Dr. Jeffrey H. DuBois earned his B.A. in Biology from the University of Maryland. He is a 1983 graduate of Georgetown University School of Dentistry. Dr. DuBois is a member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry and Alpha Omega Dental Fraternity. He is licensed to perform conscious sedation by the State of Arizona.
Maintaining good oral hygiene is one of the most important things you can do for your teeth and gums. Healthy teeth not only enable you to look and feel good, they make it possible to eat and speak properly. Good oral health is important to your overall well-being. Daily preventive care, including proper brushing and flossing, will help stop problems before they develop.
A: First, we explain everything we are going to do. We demonstrate the basics of a dental check-up and count the teeth. If your child is over age 3 we polish their teeth. We carefully examine the development of their mouth. This is important because dental problems often start early including crowding, appearance of plaque or tartar or an abnormality in the number of teeth.
Our office is open Monday through Friday, with hours that can accommodate most any schedule. We know that your time is important, and we work to ensure your visit is scheduled as professionally and quickly as possible. We know dental emergencies are never convenient or timely and we are commited to our patients' health no matter the time. We took 2 kids to this office for several years and having used 2 other children's dentists, we have to share that this office was excellent. Dr. Dubois is great with the kids, communicates very well with parents and obviously is an expert in the field. We moved to Phoenix and will miss this office tremendously. Great environment and staff! Personable yet professional! My 5 year old was almost in tears before we got there because of past experiences. Once she met the staff she was completely calm and cooperative. I appreciate how Dr. Dubois addressed problems areas without making them feel bad about themselves and educated them on what to do for better results. Looking forward to our next visit!

My daughter needed a filling when she was small. Dr Dubois gave her nitrous oxide and THEN demanded that I leave the room. On previous visits while she was not on nitrous, I was not asked to leave. When I refused to leave my drugged child alone in the room with this man, he refused to treat her. We walked out and never looked back. Find a dentist for your children who welcomes your involvement and understands your concerns.

Dr DuBois has been my children's dentist for the last 12 years or so. He and his staff are always welcoming and quickly make the children feel at ease. It is an honest and very professional practice and the kids never fear going. We feel lucky to have found him and dread the day my kids outgrow the practice.

Dr. Dubois and his staff are wonderful with the kids! Patient, caring, knowledgeable and professional. We were recommended to him by our pediatrician after our son, at age 2, had a bad experience with another pediatric dentist in town and we have been coming ever since. When he wouldn't even open his mouth for the other dentist, after meeting Dr. Dubois he felt comfortable and opened right up!
When our daughter was old enough to begin dental visits she came along with her brother happily. Ten years later, my son still has no problems coming to visit Dr. Dubois and his friendly staff and my daughter now at 7, even after having a number of cavities over the years, has no problem when it's time for her next appointment. I have always recommended him to all our friends and family!

Doctor Dubois and his amazing team of friendly, warm-hearted assistants are the reason I drive 45 minutes one way to take my children here for dental care. I first met Dr. Dubois years ago at a previous practice and when he moved I lamented having lost him as my son's dentist as he was the only dentist with right touch with my fearful and anxious son.
Every time we visit the practice it's inviting, my children feel relaxed and Dr. Dubois is so subtle that the children feel like they are visiting and chatting with a family friend rather than having their teeth checked and cleaned. I cannot recommend his practice highly enough to any parent but especially parents of children that are nervous going to the dentist.

I have been taking my granddaughter to Dr. Dubois for approximately 2 years. She was very nervous the first time and Dr. Dubois and his staff made her feel relaxed and comfortable. She had some extensive work done yet she never hesitates when it's time for a checkup. She has no problems going to the dentist which is great for a 7 year old.

We were referred to Dr. Dubois from our Pediatrician. My daughter has had to have filings twice and is always happy to come to dentist. None of my children are afraid to come to dentist- which is a little unfortunate because I can't use the classic parent scare tactic of 'brush your teeth or we'll have to go to dentist'. He's a 30+ minute drive for us but it's worth it!
