Oh my gosh! Why did I avoid the dentist for so long?! Dr. Justin and Whitney are literal earth angels! My filling/crown was done SO fast and they are incredibly gentle and compassionate. What a team! No longer afraid of the dentist! Sala Dentistry has changed the game!

My wife had dental work done. We paid half the bill, $1800. They left a big bruise on my wife's cheek. She was scheduled for final work tomorrow and to pay the 2nd half. She got a call and Sala dentist said they forgot to bill us another $2000 for the bridge! Total BS! A ripoff!

Unfortunately, this office doesn't stand for what they claim. Actions don't match their mantra. Listen carefully to their verbiage when they go over cost of the treatment that the doctor wants to do. Tricky tricky tricky. Beautiful office, but there is definitely something off and uncomfortable about this office.

They are open on Saturdays and have an amazing staff. They got me right in and fixed me right up. Did telemedicine call when I got infected tooth so I didn't have to take off work for prescription. Great dental center

Kassie is the best! She is so gentle, caring, and fun to see. The office is calm and relaxing, I never have worries for upcoming appointments. Veronica at the front desk was so welcoming. The best place for your dental needs!

Everyone from the dentists to Anna B my sweet and caring hygienist, to Jason who takes my money at the end of my visit has been kind, sincere and extremely helpful with all of my dental needs. Due to being full time in our RV for the last four years traveling around America and Covid it had been a long time since my last cleaning and this I needed a deep cleaning due to considerable tartar buildup below my gum lines. My hygienist, Destenee was very good and performed a quick and very efficient job of cleaning and I had very little pain once the anesthetic numbing cleared. I was very impressed with all the employees I had contact with. If you in need of a new dental service, I would highly recommend Sala Family Dentistry.

I enjoyed my experience at the Sala Family Dentistry today. Dr. Josh is wonderful he is careful, friendly and kind. I'm impressed at how he explains each procedure and makes sure that I'm comfortable. Ann the dental assistant was great! She has a wonderful sense of humor, and works well along side Dr. Josh.

The crew here at SALA dentistry is top notch! Very professional, polite and the care is unmatched! Dr. Jordan & Serena made me feel completely comfortable during my visit. I am a new patient and it was my first visit but they made me feel like I had been going there for years. They both had a very calm and professional demeanor. Usually going to the dentist can be an unpleasant experience, but not with these two.

I love Sala Family Dentistry. I have been going there for several years now. I feel very well cared for there. They have helped me take better care of my teeth, and my teeth and gums have been steadily improving under their care. Everybody in the office is friendly, cheerful, and welcoming. I have seen several different hygienists over my time there, and they have all been great.

Recently I have been seeing Destinee and she is amazing. She somehow remembers everything about me between visits and is friendly and great to talk to. She also takes good care of my teeth and answers all of my questions. She is really good at explaining everything to me. I would recommend this practice to anyone looking for a dentist.

I love Dr. Justin! I've had the worst experiences with dentist before and he has completely changed my perspective of dentistry. He was so patient, encouraging and kept my best interest the whole time. The rest of the staff Monica, Whitney and Shawna were welcoming, warm and just kind. I actually look forward to coming back to continue my dental journey.

Sala Family Dentistry is wonderful. My dentist Dr. Josh is so thorough, professional and caring. My hygienist Kandice is the best. Her care of my teeth and gums is phenomenal. After the appointment, Jason efficiently explains my bill and processes my payment. These three people are so friendly and treat me like family.

They have a good service but there's a catch. They charge more than other dentists do. Ripped off!

We've tried a few pediatric dentists in town, but I can say confidently that we'll be sticking with them for the long run. They schedule ample time for the visit, let the kids hold the tools and explain what they're doing, and are able to adjust to make the kids more comfortable. The tvs on the ceiling for the kids help too Leslie was our hygienist this past visit and I can't believe she was able to clean my kids teeth so easily. Dr. Ryan is always friendly and very knowledgeable - he fully explained an issue that come up and I left with ideas on how to help my kid. I trust their team.

