We accept most traditional insurance plans, contact our office to verify acceptance of your plan. Jacob W. Skinner DMD, PA does not participate in Health Management Organizations; however, we will be happy to file your insurance claims for you.

Dr. Jacob W. Skinner Dr. Jacob W. Skinner grew up in Birmingham, Alabama and attended Auburn University. After moving back to Birmingham, he attended dental school at the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB), from which he would receive his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree. Dr. Skinner decided to relocate to Florida when he was selected to a general practice residency program at the West Palm Beach VA Medical Center.

I went a few months ago and they are a wonderful dentist office. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Liz did a checkup and regular cleaning for me, very informative and gave me advice for a few things (mostly wisdom teeth). Dr. Skinner was very nice and let me know that I had a cavity that needed filled. On a side note I chipped a piece off of my one front tooth years ago and Dr. Skinner said he would fix it for free when I got my cavity filled! This is a great dentist office to go to for all your dentistry needs!

I love this dentist! It is a hidden treasure. When you first pull up it looks like a normal plaza- but when you walk in, each dentist chair has huge ceiling to floor windows that overlooks its own personal fountain/waterfall in this isolated garden area on the side of the building. I have never been a fan of the dentist, but if I have to go to the dentist, THIS IS THE ONE TO GO TO.
Aside from the beautiful view hidden in the suburbs of Tampa, the staff is incredibly friendly as well. The lady at the front desk was very inviting, and the dentist assistant was great with my teeth. I only met with Dr. Skinner for a few minutes at the end, but he was really patient and answered all of my questions entirely. I love this dentist and am so grateful to have found it!

As a former dental hygienist I know what to look for in a dentist. I was told to have a tooth removed by one dds because "there was not enough room for a crown" and another wanted to do a root canal and crown lengthening to save it to the tune of $4600. Looking for a second opinion I sought out Dr. Skinner. "While that would work and make my job easier you have no decay and a lot of healthy tooth structure, I prefer to start more conservatively." Well, that sounded like a splendid idea to me.
I liked the Dr., his staff and office. Well run, clean and friendly. I now have a beautiful, perfectly fitting crown. Thank you Dr. Skinner. Two weeks later I had a different, older crown come off. They worked me in on a late Friday afternoon and promptly recemented. I am sold. And now a regular patient!

BEST DENTIST EVER! Dr. Skinner and his staff are warm, welcoming, efficient, and just amazing. I would recommend this practice to everyone. After my first visit I received a hand written note by Dr. Skinner thanking me for coming in. This is what truly valuing your patients is all about. The best dentist my wife and I have ever had! Dr Skinner is very friendly, and Liz (our hygienist) is a delight! Also, in the teeth cleaning area, rather than just having harsh fluorescent lights, the back wall is all glass and outside it they have a calming garden that lets in tons of natural light, making the whole space feel much more relaxing. A 10/10 dentist experience we haven't been able to find anywhere else.

I met dr skinner when he himself answered my call to his office first thing in the morning after a night of wisdom tooth pain. Since then have been a patient. i can honestly say i enjoy his office, staff, Hygienist + Dr skinner himself more than any other dental office in my life. He has such a great personality and is full of energy! Thankyou for the awesome service!

I rarely leave reviews however this office is great. Dr Skinner and the staff run a tight ship. They are unfailingly professional, courteous, and punctual. Dr Skinner and his staff focus on what is important for the health of your teeth and don't try to sell you unnecessary extras. Highly recommend.

I had a great experience with Dr. Skinner, and have switched to him as my primary dentist! I had been experiencing severe tooth pain and called in on a whim, and I am very glad that I did. From the initial telephone call, which was answered by Dr. Skinner, to the procedure, my experience was pleasant. Not to mention the beautiful ambiance of the fountains while you are in the chair.
I then went back for my semi-annual cleaning and my dental hygienist was a delight. She was very personable and thorough with my cleaning. I would highly recommend this dental practice.

Dr. Skinner and his staff are all awesome! He has a few great hygienists but one in particular is Stefanie. Not only is she a sweetheart, but she's the best hygienist I've ever had. I have very sensitive areas and she has NEVER hurt me. Dr. Skinner is so nice! He's done a few fillings for me and has always taken great care of me. Dental appointments have always made me nervous, but not when I'm at Dr. Skinner's office!
