A mouthguard is a comfortable piece of athletic gear that fits over your teeth and can help protect your smile as well as your lips, tongue, face, and jaw. New research indicates that mouthguards can even reduce the severity of concussions. A nightguard is a custom-made acrylic mouthpiece that is worn to protect the teeth from grinding (bruxing) or clenching, mostly occurring during sleep. Many people clench and/or grind their teeth and may not even know it. Some people do this every night, and some only do this occasionally.
Restorative dentistry serves to restore teeth that may have been damaged through common oral health problems or more serious dental issues. Bridges are used to fill in the gaps left by missing teeth and are anchored in place by the natural teeth or crowns nearest the empty space.

Dr. Hatzidakis is committed to get patient's welfare. She only wants to see perfect results, as demonstrated by when she took impressions for dental work that didn't measure up and redid the work to ensure a perfect impression for a new crown. I was equally pleased at how meticulous and involved she was in the process. Her approach and demeanor are gentle and supportive.

Governors Park Dental is a small town, family-feel dentist office that I am so grateful to have found in tucked away in Capitol Hill in a beautiful, historical mansion. It was just a couple of blocks from our previous home and after moving away we still choose to commute to it from another area of town because we have been so happy with the service. Dr Drescher is kind, honest and efficient and does a great job.
I referred my husband to him and he advised him on a major tooth issue to have done elsewhere (needed to be done with an oral surgeon) and gave us options and his honest opinion. It's difficult to find a new dentist that you trust so take our word for it and visit Governors Park Dental!

Appointment started on time, they were efficient and knowledgeable. I have an injury that I've struggled with at times and they were the first dentist office in a while to suggest treatment options when it gets bad (jaw pain, suggested massage or acupuncture). Being able to walk there is really nice, not sure what the parking situation is though if you drive.

Governor's Park Dental has been a godsend! I struggle with periodontal disease and had a fear of going to the dentist for the past few years due to gum pain, the pandemic, and other bad dental experiences in the past. Gov's Park formulated a treatment plan for me and got all of my urgent dental issues taken care of without lots of pain over the course of a few months so I am back on track with the care of my gums and teeth. They are communicative about scheduling and insurance information as well. Thank you all so much!
