Dr. Maddox took care of a dislodged crown the same day it happened. He fit me in his schedule so I was able to have it re cemented for Christmas Eve dinner. He and his staff are great!

After our dentist closed her office abruptly without any notice to her patients, I thankfully was referred to Dr. Maddox. The hygienist Joey was so friendly and she put me immediately at ease upon arrival. Dr. Maddox then gave me a thorough exam and found areas that my former dentist had missed. I am so grateful to him for having an eagle eye and being able to fix these problems before any real issues set in. (Who wants tooth pain?) My husband and I have been seeing Dr. Maddox for over 25 years. We would highly recommend to anyone who is looking for a very professional dentist who is also a perfectionist in any of the many procedures he has done for us in the past. Dr. Maddox is so gentle that my husband actually fell asleep while doing a root canal procedure! Sorry to spill the tea, but nobody "loves" the dentist. Sorry Dr. Maddox. I said it; Thankfully your team is of the elite and makes the experience worth it. Your staff is beyond carrying and ready to assist you. Dr. Maddox is also one not to suggest a service "just because" or push for a procedure that isn't needed. He works with you on your needs, offers options, and meets you where you are at.

Most importantly, Shelli is my girl! My teeth are super sensitive and 6 month cleanings are the worst. Shelli has worked with me each time to help ensure my comfort and ensure I receive proper care. Each time she checks in on my kids, life and general matters with sincerity. I joke that she can NEVER quit or retire because she is the ONLY person who can clean my teeth with care and believed me when I said I would jump out of the chair due to my sensitive teeth. Now I go in prepared with a plan in place and Shelli gets the job done! Why are you still reading this? Book your appointment already!

Dr. Maddox and staff treated my mom and her caregiver very compassionately and and got her in immediately for her toothache. I would recommend them to my friends at any time they need a caring and professional dentist. Kudos!

As one of the top experts nationally in his field I was rather confident as a new patient in the dental assessment performed by Dr. Maddox. I moved from my usual dentist in Irvine because I could never get an appointment or call back or a cleaning at my previous dentist and everything was always rushed. I received a fast appointment just 24 hours after calling and a follow up visit for the next week. The office hygiene was excellent also with PPE and safety protocols for all staff. In addition the modern technology and photography used was very helpful in discussing the treatments and was unambiguous to me as a patient. The service was more than 5 stars. I've been going to Dr. Maddox for probably 30 years now. Him and his dental hygienist's are great. Always very professional and they do great work. I have confidence that my teeth are getting the best care they can get.

What a relief! After suffering for days with shifting sinus and tooth pain I called Dr. Maddox's office and my Internist's office too. I opted to pick-up the medication from my local pharmacy that the Internist prescribed. However the next day the Rx that my Internist prescribed wasn't working as I quickly as I had expected. I called Dr. Maddox's office again.

They got me right in that same day. Mouth radiographs revealed a decayed molar extending into the pulp. Dr. Maddox with an assist from Ms. Wonderful Fear-Free Monica performed a root canal. Once finished with the procedure I immediately felt so much better. The associated sinus pain was gone.

I go every 6 months to get a cleaning from Liz who does an excellent job. She is very meticulous and we discuss any new dental improvements that I can make. The front office staff is always very nice & I get in promptly every time. Dr Maddox is a perfectionist when it comes to teeth & always reminds me of what I could do for a better smile. I highly recommend this office

I found Dr Maddox online and went for a consultation. I was pleasantly surprised at how friendly the staff and reception was. I met with Dr. Maddox and he was friendly, listened to my concerns and wants and he came up with a plan that worked for me. One of the best dentist I've ever been to. I have been going to Dr. Maddox for about 4 years. I have had a lot of work done (crowns and replacing old fillings). I think he is very great. And, I highly recommend him. I was originally referred to him by a Dental Hygienist who had worked for him previously. She said he was by far the best Dentist she had ever worked for. And, she said that she and her entire family still go to him.

That referral meant a lot to me. Then, when I get there, I discovered that his staff is also pretty awesome. I interacted with Gaby, his right hand Employee who makes certain that each patient is taken care of very well. She has been working with Dr Maddox for over 17 years! The fact that an excellent Employee stays with him for 17 years also speaks extremely well about him! I am 62. I have never liked going to the Dentist. But, I like going to Dr. Maddox!

