Dr. Merchant is very thorough and provides indepth explanations of everything! She and her staff are also mindful of their patient's needs and are very gentle. I feel that she is dedicated to providing excellent care to her patients. I cannot recommend her highly enough.

Dr. Merchant is a perpetual "10" with me and my wife, having had 8-1/2 years of experience with my sad dental history. The latest example was when I chipped a filling in a front tooth she warned me that it might not hold. One call this morning, and despite her busy schedule I was in within 2 hours. She would have given me a proper crown but for my own filled schedule today and the rest of the week.

When I return the work gets done. She has an abiding sense of serving her patients, and this explains the modernity of her equipment. This translates to quick and accurate architecture of the new crowns. In experience with my last dentist, the procedure was sometimes agonizingly hit-and-miss. I've not seen a single error in all my years in her care. She works with assistants as evenly as you would hope your airline crew does prior to take-off!

Dr. Merchant is always thorough and spends time talking with you. Great dental work and the rest of the staff is excellent as well. Very reasonable prices for work that is not covered by insurance. Highly recommend this dental office.

I recently got my teeth cleaned with Dr. Merchant. The experience was great! This was the most thorough dental visit I've ever had. The office manager, Kathi, was very efficient and kind to work with, both in setting up my initial appointment and planning a future visit. Dulce got me set up and even checked my blood pressure. She then took not only X-rays but also photos of my teeth. Later, Dr. Merchant used these images in conjunction with the X-rays to explain my oral health in way that I easily understood.

This is especially helpful if you are a visual learner. Then Stephanie, the hygienist, cleaned my teeth. She is an expert in her craft. I never felt pain or discomfort. Also, she didn't bang any of the instruments against my teeth which was a big blessing. Dr. Merchant and staff are professional, efficient, and friendly and I will definitely be going back again!

I just recently changed dentists to Dr. Merchant. I am very impressed and thankful I finally found a dentist that is pleasant, thorough, honest, caring and professional. She explains things thoroughly before any work that needs done and even during the procedure. She'll answer any questions you have at any time. My initial exam and cleaning was the most thorough I've ever had.

I am 66 yrs old and have moved around a lot, so I have seen a number of dentists over the years. The office staff is just as wonderful. At the front desk you'll find Kathi, a very pleasant and efficient greeter as you enter and will professionally check you in and handle any insurance issues you may have. She has a "black belt" when it comes to dealing with insurance companies. Stephanie is the hygienist.

She does a very thorough and comfortable cleaning. I enjoyed chatting with her while there. Dulce and Desiree are Dr. Merchants assistants, and they are just as pleasant as the rest of the staff. Going to the dentist is far from my favorite thing to do, but with Dr. Merchant and her wonderful staff it will be a more pleasant experience than I have had in the past.

Dr. Merchant and her staff are amazing, and she is hands down the best dentist I have ever had. Her office is super clean, uses the cutting edge technology, while being inviting and friendly. I'm so glad a friend had recommended Alpa!

I have been a patient of Dr. Merchant for nearly 20 years. She is wonderful along with her staff. My father was a dentist so I had very high standards finding another dentist after he retired. I have only had very positive experiences.

I Highly recommend my new hi-tech dentist with superior state-of-the-art equipment! Dr. Alpa Merchant and her staff are outstanding! Dr. Merchant has been practicing dentistry in Tucson for 20+ years Dr. Merchant uses cutting edge technology. She uses Infrared Scan Photography that can detect decay early. After my first visit, she let me know there were some old fillings in need of repair.

I was pleased to learn entire fillings did NOT have to be replaced. She could save a good majority of the filling and just repair the portion that needed repair. That saved me PAIN and cost. The reason I changed dentist in the first place was because the front office person at my old dentist, Kathi, changed to Dr. Merchant's office. There is no administrator more efficient than Kathi!

When it comes to filing insurance paperwork, I never have to deal with insurance on my day off. Dental Assistant Desiree is professional, patient, and safety conscious--explaining everything as she goes. Stephanie, the hygienist is uber gentle when cleaning your teeth. Dr. Merchant's entire staff is the best! My husband and I have lived in Tucson for 15 years now. This is my fourth dentist (I am very picky) and I'm happy to have finally found my dream dentist in Dr Alpa Merchant!

Dr. Merchant is wonderful. Super skills - and she listens! I like that she uses her camera to keep a visual record of changes in my mouth/teeth. Her expertise in cosmetic dentistry shows in all her work; she takes exceptional care with crowns, implants, etc. She's great with her staff (very important to me) and generous with her time - she does volunteer dental work in very poor areas of South America and this year is taking one of her assistants with her.