My recent visit here was so fun, yes. FUN. I was in for a regular six month cleaning and Lisa, the hygienist, was friendly, professional and courteous to the point where I was completely comfortable and relaxed to get through this appointment smoothly and with ease. I've had many cleanings here over the years and they all went fine, but this most recent visit with Lisa was definitely a relaxing time.

She was proficient yet didn't give me any feelings that I was being rushed. She did a great cleaning and showed that Sala Family Dentistry truly upholds caring and kindness to their patients. In my half-century-plus life, I've seen many dentist offices and here is where I know I can trust them with my care. Ten stars out of five, from me!

I was helped by Dr. Jordan and Serena. Both lovely people with such calm demeanors. I would recommend any person with anxiety over dental visits to see these two. They gave me the perfect amount of information and tailored my visit to my preferences. It's obvious they are knowledgeable, kind, and caring. I've never had such a great time at the dentist!

This business was great for a year until they sent a letter saying I was no longer allowed to continue my treatment with them. I am assuming this is on the basis of my medication for anxiety and depression, aka "mental illness." The letter sent had no reason for dismissal and I called twice to find out what had happened? I had done nothing to incite this decision.

I call this business out as discriminatory against the Americans with Disabilities Act and pure ignorance. 1/3 of Americans will have some sort of "mental" problem sometime in their life and 1/5 Americans have some problem at any given time. 3% of which have been shown to be dangerous. This bias and discrimination is a trend since the beginning of COVID-19 and that is no excuse to deny medical access to people under any type of discrimination. Very poor ethics in this business and I do not recommend this business after having this experience

I love this practice! Everyone is so friendly and knowledgeable. I feel very welcomed and important- I feel my concerns are discussed with out a rushed feeling, and that I am respected and "heard". I can't say enough about how happy I am. Thank you.

I absolutely cannot give a good enough review for this place. They are all wonderful! I have been taken care of so well. I called with pain and they got me in the same day and they have done everything to cater to my needs. I would absolutely refer them to any family. They're timely, kind, compassionate, understanding, and every single staff member has seemed to go out of there way to make me feel comfortable and provided for. Shady dentist. Wanted my partner to get way more work than was necessary. Avoid this place.

Easily the greatest Dentists of all time. The whole team is great, from the receptionist to the dentist and everyone in between. If it were not because of the masks I'm sure you would only see smiling faces looking back at you. They make scheduling an appointment easy and they always work with you to make procedures painless. Judgment free zone! I've been coming here for years and I have never been judged on missing a cleaning or looked down upon for having a cavity. Make sure you ask for Van as your dental hygienist, she is literally the best.

Sleezy dentist. 3 minor cavities of course all require root canals and crowns. Went to another dentist who after doing X-rays suggested simple fillings. $500 compared to $12000 Do not go to this dentist.

Three days before Thanksgiving I chipped my front tooth while biting my nails! (I don't recommend doing that).And what was even worse was that I was in Reno visiting from out of state. With very little time to fix my tooth before Thanksgiving I reached out to Sala dental to see if I could book a last minute appointment. Not only was I able to book an appointment THREE DAYS BEFORE THANKSGIVING, but my overall experience with this dental office was incredible. Dr. Josh and his team made me feel at home, and as people were heading out of the office for the holiday break, he and his team took the time to pay attention to me and wanted to help me right away.

And to top it all off, a member of the insurance team at Sala dental came into the room and told me what my insurance was going to cover. THAT WAS INCREDIBLE! Everyone in that office wanted to help me and before I knew it I was in and out of there with enough time for turkey dinner. I HIGHLY recommend Sala Dental. These people are genuine and care about you and your needs, and most importantly they will save you from the embarrassment of having to smile with a chipped tooth during Thanksgiving pictures. It's a bummer I don't live in Reno, I don't know how anyone is going to top my experience at Sala Dental Office.

Hands down the best dental experience of my life. My hygienist Cassie was friendly and made the whole thing great. As pain free as it gets and made me want to actually schedule a follow up.

I was really excited to go to Sala because I've heard great things about their practice. Sala has a 48 hour cancellation policy and charges a $100 rescheduling fee if you have to reschedule within the 48 hours leading up to your appointment. I scheduled a cleaning recently and they called me less than 24 hours prior to my appointment to tell me that they need dental records from my previous dentist.