I've been seeing Dr. Maddox for years, now. He is hands down the best dentist I've ever seen (and I've seen some great dentists). He's friendly, interested in his patients, and incredibly skilled. The first time I saw him my teeth looked awful. A foolish stint as a youth smoking cigarettes had left discoloration all over. One visit with Dr. Maddox and my teeth were white and looking brand new. I still have people ask me how I keep my teeth so white. I can't recommend this place enough.

I recently had my six month appointment during COVID. The team takes all the preventive protocols. I had to complete a form stating any possible exposure or symptoms, take my temperature and wear a mask up until sitting in the chair. They always take good care of me.

Dr Maddox and the hygienist Shelli are so great! I came in with my teething hurting and they helped me figure out what might be causing it. They are also detailed, and efficient with the teeth cleanings. 10/10!

I was referred to Dr. Maddox by a complete stranger who saw my 2 front chipped teeth and asked when I was going to fix them. I had talked with various dentists who didn't give me a good outlook on my teeth. I had an initial consultation with him where he explained what he thought he could do, which is basically rebuild my entire mouth over a few appointments.

My 2nd appointment (first was a cleaning) I was in the dentist chair for a little over 5 hours.and the results are honestly night & day. The best part is, my teeth look completely natural. They don't look fake, they look like my natural teeth. Thank you Dr. Maddox, you have a customer for life.

What an amazing dentist and staff! Where to start. First off, I never thought I would love smiling this much! Dr. Maddox has a level of expertise and eye for symmetry that I have yet to find in a dentist. I chose this dentist for my Invisalign and I'm SO glad I did. I was a particularly difficult case due to my odd jawline. Dr. Maddox was able to address my case so that my teeth were not only straight, but straight for my face!

Before finding Dr Maddox, I considered my mouth a lost cause! I felt embarrassed to even go to the dentist. This office changed ALL of that. His entire staff are so kind and welcoming and his level of care is unmatched. Thank you for all you have done!

This was my first appointment with Dr. Maddox and I was so impressed. The entire staff was professional and absolutely wonderful! Given the circumstances, they were very careful and took my temperature when I came in. They wore masks and gloves and made sure I had a sanitized pen to use when filling out my forms. I had a lot of issues with insurance and they were so helpful and patient.

I was completely unaware of what was required and they helped me through the whole process until we were able to figure it out. They saved me a lot of time and effort so I wouldn't have to deal with the insurance company afterwards. Elizabeth was my dental hygienist and she was so sweet and easy to talk to. She was gentle, but very thorough and made the time fly by. Everyone on this staff was so warm, knowledgeable, and professional. I'm planning on coming here from now on!

The only quality thing here are the hygienists which did a superb job and they were the only reason for coming back. Once their done, you'll will undoubtedly get hard sold by Mr. Maddox on numerous things every single time. He's never even consistent on what he's always pushing down your throat. One month it might be braces, another month whitening, and another month on fillings etc.

I compare stories with my friends I recommended here and they have the exact same story-high pressure, cheeseball sales tactics. I was a sucker and fell for fillings for two of my teeth ONLY due to the fact that my insurance would cover most of it and my portion would be "insignificant" which of course, the front desk ladies were so certain about.

Once I arrive for my 10am appointment I had to sit in the dental chair for 50min before being seen by Mr. Maddox. The kicker was he was running late because once again, he was hard selling the lady that was right next to me the entire time. Lo and behold, the bill comes in and my portion is almost 4 times the price of what they originally quoted. I understand that a quote is an estimate-but 4 times the estimate is outrageous.

So I had the pleasure of speaking with passive aggressive Terry who rudely denied that I was being overcharged and kept trying to talk over me until I presented the original quote they gave me months back. Finally my bill gets reduced to only 50% more than the original price I was quoted. Sure enough, Terry shifts the blame to her associate Kelly and how she's been making internal mistakes lately blah blah blah- just like a shady unprofessional business would do.

If you unfortunately stumble in this place, be prepared to either say no a million times on a bunch of procedures, or let them take you to the cleaners for all your worth. Classic example of bait and switch.
