Parkinson's Disease (PD) is a progressive neurological disorder that affects movement.
Every night, millions of people go to sleep hoping to wake in the morning feeling rested and relaxed. However, for people with sleep-disordered breathing problems, this is just not possible. If you suffer from non-restful sleep, you're not alone! More than 40 million Americans suffer from some variety of sleep disorder - many of which go undiagnosed.
Orthopedics simply put is changing the size, shape, and relationship of the bones of the face and jaws to create symmetry and balance. The simple concept of Orthopedics suggests that dental overcrowding is not due to there being too many teeth, but to the fact that facial growth has not reached its full genetic and growth potential.

I was referred by my dentist for my jaw pain, clicking and locking. It was so difficult to eat anything because of the fear of having my jaw locked! I finally went to Dr. D, and I was impressed with the first appointment, for about an hour he took measurements, pictures, x-rays, and broke down the complete process and treatment for me. From the beginning of the year, I had a small opening of 32mm, and now I'm at 53 mm! I can take a bite out of a cheeseburger with no more locking or pain! Thank you so much, Dr. D.

Dr. Dermerjian and staff are wonderful people to work with. I had been suffering from TMJ for over two years. My doctor sent me to physical therapy and my dentist worked on me for over a year and a half. My pain continued and new symptoms started to develop such as jaw popping, headaches, neck pain, & muscle tightness. My dentist designed two different "night guard" appliances and they didn't work. Discouragement set in because I couldn't eat solid foods any longer.
My dentist referred me to Dr. Dermerjian and he helped me beyond what I thought was possible. All my symptoms are gone and I can sleep at night without waking up in pain. I can eat solid foods, chew gum, and eat popcorn! Finding the Center For TMJ was an answer to prayer! I am extremely grateful and satisfied with the treatment I received!

I was referred to Dr. D by my dentist. I was in so much jaw pain. It was the worst feeling ever. No amount of over the counter meds helped. Dr. D is amazing. He came in on his day off to see me because I was in that much pain. Not only did he help me with my jaw issue but I was educated on how all the nerves/muscles in your face/neck/head work.

The reason I am doing 3 stars is not due to the doctor. He is amazing; however, his receptionist who also does billing for insurance was so difficult to work with that I stopped going. She said my insurance didn't cover it and had to pay but it was due to how she coded it. When I asked her to refile, she became rude. I had to do a group call with the insurance company (my idea) to get her to correctly. I ended up going to a different doctor since I hated dealing with her.

I have been seeing Dr. Demerjian since December 2009. He has changed my life with the use of an oral orthotic to help treat my TMJD. Luckily for me it also helped with my RSD/CRPS/CPS symptoms of chronic pain as well. He is an amazing provider who is caring, understanding, and treats each patient on an individual level. So happy I found him and that he has been able to help with my chronic pain challenges as well.

I have suffered from a Tmj disorder and the symptoms and the pain ( jaw pain, shoulder pain, neck pain, headaches, ear popping, back pain) are really driving me crazy. Most of my days were spent dealing with pain and no amount of oral pain meds can relieve the pain I am suffering from. It is really depressing. Through the recommendation of my dentist, I went to Dr Demerjian and he made an oral orthotic for me and within two weeks, my pain and symptoms were gone.
I got back the quality of life I previously had because of Dr Demerjian's help! He is brilliant and caring to his patients. And his staff are all friendly, accommodating and helpful! Thank you so much Dr Demerjian!
