In association with Board Certified Orthodontists, Oral Surgeons, Periodontists, and Implantologists, we provide a huge array of services in addition to Pediatric and General Dentistry. Dr. Amini completed her undergraduate studies at the University of San Diego and Oxford College, Oxford, England.

Dr. Ellahe Amini has been in private practice since 1987 in Howard County and Frederick County. She completed her undergraduate studies at the University of San Diego, California and Oxford College, Oxford, England. She graduated from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine, Boston, with honors in Endodontics (root canals), pediatric dentistry, and operative/restorative dentistry.

We provide dental care for patients of all ages.
The American Dental Association (ADA) guidelines recommend visiting a dentist at least twice a year for a checkup and professional cleaning. Our office also recommends a minimum of two visits per year. If you are in braces or have a history of periodontal disease more frequent visits are recommended.
The temporomandibular joint (TMJ) is a hinge-like connection point between your jaw and skull. It is what allows us to move our jaw when we eat or talk. Several factors can cause this joint to become irritated or inflamed leading to a painful condition called temporomandibular joint disorder, or TMD.

I am seriously disappointed with the customer service and customer treatment by your secretary. While the medical and dental offices are expected to work for profit, these offices have also obligations to put the patient first in extreme cases. Last week, my tooth cap, that you had placed last year, came off when I was eating. I called your office for an earlier appointment.
Your secretary indicated that if I need a quick appointment I have to pay $50 additional out of pocket. But, if I don't want to pay this extra fee my appointment will be scheduled for about 1.5 months later. I had no other choice to call another dentist and get a quick appointment (no extra charges of course!) to fix the cap. I never expected Dr. Amini to treat her patient in such an unethical and unprofessional manner. Nader Bazzazieh

Dr. Amini and all staff are educated, well trained, efficient, and friendly. A patient will always be treated as an individual and will be educated and trained to understand and apply good health care for teeth, gums, tongue, and mouth. The patient is actively engaged in every process and makes decisions with expert guidance. Administrative staff are outstanding.
