Rosecrans Dental was bought by a different owner. Now it's all different doctors, receptionist, and material. Got a cavity fill here in February and had to go back 3 times since because " I don't know how to take care of them properly". Where as with the previous cavity fills with the previous dentist would last for years and still have them. Also, I was never notified that my dentists was leaving, the previous staff was let go, or about the changes.
When asked what happen I was told I should mind my own business by one of the front desk workers. Before if I had to pay out of pocket I didn't care because I knew I was getting good service, but now it's not even worth even paying for a cleaning.

I WAS ASSIGNED (AN APPROVAL FRO MY DENTAL PROVIDER) TO YOUR DENTAL OFFICE AFTER DUE TO COVID, I HAD NOT SEEN A DENTIST FOR A VERY LONG TIME. WENT IN FOR MY FIRST TREATMENT OF A TEETH CLEANING, I STATED I WOULD RETURN FOR MY NEXT QUAD CLEANING WHICH WOULD HAVE BEEN IN TWO WEEKS, AN OFFICE STAFF MELISSA STATED SHE WOULD GIVE ME A CALL THE NEXT WEEK FOR MY CONTINUED TREATMENT, THAT NEVER HAPPENED, I CALLED TO FIND OUT WHY I DID NOT GET A CALL SHE STATED THAT SHE HAD BEEN OFF AND SHE HAD FORGOT AND WOULD GIVE ME A CALL LATER, SHE ALSO STATED THAT SHE KNEW I WOULD BE UPSET, OF COURSE I WAS UPSET.
I CALLED BACK AS ASKED FOR THE MANAGER, THAT MANAGER STATED TO ME THAT MY INSURANCE HAD BEEN CANCELED, WELL I KNEW THAT WAS NOT CORRECT AS I HAD JUST SPOKEN WIITH THEM, COME TO FIND OUT INSTEAD OF THEM ASKING ME FOR MY INS CARD THEY GOOGLED THE INFORMAITON AND GOT THE INSURANCE COMPANY INCORRECT. THE OFFICE STAFF I WAS INFORMED WAS NEW THE PREVIOUS STAFF WAS RIGHT ON TOP OF THINGS. i WILL NEVER GO BACK TO THEM AGAIN

One dentist, I believe Dr. Tran is great. Love his work. There was another dentist here before that I enjoyed going to, in fact he was the only reason I kept coming here. I should have left when he did. The main receptionist, Jazmine I believe, is nice and always pleasant. One of the billing persons has attitude, not very pleasant, I can go on about the disparaging looks they constantly throw my way.
I also have time and time again asked for care with certain problems and they would disregard my request. There were minor cavities I asked to have taken care of and they would instead choose to work on other problem areas and then those areas would worsen because of the lack of care. One time I was told by the dentist that they wanted to "save me money" by not doing work on a tooth that would only remedy for a few years and instead say they would rather have me replace the tooth.
They constantly have insisted on certain procedures that I know need work, but choose to ignore small problems that turn worse over time. I have had two infections this past year that caused swelling to my face and both times was told that they would rather schedule another appointment for me so that they can give me an estimate of the work I needed, even though I was there asking for a procedure.
I had to practically demand a tooth extraction to remedy some extreme discomfort I was experiencing because they wanted me to come back at another date without doing anything other than a visual examination. I was in excruciating pain, but after 2 days my swelling and the pain went away after I demanded the tooth extraction. This was when the billing person again chose to aggressively state I would have to pay "such and such" for the procedure as if the notion of having to perform something I requested was beneath them.
I was under the impression that my dental insurance was covered for this location but upon review, this place is not covered. Made perfect sense as to why I was constantly being billed for things I knew I was supposed to pay less. I would have expected them to at least inform me that this place was not under my insurance, instead of constantly throwing astoundingly large billing estimates.
I also asked multiple times to get a breakdown of the payment plan for previous work and it took over 3 months to finally get the breakdown estimate. I am glad to finally leave this place. They dental hygienist/assistants vary, some are ok but others are very rough. They choke you with the aspirator and they jab you in various places when they remove saliva, they focus on one area and you are stuck there choking on saliva from a different salivary gland.
If they don't like their job, they shouldn't take it out on the patient. We didn't force them into the career choice. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. I also have a cousin that got braces here when she was younger, as well as a neighbor, and they both have said negative things about this location. One of the main ones, being the incredulous cost.
My aunt also had some of my cousins come for work here in the past and they eventually left after some time because the cost to work benefit is not worth it. Only reason I came here was the location convenience. But it is no longer worth the pain or cost.

