Dr. Clark-Lowell received her undergraduate degree from Wells College in Aurora, NY. She then went on to the University of Connecticut where she received her doctorate in Dental Medicine and was awarded the Academy of General Dentistry "Best General Dentist" award. At the time of this writing she is the first female president of the 6th District Dental Society (9 counties in the central/southern tier).

Hygiene Report

It is normally recommended that patients have a dental examination and cleaning two times annually. Cortland County does not have a fluoridated water supply, which means frequent dental cleanings and exams are critical to maintaining dental health, particularly in this area. Our office suggests dental radiographs (X-rays) be taken once per year.

X-rays Report

Our digital X-ray system allows us to expose only a very localized area of the mouth with only ~10% of the strength film x-rays needed. The X-ray is on the LCD flatscreen for doctor and patient discussion within a few seconds and may be printed immediately in high resolution for other doctors offices if needed.

Dr. Kristin Clark-Lowell isn't just a fantastic dentist, but she also cares deeply about our local community. She has donated in multiple ways to the clothes closets through the local school system. This was my first visit. My previous dentist retired. Dr. Clark-Lowell put me at ease right away. The dental assistant did a great job taking and explaining my x-rays. Dr Clark-Lowell examined my teeth and gums. She fully explained what she saw. Her office employees were very helpful. The exam room was very comfortable.
