Dr. Brock F Tekin

I have been visiting Art of the Smile for a couple of years and have always had a great experience. The environment and staff are fantastic as well as the work provided. Dr. Tekin is very informative and relatable. He ensures his patients are knowledgeable of their dental health and keeps them on track for good maintenance. My favorite dental hygienist is Christina and is a large part of why I continue to come here. If they continue to attract and retain talent like her, they'll remain successful for a long time to come.

"I have 4 kids, I'm impatient" is not an excuse for a total lack of empathy and respect. He came across as condescending, and I left his office in tears. I have never had anyone in the medical profession treat me with such little disregard. The front desk staff and the dental hygienist were lovely and very nice. UPDATE: Unless you like overly aggressive, unnecessary treatment, PLEASE go elsewhere or at least get a second opinion.

In less than 2 minutes of looking at my x-rays, Dr. Tekin told me I needed a full extraction on my cracked tooth (a root canal would be impossible), AND a root canal/crown on the neighboring tooth. Dr. Tekin didn't even bother explaining to me why my tooth couldn't be salvaged, nor did he exert any effort whatsoever into trying to find a specialist that might.

He literally referred me to an oral surgeon and wrote "extraction". He had zero interest in preserving my natural teeth, zero interest in my feelings, and zero emotional intelligence. I immediately sought out a second opinion and I am so glad I did. My now dentist was shocked by Dr. Tekin's overly aggressive dental plan. Although she said there was a possibility the chipped tooth might not be saved, she was hopeful and referred me to an incredible endodontist.

As for the other root canal Dr. Tekin insisted on, it was easily remediated by a filling. Two days later, I am recovering from my successful root canal procedure on my "goner of a tooth". The crown will be placed within the next week and my chipped tooth will be history! I am so grateful to have found honest, dental professionals who actually CARE to go the extra mile for their patients. Has Dr. Tekin really mastered the "Art of the smile" or is he just a con artist? You decide.

I always have a great experience at Art of Smile. Sterling is very professional. The back office/ hygienist and Dentist(doctor) Brock Tekin are professional and thorough while providing service.

This was my first visit. I was very pleased with their professionalism, friendliness, and level of care. As I was having issues with my insurance, Sterling was very helpful making recommendations. She was prompt responding to my emails and sending text reminders. Cristina, my hygienist, was just as sweet, gentle, informative, and caring as she can be. Finally, Dr. Tekin came in for a final examination and for any necessary recommendations. Very professional! I highly recommend this dentistry establishment.

I have been going to Dr. Tekin since 2015 and have referred many friends. Always a great experience from cleaning to procedures. Highly recommend.

Sterling is the best! She helps get your appointments quickly scheduled. She also helps me know how much insurance will pay. I look forward to seeing her every time!

I'm new to Atlanta. I had gone to Great Expressions They tried to sell me me $1500 worth of services and they were rude even nasty. (True story.) I almost ran out of the office. I went to Art of the Smile. Christina was a precious jewel. Sterling was fine to me. 5 Stars! I recommend them.

I always enjoy my visits when I come for my dental appointments. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable about any questions or concerns. Great office. The staff is always friendly and mindful of the patient's time. They do a great job of letting you know of last minute cancellations. I had a cleaning today with Christina. She was so amazing and thorough! She told me everything she was doing and why, she was took extra care around a tender spot where my gums are swollen, and was very personable. I felt so comfortable with her. She really went above and beyond. I never have a bad experience here, but she really stepped it up a notch! Thanks, Christina!

I've been going to Dr. Tekin for 5 years. Dr. Tekin and the Team at Art of the Smile are the best I've dental office I've ever been to. I was experiencing multiple dental issues when coming in as a new patient. From my first visit with Dr. Tekin, he did a thorough exam and set up a personalized treatment plan based on priority of my dental issues and that worked with my schedule.

He thoroughly explains issues and treatment options, answers questuons, and allows the patient to make the best decisions for their treatment. He is conservative in his treatment and does not recommend treatment that you don't need. Dr. Tekin is a truly skilled dentist; he has installed the best dental caps that I've ever had that are sure to last years.

The office is run very smoothly, and I've never had to wait to see the team. Kayla, the office manager, is communitive, friendly to work with, and has helped me coordinate care with specialists and navigate insurance issues. The hygenists that work here are top notch; they are gentle and thorough, and have even been able to convince me to happily floss daily!

I am happy to report that Dr. Tekin and team have helped to restore and maintain my oral health to the best it has ever been. I am planning to stay with Art of the Smile for as long as I am in Atlanta. Thank you very much for restoring my oral health and making me happy with my smile. I can't recommend Dr. Tekin enough!

Art of the Smile is amazing. I called them today upset due to an inconvenience of my previous dentist office. They scheduled me an appointment today and I was well taken care of. Their services are quality and they are very professional. I felt important to them from the phone call all the way until I was walking out of the office. The receptionists are very thorough with their information and will make sure that you leave with a clear mind.

