If you are considering having dentistry done it is critical to know that your dentist has taken the time to get well trained. The simple fact is dental school only teaches dentists the foundation and from there they need to systematically and constantly continue their education and training to be able to understand and utilize the modern materials and techniques available. When you meet your dentist, it is fair to ask about his or her training and Continuing Education. As a matter of fact, it is your obligation!
Below you will find answers to many questions about our office information. If you have further questions, please call us at (423) 247-2151 or email us at guestdentistry@gmail.com. Excellent experience! I haven't been to a dentist in YEARS and I had first seen Dr. Megan Guest who was really nice and patient with me. Dr Cheston Guest took great care and concern of my back tooth problem because I had let it go for awhile unfortunately. All the staff from reception to Taylor the dental assistant and Patricia were very welcoming, professional, and compassion!

My husband and I went here for a year. He had a debridement done and several fillings. We just switched to a new dental office because they don't care about their patients here anymore. They used to be the best dental office around. I went here 20 years ago and Charlie did excellent work and took pride in it. Now his daughter Meghan does most of the dental work and the change in professionalism is drastic.
They have huge TVs in every room, and they all watch TV while working on your teeth. To the point that the hygenist had to tell the assistant that she wasn't holding the light over his filling to harden it because she was so engrossed in watching the TV instead of paying attention to what she was doing on his teeth. They also do not use enough numbing agent.
I have never had any issues with being numb enough to not have pain during dental work, but they had to stop and re-numb me during a filling and it still hurt even after that. He said it hurt every time they worked on his teeth even after they numbed him several times. Meghan also has long nails and my husbands gums were bruised and bleeding after a filling because she pushed her nails into his gums so hard.
He would tell them he was hurting everytime and they would just tell him it was almost done. We just started with a new dentist and he had to have another debridement AND 2 of his fillings have fell out. All of this is unacceptable. It has been less than a year since he had this work done and now have to pay again to have the same work redone because Dr. Guest's office did not do proper dental work.
I wish we had never gone to their office. They don't care if they hurt you or not, and they would rather watch TV, than pay attention to what they are supposed to be doing. Dental work is expensive and it should not EVER hurt. Do yourself a favor and go to an office where they actually care about their patients comfort and care about the quality of their work.
I am extremely disappointed because I was expecting the same professionalism they used to have. I told my husband they were the best dental office in the area, only to have them hurt him everytime he went, and do very poor work. They should take the TVs out of the rooms and focus on the job you are paying them to do!

10/10. Met these folks for the first time today on a less than pleasant reason. I had a tooth break yesterday and needed some help. Got me in on a cancellation spot. They were all so nice. Very straight forward with me about what I needed to have done and we got a plan in motion. Super nice. Great work. CLEAN office. Dr. Meaghan Guest and Lindsay were superior.