Would not recommend this place. They ignore requests and focus on what the "plan" they have created for you and act as if any deviation would destroy the plan. Ignore minor things that need work and some of the staff is rude. Some are good but very rough. Multiple times in the past, the dentist chose to not do work on a certain tooth because it would only "temporarily remedy" a solution and would require more work down the line. Then, the tooth in question worsened.
I was given a bridge that was holding on to an extremely cracked molar. Knowing this, they chose to proceed with the procedure. Down the line, the molar could not sustain the constant pressure from the bridge and broke. Now I have a bridge that I cannot use. Billing lady has labeled me male on my prescription "on accident" on more than one occasion even though I am obviously a big breasted woman. Could be slight error but if it happens more than once, it makes you wonder.

I would NOT recommend coming here if you have kids. They told me I had to wait outside the building while my kids gets a cleaning and x ray. I used to go a pediatric dentist on woodruff called children's happy teeth and I loved them! They never told me to wait outside the building, and did the same procedures. The ONLY reason I came here was because my husbands job assigned us this place.
Mind you my kids are only four and three. I didn't even go through with the appointment because who the hell leaves their kids alone with a stranger especially with pedophiles out there. I have trust issues I'm sorry, I'm that mom. If I can't be there and see what's going on with my babies they will not be seen.

Total rip off! My first visit February claimed I had cavities and needed a deep cleaning that came out to $730! Insane I have damn good teeth and never have been told that. I over hear the dr being a bully with the next patient next to me that he needs this and that and the amount like wow. I refused and just wanted my regular teeth cleaning that he finally gave in to give me.
Now 8 months later with a new dentist he tells me I'm farrrrrrr from needing a deep teeth cleaning and have no cavities! Wow I'm glad I knew my stuff and had a second opinion. If something doesn't seem right don't go along with it because people just want to take advantage of new patients.

Having a receptionist that acts like they want your business would go a long way. I am just as underwhelmed as I was 10+ years ago when I was briefly a patient there for crowns and the 'trainee' who was removing them turned the plaster mold of my teeth over and attempted to remove the upper crowns instead of the lower that were to be replaced. Crowns that did not last BTW, . Ill mannered staff, ill trained staff and cheap materials at a price too high to justify. My current dentist is my old dentist 77 miles away and it is worth the drive.

This place is ABSOLUTELY the worst dentist I've ever gone to. I would go to Smile Care Dentist before ever going back to this place. I went in on the 29th of April gave them my card and the receptionist asked did I have the white card they couldn't accept the card I gave them and showed me a med-i-cal card and asked if I had that card I told them I have Blue Shield.
Next they took x-rays and said they couldn't pull the teeth I needed an oral surgeon and Blue Shield would sent me the referral after waiting almost a month Blue Shield said no Rosecrans Dental would do that. I called them and I literally had an argument with 2 people about who was suppose to give me the referral. Bad service and even worst customer service. YES I'm changing dentist!

This dental group has rude receptionist and a terrible customer service attitude. I called to find out how long it would be until I could get an appointment, I told the receptionist that I was going to switch to this office and that I had an emergency. She told me I could get an appointment the next day. I called my insurance and switched to this office, and when I called to make an appointment, I was told that they wouldn't see me until after August 1st, even though my insurance company had made my effective date 07/01/2013.
Even though I am eligible, and the insurance would pay claims, she told me it is their policy not to accept patients whose insurance company has back dated the effective date, even though, I am fully eligible for benefits with their office back dated to 07/01/2013. Then, the receptionist, hung up on me. RUDE SERVICE and irresponsible policies. THIS DENTAL OFFICE CAN NOT BE TRUSTED. Do not see this dentist, I highly advise against it.
