Dr Short is an amazing professional with years of experience and success.

I enjoyed my braces experience here. Dr. Short was always thorough and has a good "bedside manner." His staff has always been kind and friendly.

Many of these positive reviews are so obviously done by his staff, I had seen 1 of them in the office writing it as my daughter checked in. No one truly talks like that. She didnt realize I had peeked over and saw her as clear as day because of the angle she was sitting. So heres the real scoop, Dr. Short is an Egomanic, I over heard him brag on the phone he had bought the newest top Mercedes sedan going, so he needs to up his patient load the next few weeks. Dr. Short, barely sees patients for longer than 10 min, ,h as his staff do most of the work, cleanings, fitting braces, etc.

His office staff are not an impressive or friendly bunch. My over all opinion is Dr Short is Old school, not made aware of newer better braces, or techniques. I truly feel Dr Short is not an impressive Orthodontist, but truly over rated, extremely Overly Priced, has terrible patient skills, and a real Pompous, Money hungry want to be Business man.

Do not waste your money and time.seeing him. Most of the positive reviews I can guarantee were lies, because He does NOT work with Anyone unless 75%of the Money is in his hands, and is actually pretty rude guy. He obviously went into practice to make $$ not caring about his patients, for he lacks the true genuine care and concern a real Orthodontist has.

Dr. Steven Short is by far the worst orthodontist I have ever met, I was 10 when he was treating me, I am currently 27. I always felt uncomfortable going into the office the staff excluding the receptionist was very rude and seemed to be annoyed everytime it was time to treat me, I had been wearing my braces for 4 years and got one of my gums infected from them dropping glue inbetween my gum and tooth, they did nothing for me, around that time I remember my mom was going through an ugly divorce, and it was becoming difficult for her to pay for every appt, so she would put off appts until she could pay, until one day she came into his office crying and explaining her situation trying to adjust the payment plan, and he was very cold, instead that day he removed my braces and gave me some type of mouth gaurd. the way he treated my mother and I was by far the worst, I would never recommend someone like him to anyone, not even my dog. And the fact that this happend 17 years ago tells me nothing has changed about him of his staff. SMH if I could give him -stars I would.

Professional and happy staff says a lot in itself. Dr. short has a wealth of experience and explains things simply and clearly with a pleasant personality.

Dr. Short is the best doctor! He will work with you. His staff is awesome too. Super friendly and very helpful! Highly recommended.

Dr. Short is the best! His staff is top notch and very courteous and kind! He is very knowledgeable about orthodontics and takes his time with each patient and more importantly the parent of the patient! I highly recommend Dr. Short for all of your orthodontic needs!

Dr. Short and staff are awesome - I have two tweens, one in a retainer and the other in braces. His prices are reasonable. My daughter has had two issues with her brace wire and the staff always is on hand to help, even after hours.

I went to 2 other Orthodontic consultations before seeing Dr. Short. And Dr. Short was the only one who felt it was not necessary to extract teeth and said that I was an Invisalign candidate! His prices were competitive and I just knew going with a doctor with his experience and knowledge was the right choice! I was able to start with some records the same day as my complimentary consultation and the assistant was so knowledgeable and friendly as well. I would highly recommend choosing Dr. Short to all my family and friends!

I would not recommend going to this office at all! The office staff is nice only when your new or a potential client then your treated like cattle. They were bragging about being a multi million dollar practice. ( why would you tell customer that) I was set up with braces after 2 years my teeth were still not perfectly straight, they then said ill be a perfect candidate for invisline to do final tweaks for another 2500! Mind you I spent thousands on crappy braces! I recommend you shop around. They are good at having you sign the dotted line! After that forget it.

I set up an appointment, did a complimentary evaluation, met up with the Finance support lady (she's cool) and just like that I was on my way to a better smile. The staff are friendly, too. They have complimentary coffee, tea, and other stuff. When you come for an appointment, you're acknowledged and never shunned as a no one. Don't be afraid to ask questions, the Doc's all about helping you out.
