The staff at Smiles by Design are absolutely wonderful. Jessica is the best RDH I've ever had. I can almost fall asleep when she's cleaning my teeth because she's so gentle. And Dr. Stett so kind and nice. I haven't had to have her do any work yet but her exam is always thorough and she takes time to answer questions. I never feel rushed. I highly recommend this practice.

This group of dentists and their assistants are the most wonderful people I have ever been to. From the time you walk into their office till the time you leave, they are polite, friendly and helpful. Dr. Stets has given me the most beautiful smile, and her work is outstanding. Thank you Dr. Stets, I'll be smiling from ear to ear forever.

I had been going to Aspen for a over a year and had some really horrible experiences with them. After my last visit to Aspen, which was awful, I decided it was time to find a new dentist. I contacted Smiles by Design via their website and received a call from Andrea the next day. Just that conversation alone convinced me that I chosen the right place.

My 1st appointment with them was better than I could have imagined. The entire staff was so caring and empathetic. They listened to my concerns and helped me figure out what to do next. Switching to Smiles by Design was once of the best decisions I've ever made.

They do a thorough intake exam (photos and x rays of every tooth) and then you meet with the dentist to discuss what she (this is a women-owned practice) sees and shares a proposed treatment plan, including pricing. The staff is very friendly. The team ensures you are comfortable by explaining what they're about to do, offering cocoa butter for your lips and providing sunglasses to wear during treatment. I highly recommend this practice even though I do end up paying out of pocket because they aren't in network with my insurance.

I always feel at ease and trust the entire care team at Smiles By Design. This is the reason I continue to drive an hour for my regular cleanings/checkups. Since selecting them to take over my dental healthcare several years ago, I have not had any more "surprises" that I had previously experienced. I recommend Dr. Dunn and her entire office to anyone looking for excellent preventative care and friendly service. It is possible to look forward to your next visit!

I had deep cleaning on my teeth recently and within 1 month bleeding and pain returned. I have had this specific procedure in the past with great results but not this time. The staff are polite and helpful but unfortunately didn't make up for poor results after the procedure

Great dental practice, easy to make an appointment, text reminders, on time, clean and bright office, good dental hygienist and good dentist. And most importantly, NO upselling : Very pleasant first-time visit, exam, and consultation with Dr. Dunn. She is knowledgable, amiable and very professional. Felt comfortable overall and the space is quite soothing and clean. Easy, convenient free parking in the lot in the back--their entrance is not on the street side but right off the back directly adjacent to the parking lot. Thank you again for making the entire experience enjoyable!

Extraordinary Work and professionalism. I knew I wanted my teeth fixed for a long time, but having your front teeth done can be tricky and you want to make sure you have the right team to make them look great. Smiles by design was friendly, welcoming, professional, the whole package. When I saw even just my temps for the first time I cried from happiness. I feel so good about my teeth for the first time in almost 20 years. Thank you for everything, highly recommend this office for cosmetic work.

I am so thankful I found this office when I did! I had just about given up hope of ever finding a good dentist. And on top of that, a whole team of staff members that truly care and are kind! It's just so rare nowadays. I have extreme anxiety going to the dentist and they made my appointment easy to get through and really spent their time with me.

Dr. Dunn took care of my dental emergency in April 2020. She saw me for surgery immediately, despite COVID-19 restrictions and observing all protocols, and she did a superb job as painlessly as possible. Outstanding practice.

As a former dentist-phob, I can say that my fears vanish when I visit Dr. Dunn and her staff at Smiles by Design. She is highly professional and instills a great deal of trust by explaining every step of a procedure, which makes it a much more relaxed experience. Her staff is outstanding, as well. Shelly is so kind and efficient at the front desk, always doing her best to make sure appointments are scheduled at a convenient time and insurance forms are submitted without a hitch. Sally is an amazing dental hygienist.

She takes her time to make sure the patient is comfortable and gets a thorough cleaning every time. Keisha is the best dental assistant I have ever had the pleasure of having assist Dr. Dunn. She is so caring (need a blanket? you've got it! need sunglasses to protect your eyes from the glaring light? you've got it!). Aside from her professional and kind demeanor, Keisha is also extremely precise when it comes to making sure that crowns are polished and perfect - honestly, I am so impressed with everything and everyone at Smiles by Design. I would never go elsewhere! I recommended Smiles by Design to others and will continue to do so. What can I say? I'm a fan.

Had an emergency. While on a trip I chipped my tooth and needed to be seen asap. I called the clinic at 4pm and the very next day was seems by the Doctor at 8am. It was easy, practically effortless. And the are super close to Maplewood Inn in Liverpool. Plenty of parking. There are several entrances into the building. Look for West wing. It's the side of Buckley Rd.

I've been to this dental office for cleanings, fillings, and to get invisalign. Both the hygenists and dentist (I had Dr. Stets) are gentle and concerned that you are comfortable throughout the appointment. It actually feels more like a spa than a dental office (they have blankets if your legs get cold, sunglasses if that industrial dentist's light is too much in your eyes, and vitamin e for your lips)!

They also do not rush you out of the office like many doctors tend to do: when you are in the room their time is yours until you are satisfied. I've never needed repeat work from them either- they are very thorough from the start. Cannot recommend this office highly enough!

Smiles by Design has been my choice for dentistry for about 8 years. The office is sparkling clean, and features all the latest high tech equipment. I have had some crowns made. Dr. Dunn takes extreme care in matching the crown color to the surrounding teeth. I am most grateful to Smiles by Design for resolving my sleep apnea issue. I chose to have a dental appliance made, and it has made a positive impact on the quality, and quantity of restorative sleep.

In all procedures - right down to a tiny filling - the steps were carefully explained. Any x-rays were justified; special care was taken to place the thyroid protective collar in the correct spot without me prompting to do so. The staff exudes an active interest in education. I have learned much about the 'new' threat of oral cancers, safe and effective products for oral health, and sleep apnea treatment alternatives.

Two perks that I especially like are that any follow-up appointments can be made on the computer in the treatment room, and the goody bags given after a cleaning are wonderful. Their nonintrusive email, text, or phone reminders are handy. The entire staff -including the ladies who handle appointments, insurance, and billing- are consummate professionals. I highly recommend Smiles by Design. If you live out-of-town, their excellence is more than worth the trip.
