On entering the facility I was warmly and professionally greeted with a very warm hello. No long wait time. As I was taken back to the exam area and as i was passing other busy employees they also greeted me with the "We care about our patients" attitude in their greeting as well. Great Job Accent Dental Group! You are a model for many. Your services were great.

I went there today for regular exam and cleaning. The exam was done appropriately and efficiently but I did not get the regular cleaning. They told me that some of me teeth need deep cleaning but for most of my teeth, a regular cleaning should be sufficient. My insurance only covers regular cleaning not the deep cleaning. They should had done the regular cleaning during my visit today and let me decide the deep cleaning.
What they had showed me today is they only care about money not what I need and what my insurance will cover. I would not recommend this dentist to anyone and I am going to find a better dentist.

My husband is bedridden but needed to see the dentist. We have both been patients for years. But he hasn't been in because of his health issues. When I called, to explain the need, I was told that I could get a traveling dentist to treat him at home, or if I could get him there, they would see him. I hired a wheelchair transport van to take him to the dentist. He was seen, and resolved his problem. All of the staff that helped me with his physical limitations were very patient and kind.

Dr Smith of Pearland Accent has been my dentist for 19 years. He is an outstanding dentist with whom I've entrusted with my dental care. His technical and administrative staffs are friendly, professional and highly efficient. I'm retired now but when I was still working and assigned to varies cities on long term details, I'd fly home to have Dr Smith handle my dental work. He has put in and replaced bridges plus performed other routine repairs. I have to drive1 hour one way just to get to his office, which I gladly do.

I always receive excellent care at Accent Dental. I have been a long time patient of Dr. Smith. However, my regular Hygienist was no longer there for this appointment and I was not forewarned of this prior to my appointment. I believe communication is a key element when you are serving the public in any capacity. In my case, an agency hygienist was there to clean my teeth.
I was Not ok with this, being that the Covid numbers are back up and this hygienist is traveling all over Houston to different offices making it difficult to track her contacts in the event of Covid exposure. I feel there was a lack of any type of communication in this case and profit was more important than my safety/concern or feelings. Shame on you Accent Dental

I went there for my first appointment a year ago and was told my visit would be about an hour. Two hours later I was still waiting. I was told that never happened and they are always right on time. Fast forward, my daughter went there and again 2.5 hours and a bill for 3k if she were to get what they said needed done. My son went there (covered on my insurance) and spent 2 hours.
The first person came in after 30 minutes after arrival and took xrays. 30 min later someone came and counted his teeth. 30 minutes later someone came in and said it would be $600 for a cleaning and $600 to fill one cavity. I have never paid more than $300 for a cavity. When I called to discuss it the lady was very rude and said someone will call me back. No one ever did. We are filling a complaint with the insurance company and getting a new dentist

If there was a Zero rating, I would issue it here. Only after being over charged for unnecessary procedures did I investigate this guys standing with the Texas State Dental Board. Public info and disciplinary actions had been taken to include being fined for guess what.same crap. Then, I go view NextDoor App and guess what the neighbors are saying? Same song. I took my family of 5 and our teeth elsewhere.

I started with Accent years ago, after not seeing a dentist for over 10 years. I needed two crowns and better dental health. The crown work was very good. I've seen them every six months since then and my dental health is much, much better. They manage to achieve both efficiency and positive friendly staff.

I've been a long time patient of Accent Dental. They're always professional, courteous and take care if you quickly but not rushed. I had an old old crown break and went in to get it replaced. I was blown away with their new technology that made a perfect crown. If you need a dentist give them a try. You won't be disappointed.

I strictly go to this office for the spa services. I'm always able to get in with Dr Smith. He is charming and kind with small talk. We get to the point right away about what results I want to see from my visit that day. I like that he does not waste my time. My time is very valuable to me. His staff is kind. My favorite is Ashley but she is out on maternity leave. The office is clean. Everyone is warm and friendly but not fake. I give them 5 stars.

Cannot speak HIGHLY ENOUGH about Dr. Smith and his staff at Accent Dental! From the immaculate facility to the friendly and highly professional staff to Dr. Smith's obvious precision expertise and dental knowledge to his use of the latest, state-of-the-art technology, Accent Dental rocks! In fact, the word "rocks" is also literal and accurate because Dr. Smith seems to prefer better music than the drab, boring musak you get in some dental offices (or the horrible bubble gum pop music you get in others). It's not overbearing music at Accent, since he doesn't blast it, but it's cool classic rock that I personally enjoy.
Most important though is the the fact that I've had root canals, partials, and now implants at Accent and the experience is and has been great every time. Aside from the pain of necessary shots you'll get from any dentist on the planet, Dr. Smith's work is essentially painless! He's also fast! But that speed is not at the cost of precision and quality; he just really knows his stuff! I also get regular cleanings and Magna is fantastic as well!

Fantastic staff. That's the best part. The receptionist is always friendly and greets you with a smile. The hygienist is spectacular. I've got some age related dental issues and am also on a tight budget. The hygienist takes care of my teeth every six months and does a fantastic job. I've never been a fan of visiting the dentist but this place not only makes it bearable but dare I say even pleasant. Can't imagine going anywhere else now.

Went to see Dr Smith about cracked tooth for my husband. We have great dental coverage with Aetna and 0 copay for office visits, cleanings, X-rays and evaluations. This even includes palative care at 0 copay. When my husband checked out they charged him $5 for a "routine office visit" and gave him a treatment plan that was close to $2000. She told him our insurance was a discount plan, not a copay plan.
I called Aetna on Monday and they said our plan was not a discount plan and the rep called Accent and explained that and also that they needed to refund the $5 as we do not pay for office visits. Period. So I get a claim in the mail where they billed insurance for $5 under an "unspecified adjunctive procedure" which is not a code in the system, therefore making it our responsibility.
I have on paper from them that this was a routine office visit charge. So basically they committed insurance fraud in my opinion. Some might say well it's only $5 but it's my $5. I'm writing this as Aetna try's to explain to them again that we do not have a copay. I do not recommend dealing with them at all. Will update if they make it right.

Let this letter serve as a strong recommendation for Accent Dental Group, at 6915 Broadway Pearland St, TX as your next Dentist. I am one of many regular happy long-term patients who has been going to Accent Dental Group for the last 8 years. They have an excellent staff of dentists who are extremely familiar with all the latest in computer-based dental technology and they used much of it in the office.
They are a painless dentist, which is one of the things that made Accent Dental Group so popular. I would strongly recommend Accent Dental Group as your dentist and I am certain that you will find other patients who feel the same way.

Came here on a recommendation from a friend for a second opinion from a different dentist office who told me I had 9 cavities. The staff was extremely friendly and quick. They listened to my horror story from the last place, and took their time to thoroughly check my teeth, review the x-rays, and review the listed filling recommendations from the last dentist.
And guess what, not only do I not have 9 cavities, i have 0 cavities. The other dentist was lying, trying to make money off of me and my insurance. I'm glad I trusted my gut and got the second opinion. I'll be back in May for my regular cleaning!

I came here as a first time patient because of their Saturday hours. They did an exam and told me my teeth and gums were diseased and needed over $2,000 in treatment. I told them to go ahead with a regular cleaning and I would consider the extra work and the dentist told me she would "lose her license" if she did anything without the expensive treatments.
I went back to my regular dentist who said my teeth were fine and my gums looked better than my last visit. If they try to charge you for anything more than a basic cleaning I would get a second opinion. Pushing customers into unnecessary procedures seems to be common practice here.
