Your first visit is especially important to us. The initial periodontal and/or implant evaluation consists of periodontal probing to determine bone levels of all the teeth and evaluation of the area where a dental implant or implants may be indicated. This thorough examination enables us to assess your individual needs and address any questions that you may have.

Dental implants are a permanent and appealing solution to replace missing or extracted teeth. They are better than other alternatives like bridges because no additional teeth need to be altered to place the new tooth. The entire implant process is performed over the course of a few months. The first part of the process is to install the implant itself, where a screw is placed into the jaw bone.
When decay occurs below the gumline, it may be necessary to remove a small amount of bone and gum tissue. Your dentist may ask for this procedure before he or she makes a new crown for your tooth. Crown Lengthening procedures are done for both restorative dentistry and/or to improve the esthetics of your gum line.

Facility was neat and clean.and all inside the office wore masks. but one woman wore her mask below her nose. The procedure that I had required numbing and the whole process was easily tolerated. Any invasive dental or gum procedure comes with some discomfort and my discomfort was minimal. I will return for further procedures, if needed.

Pearland Periodontics and Dental Implants is more than amazing, the staff is extremely professional knowledgeable, friendly and patient. Every question I've had they answered every time I've called they return my call within a 24 hour period, and they explain things in detail. I could not of asked for a more pleasant experience as I have a true fear of dentist.
