Every procedure I have had since coming to Dr. Kathy----the after effects have been near painless. I love the entire Staff; the Staff is cordial, accommodating, professional, and customer friendly. Just think, half the battle getting dental work done is getting there.