This was an impossible request as my previous dentist lives in a different city and doesn't have digital records--only film. My options were to pay $110 for new x-rays or $100 to reschedule because Sala didn't extend the same 48+ hour courtesy to me as they expect from their patients. Unfortunately, this means I'll have to find a new dentist.

This was my establishing patient appointment. I'm sad I have never been at this office before. So happy and excited to be a patient here. Megan is so kind, caring, thorough, and friendly assessing my teeth and meeting my cleaning needs. Dr. Kristina is very friendly, personable, very knowledgeable, and thorough of her analysis of my visit. Jason is so kind, friendly, and took the time to explain my treatment plan, scheduling appointments, and makes you feel right at home. Love the small town Reno connections! Will recommend this office to everyone!

The staff here was wonderful! I needed to get in for an emergency due to severe tooth pain. I was able to be seen that very morning I called! The staff was amazing and comforted me while experiencing a painful tooth ache. I was seen and provided care instantly! Now I have an established dentistry. I Would highly recommended them!

My experience at Sala Family Dental has been nothing but amazing! They really do go above and beyond making your dental experience so easy and phenomenal. They have such great staff including Dr. Jason, Gabby, Megan, Monica and Veronica. I highly recommend Sala Dental!

Sala family dentistry is already an amazing office and team in itself but assistant Heather and Dr. Justin make an even better team. Both of them work as one by knowing what each other needs to do in order to make the patient safe, happy, and healthy. If I ever have a problem I am with no doubt choosing Sala Family Dentistry for my dental needs and hoping that I get Heather and Dr. Justin.

I was overcharged for $64 on my first visit. On my second visit I was told I had a credit.but on my second visit I was charged $99 on my debit, for a $49 bill. I would've apppreicated a call to let me know about the credit and also given the option to apply it to my next visit or offered to send a refund. I really questioned things was when a broke of floss broke off in my tooth after getting a filling and I had to use a magnifying mirror and a light to pull it out with tweezers.

My first visit was just a cleaning and exam with x-rays, etc. I had advanced treatment but was not told the price of this. Sticker shock when I went to check out and it was $600, after insurance. So this was overpriced for shoddy work.

To be brief, because I could talk about this practice over the course of a dissertation, Dr. Justin and his supporting clerical/clinical staff are phenomenal. I've worked extensively with Whitney, Jessica, and Jason and I must say that they really are Dr. Justin's "A" team. Every appointment I've had with them has been met with a compassionate professionalism. Which, working in medicine myself, I find very refreshing and reassuring when receiving any type of health care.

Their office space is clean, modern, and constructed in a way that comfortably supports high patient volumes. I continuously reference this practice to my friends and family for all of their dental care. I could not see myself going to any other dental practice in town!

Going to the dentist can be painful, but at Sala family dentistry they are always gentle and they make sure you are comfortable throughout the entire visit. Kandice, Jessica, Monica and of course Dr. Jason are the best at what they do! I Definitely recommend signing up for their multiple programs to keep your teeth healthy and clean. By far the best dentist in the area!

This was the second procedure with them, both kinds of which I have had done before at different dentists in the past. the difference was night and day! They were gentle, kind and so informative on anything that I asked and when it came to my budget we couldn't do everything that was needed but we did the important parts so the infection could at least heal until I had more money again.

I've had root canals and extractions as a teenager and very young adult and they were traumatic enough I've been terrified to go back! The dentists were rough and cruel to me then saying mean things about my teeth. The teeth healed but never really stopped hurting. Today and the last visit through Sala was AMAZING! Both times I expected the same kind of pain and slow painful healing process but I never felt a thing either time, there was no prying my jaw to point of it popping and me crying even now over 6 hours later the difference is beyond noticeable!

Yes it hurts, I had a root canal but I can talk, eat and move! I'm so grateful right now that I found them and can't wait until I can finally finish everything that needs to be fixed even if it's a slow process now. Thank you again!