I highly recommend Dr. Tekin for your dental needs and concerns. Christina cleaned my teeth and she is awesome. I will continue to see her for my cleanings. I highly recommend Dr. Tekin. I had a horrible experience with my previous Cigna network provider. That dentist attempted 4 times to place a crown in my mouth. Each time after only a few days the crown would pop out. No solution from that dentist. At Art of the Smile, Dr. Tekin immediately knew what to do. I had a root canal and he built up the. stump of my tooth.

In a few short days, he placed a crown in my mouth that is a permanent fix. I never had to wait or be concerned that he didn't know what he was doing. Very professional and comfortable office setting. I'm thankful for his expertise.

I enjoyed my visit with Christina, the hygienist at Art of the Smile. She was very kind and very thorough. All of staff was friendly and the office is beautiful. The office is located in very convenient location with ample parking. I would recommend for anyone looking for a quality cosmetic dentist in Buckhead.

I have been going to Dr. Tekin for years now. This is the first time I have stayed with the dentist this long. I hated to to the dentist but finally found the doctor who is kind, great at what he does and he has AWSOME staffs. The office is clean, warm and decorated beautifully, place you like to sit and relax while you wait for the doctor. My. crown and filling are done by Dr. Tekin.

I am very happy with my crown he had done years ago and still great. He will make sure you are probably num so you will not feel any pain, he take his time and make sure everything is done properly. I will be going back to him for my other crowns after I am done with implant. His office is on Howell Mill, I live very far for him but he is worth the time. I highly recommend Dr. Tekin if anyone is looking for a good dentist.

Yes very professional very nice staff plus very friendly and excellent customer service. They also work with insurance and payment. I love Ms. Kayla.

Avoid this place at all costs. I have perfectly healthy teeth and i have never had problems. They suggested i do a deep cleaning atleast once and they can do my regular cleaning. Once I did the deep cleaning and paid out pocket they never schedule any regular cleaning covered by insurance. When i went back they wanted to do deep cleaning again! They would not do regular cleaning. Avoid this place at any cost if you are interested in your teeth care.

This was my first and last experience at this office. I went here last week for a possible loose tooth and was instantly referred to a Periodontist that works with Dr. Tekin's office. Dr. Tekin spent all of 2 mins with me and confirmed that "i could lose my tooth" and "there was nothing he could do for me" he lacked empathy and was not friendly in my opinion.

I was not expecting my dental visit to be all rainbows and unicorns BUT his abrasive and uncaring nature threw me for a loop. When he realized that there was not a lot of $$$ he could get from me in my particular situation he flicked me off to the front desk. There was no attempt to take x-rays or assist me with any other care, or check and see what periodontists would be "in-network" for me, as they only "refer off their relationship with doctors" sounds like a kick back situation and not the best when it comes to patient care.

Being that I will need to pay out of pocket for my expenses due to selecting a DMO vs a PPO for my dental care I chose to find another well respected periodontist NOT on Dr. Tekin's "preferred list". Dr. Tekin will not be getting my business as this experience left me with literally a bad taste in my mouth, all the candles and wanna be zen spa like atmosphere in this office would never equal to quality patient care for me personally. Having said all of this the office staff is pleasant and professional and my limited iterations with them was quite nice, unfortunately i was there to see the dentist not see them as my experience would have been different.

First-time patient. Came here because of reviews. Professional practice. Very pleasant and professional hygienist Mira and Dr. Tekin. No pressure to buy services from them, just good work and reasonable recommendations for dental care. High recommendation from me.

My first dental experience in Atlanta was horrific. From the moment I walked in, Kayla greeted me with the warmest smile. The energy and ambiance of the office was amazing. My hygienist, Samantha, was very personable and put my dental anxiety at ease. Dr. Tekin was very friendly and professional. I have found my new dental home!

You won't find a better dentist than Dr. Tekin. I had a difficult case and he worked tirelessly to provide excellent results. And Kayla is the most competent practice manager in the history of the world.

Great experience! I called the first 5 dentists in my insurance and this was the only one near me that was able to get me in and work with my schedule. Really great experience. Only thing I would change is that you have to pay for parking.it's small but not the best ending to an otherwise fantastic experience.

Five Star A+ I recently went in for the beginning work on a crown. It was amazing, the pain was so minimal I dozed off for a bit; a great deal has been done to make the environment relaxing; the cost is not excessive; and the equipment is state of the art. I feel blessed to have found this office.

I was already more than pleased with the ambiance of the office. Walking in to soothing music and an aromatherapy candle. But the service is what elevates the experience here! Friendly faces, helpful attitudes and detailed dental work make this office worth the visit! The Chick-fil-A Ice Cream Coupon was just the cherry on top of an always great experience.

