I love Dr. Goodis and Dr. Weiner and I always followed their advise for me and for my kids without questioning! Sadly I paid the price! Dr. Goodis asked Dr. Satlin if he can make my front teeth gum match each other's by cutting one of them since one was a little deeper than the other! He said of course and after I paid $600 he cut too much of the gum and now they still do not match but I am $600 poorer and they are worse than before!

Not only that! Since he cut it too deep now food gets stuck in it and people always tell me to clean it! Also since he cut it too deep, my tooth is over sensitive! So, I do not recommend Dr. Satlin at all!

I used to get good work before the pandemic. I'm looking for another dentist. If you need a tooth implant, this is not the place. Save money and aggravation and look for a specialist. Dr Statlin does not appear competent. After a bone graft, and a bit of money wasted, , he referred me to another surgeon for another bone graft and more money. The staff is rude and don't care. I have only good things to say about Terry, the hygienist. She is awesome.

As much as one could possibly enjoy going to the dentist, I always have a pleasant experience when I'm there. The facility is very clean and the staff is friendly and professional. I must commend the hygienist that always does my cleanings. She is a gem! She has got to be the happiest most friendly human I've ever met! She even gives positive feedback on my brushing/flossing which makes me feel great, and who couldn't use a little positivity right now in their life.

She is such a genuine person and I hope you tell her that often because decency is hard to come by these days. I look forward to seeing her again in 6 months for my next cleaning!

Lakewood Dental Arts has a culture of patient care & excellence that, like DNA, permeates everything! You'll see it in every detail! Every associate is highly trained and inclined to educate. Each extends a warm hospitality. Be sure to read the many framed thank you cards on the wall - it will touch your heart! I was impressed by the family who moved to Texas, but still returns to Lakewood Dental Arts regularly for their dental care.

I have to say, I DO NOT like to go to the dentist! I have had only bad experiences since my childhood dentist retired. I was like 20. Had several since and they have all thrown their hands up and said "I can't do anything else". What that meant is, I cannot numb you anymore. If this still hurts you, I cannot help. 3 different dentist have done this.

Finally decided to go to the dentist my husband goes to, Lakewood Dental Arts, Lakewood, CA. Long story, a little shorter, needed a specialist, needed gum surgery (deeper cleaning) and I was promised " you will not feel anything, when I start". I'm like, we'll see. Nobody could ever numb me enough. Darn if he wasn't correct! After he numbed me, he went to work and I didn't feel any pain!

I have the right side to do next week Nd I'm actually looking forward to getting my teeth taken care of! 5 stars just isn't enough. Everyone there is just as nice as can be! I have to give a shout out to Alma who helped me with my insurance and Dr Satlin, hes the specialist. You cannot go wrong with him. AND, they checked in on me the very next day!

I am a new patient and haven't quite learned the names of everyone. Everyone there is so kind and pleasant. The dentist and assistants explain as they perform the procedure. I didn't even feel the usual pinch of the needle for numbing. I really appreciate the immediate return calls I get and being updated of cancellations to come in earlier than scheduled. I recently moved to La Puente and as of now I will stay with Lakewood Dental Arts :

I really don't want to give one star. My past experience was a nightmare. I had a cracked tooth. I was told that the tooth could be saved. I was in pain. The dentist pulled half the tooth out so I left the dentist with half a tooth. I was referred to a root canal specialist because they had no available appointments. Now keep in mind i'm in pain. You would think they would make special arrangements for this type of situation.

So i go to the specialist and have the root canal done. I Go back to this place to have a crown done the whole drilling and all. The dentist placed the temporary crown on. Then he tells me that the tooth cannot be saved and it would have to be pulled. After all of the money spent and pain and suffering just for the tooth to be pulled. If I would have been told that it was a possibility that the tooth could not be saved.

I would have weighed my options and went with a different procedure. Receptionist Staff is cool. But the so called skilled and license dentists stay far away. I dealt with two of them my opinion for both is the same. Give your money to someone who cares and is professional not these jerks.

This dental office have the friendliest staff. I had my implant done by Dr. Satlin. It went very well and no problem at all. Am in my mid 80's and I appreciated the doctor for calling and checking on me the night after the procedure. Thanks to all.

I am 84 years old and I have had many bad experiences with dentists in the past so I was extremely nervous because of those past experiences. This staff was very caring and helpful and assured me they would take good care of me. The actual Dental surgeon who performed the surgery took the time to explain what needed to be done. I told her that I included her in my prayers that morning and she replied that she had asked God for guidance and to watch over both of us also. I really appreciated those comforting words and I wouldn't hesitate to come back if needed in the future.

Lakewood Dental Arts is the best place to go for all your dental care needs. Trust me. I've always been afraid of the dentist - I mean, who isn't? Because of that, I had some pretty bad dental work done thinking I was saving money. Turns out I was wrong. Since beginning my treatment plans at LDA, I've never been happier, felt safer or trusted anyone more. Every step has been phenomenal. My daughters are also patients and I ever got my mom to see Dr. B! You won't be disappointed!