The staff Dentist and And dental hygienists are incredible at this dentistry office. they're friendly they and very professional. Candace, my dental hygienist, works gently with the mouth -- I never felt discomfort -- and very informative. She keeps you aware of everything she's doing at every moment and is very positive. Dr. Josh Woolley, the dentist, was professional and thorough in his evaluation and very positive in his feedback. This is a place that everyone should visit for full service dentistry.

I've been a patient of Sala's for about 10 years now and have never had any issues. I just saw Kandic for my teeth cleaning and she was patient with me and all of my questions, as well as informative! She noticed all of the small details, beyond what you hope your dentist looks at, and reapplied Vaseline every time my lips got dry and made sure the blood washed away.

Usually after polish there is always a bit of sand/grittiness left on your teeth despite how many times your dentist rinses for you, but Kandic was so detailed I didn't feel any! Tricia was speedy at checkout and always super friendly.

Dr Brandon, Joe and Janelle are the best! I've seen several other docs at Sala and I must say Dr Brandon is the BEST!(no disrespect to the other teams as they've all been great!). I recommend Sala to everyone who wants quality care, reasonable costs and patient focus!

They have a very well managed practice and great staff. They we're very accommodating when trying to fit in an appointment during a busy week. Janelle is my favorite staff and helped me schedule a long overdue appointment very quickly.

New to this area and read the reviews for the Sala Family Dentistry practice which is very impressive, made an appointment in just 3 days from my first call. I can say I am very thrilled to be a patient now and am so impressed with their attention to details, the warmth of each person providing services and the thoroughness as they walk through choices. Yes, I highly recommend. Erin, the hygienist is amazing (best cleaning ever!) and Dr. Christina took me in a week after my cleaning to replace an aging crown. I am looking forward to a wonderful relationship with this practice.

So far im a new patient here and I've been very impressed by the staff. I see Dr. Knapp and she's been very helpful nice and does good work. The technicians are also very friendly and do a good job. Even though this office is a bit of a way from my house it's worth driving to. They use the newest equipment and the rooms are very clean. Pricing isn't the highest nor the lowest of most dental offices. I look forward to my visits here in the future.

I've been a patient of this office for 5 years, and I am never disappointed in the care I receive here! I have severe dental anxiety and this practice, no matter who I see, is always so patient and loving with me. They really go the extra mile! My husband chipped his tooth and after calling every office in town and getting a very uncaring "we're 6 months out" response, I called over to Sala and he was fixed in 4 days.

My daughter is also a tiny patient of this office and I'm always so impressed with how fun and caring the providers are with her. They take the time to get to know you and remember even what exam chair we were in last time. This office is the best in town! Informative and caring. I've received excellent professional and caring service from Dr. Jason Sala & his assistant Mary. Very grateful for Dr. Jason's understanding of my childhood fears & both Dr. Jason & Mary working so patiently with me. It's now over 10 years that Dr. Jason has been my dentist. I'm indebted to him for the decisions he's made & the quality of work he's performed.

I always look forward to seeing Mary with her great personality & warm heart. Last week met Janelle at check out & she proved to be outstanding in customer service. Very nice addition to the office staff.

First visit. New to Reno. I had the best experience. Full x-rays and the most thorough dental and mouth exam I've ever received. Technician ERIN handled everything and did the easiest and best teeth cleaning I've ever had.ever in many decades of dental visits. Very gentle, and I appreciated all the questions asked before we got started. I'm such a sensitive and fussy patient but she took such great care, it went smoothly. Dr. JOSH went over all the x-rays with me and was genuinely concerned about me personally and my needs. JASON was very kind and helpful at checkout. No one wants to have to see the dentist. SFD makes it a very easy dental office to spend two hours in. Thank to all!

They were awesome. I went to another dentist here about 2 years ago, and while the dentist was very nice, I don't believe he was that honest as far as the status of my teeth (he was way too positive, and I didn't believe him). Fast forward to Sala, and they told me a prognosis that was much closer to what I imagined the case was. This review is specifically to call out Iris S.

She was amazing. The whole team (including Dr. Brandon) was great, but Iris was extremely patient with my questions, gave me a great amount of detail (which I very much appreciate, it helps me understand), and she was very polite. Overall, while my teeth aren't in tip-top shape, their service was.