I follow the Art of the Smile page a few months, I love the posts, the photos, I am surprised at every result, it is great to see so many people with their smiles renewed and transformed. In my opinion, Dr. Brock and all his team are the best!

Luxury spa like environment! Beautiful nature views from treatment rooms! BEST dentist ever! Love Dr. Tekin, Susan, Kayla, Tiffany and the whole team. Have been coming here for years & so glad I found them. Have never had a bad experience here! They take pride in their work, have always done an amazing job on my cleanings, teeth whitening, custom whitening trays, removing all my silver fillings & replacing them with natural colored fillings.

They even repaired the bad work that a previous dentist did and have seen me on a Saturday during an emergency! I look forward to each visit.the office is setup like a luxury spa and I always feel calm and relaxed. They remember me when I visit, ask about my job and family and always make me feel great. Dr. Tekin is a master of dentistry. On my last visit, I had to have two crowns drilled. He preformed so painlessly that I practically fell asleep in the chair. Kayla is pleasant and knowledgeable with insurance coverage. I couldn't be happier with Art of the Smile.

This rating is strictly for the office staff because I didn't have the chance to meet with the dentist. I spoke with a lady maybe two weeks ago. The office staff called me earlier this week and asked if I wanted to move my appointment up to a different day because they had availability sooner. They told me the latest I could be seen was at 12.

I told them I couldn't leave work until 11:45 at the earliest (I work near the airport), in which I wouldn't be able to arrive until at least 12:15. The nice lady over the phone made my appointment for 12:15. The day of, I called them around 11:55 to let them know I was running late due to heavy traffic and my phone was showing I wouldn't be able to get there until 12:27.

They asked if I had filled out my paperwork, to which I answered no (hadn't had time to complete). The woman put me on hold and came back and said "If Mapquest is showing you 12:27, it's probably going to be later than that. Well, if you can't get here by 12:30 you're going to have to reschedule." I rushed to get there, made it to the parking lot at exactly 12:30. Called in and they said because I was a new patient I had to be there at a certain time and there was no leeway since I was late past the 15 minute grace period.

I think there should've been some consideration because I was a new patient, took off work to make the appointment, called ahead of time to inform them I was running late, and because I was stuck in traffic. I have a bankers schedule, so the time they're open is the time I'm at work. I have to say I am a very punctual person and I HATE being late, but work is something that I cannot avoid.

I guess I probably wouldn't be as upset if I didn't already take off work strictly for this appointment. I hate to say this because even though this is the closest dentist to me, I will have to pass.

I moved from South Florida back to Atlanta in January and my dentist in Florida recommended Dr. Tekin. I had a great experience for my first visit. Tiffany the hygienist was great. She was was very thorough and did a great job cleaning my teeth. Then I met Dr. Tekin who looked over my mouth and was very friendly. I am very pleased and would highly recommend them.

I LOVE this place! I was referred to this office from a friend, after having horrible experiences at my past few dentist offices. My hygienist, Maile, is super sweet and personable and my dentist, Dr. Tekin, is knowledgeable and quick. All of that combined with an organized front desk staff and comfortable waiting room has made a me a patient for life.

Not a good experience at all. The office tried to push me into treatment that was not needed, and I really did not appreciate being spoken to with disrespect and like you are a child. found another dentist office immediately afterwords. Love my new dentist office and glad I can put this experience behind me.

The worst dentist I have ever had. unwilling to take responsibility for his bad doing I have a tooth that is now moving second to his work and he is not willing to fix his badly constructed teeth.

I chose Dr. Tekin's office based on them accepting my new dental insurance and the good reviews on Google and Yelp. Dr. Tekin and his staff (Kayla and Susan) exceeded my expectations on my first visit today. Susan was the technician who performed my cleaning and she made it the most comfortable and relaxed cleaning I think I have ever had. Dr. Tekin is great as far as listening and understanding your immediate needs and future goals with your smile.

He understands cost limitations of having a 100% perfect smile but gives a good plan of attack to get the smile you seek. Through years of neglect I am still playing catch up restoration but he gave me a good plan of attack to get to where I can focus on cosmetics. Thank you Dr. Tekin and your entire team! So glad to have found you guys and have already referred two colleagues to you.

I made an appointment here after switching insurance and my last dentist was no longer supported. But I really liked going here and would continue going even if I could switch back. The office is clean and neat. I did not wait long for my appointment. They had on fun music and the TV in the front lobby was playing music videos. Everyone was nice, from the front desk staff, to the technician, to Dr Tekin. I will definitely keep going here and recommend it to anyone.

Normally I don't write reviews on yelp but Art of the Smile really is a great place to go. The appointment started as soon as I got there, Kayla was extremely organized and had called 3 separate times to help me reschedule an earlier time for the appointment. I don't think I've gone to any dentist as organized as they were. They were very patient and weren't pushy with extra treatment which I really appreciated. It was extremely affordable as well. They were really excited I used yelp. I would definitely recommend.
