Mid City Dentistry

Mid city dentistry is top notch. They are a very inviting, professional an clean office. The waiting area is kid friendly and has many games in playroom to keep them occupied. It is in a safe neighborhood and the staff members are all very helpful. They explain procedures thoroughly and are kind to all the patients. I will definitely remain loyal after receiving superb treatment from Dr. Mita, Kay and Martha!

Avoid this place if you're considering it. I made an appointment and was sitting in the chair for an hour before the doctor saw me. The doctor did the cleaning herself and it was the worst cleaning I've ever had. She spent almost no time on my cleaning and instead tried to upsell me on a deep cleaning. Why would I pay for a deep cleaning when her standard cleaning was so bad?

Do a decent cleaning and then I'll consider paying for a deep cleaning. The dentist seems overbooked. The staff were very nice, but they all seemed to be afraid of the doctor. The doc must be a real tyrant when patients aren't around. I was angry when I left this place because they had me sitting for over an hour in the chair without working on me, and then when the doctor finally got to my cleaning it took less than five minutes.

Wonderful experience at Midcity Dentistry! Dr. Lat is an expert at her job and very kind. Fair prices compared to other dentists in the area, along with the latest technology in their equipment. No messing around with having to re-do x-rays like other places! Plus the camera they use let's you see exactly what's going on in your mouth which I found pretty tech savvy. Definite 5 star!

If you want a knowledgeable dentist, go visit Mid City Dentistry. Dr. Mita is very thorough and you never feel pressured to accept any procedures you are not comfortable with. The entire office staff will make you feel welcomed from the minute you walk in.

It's been my 8yrs coming to Mid-City Dentistry for cleaning, filling, and root canal. They have a beautiful clinic office, kids play area which my son enjoyed to play with, excellent equipment, caring and friendly staff. Dr. Mita Cereno-Lat is the BEST. Dr. Cereno-Lat and her staff are wonderful - they always treat us like family and the service and care is the best. The doctor personally takes the time to explain the entire process, the options, and the long term goals. I feel as if they are all vest in my care and wellbeing.

Dr. Mita (Dr. Christina Cerano Lat) will forever be my dentist. My family and I have been seeing her for the past 15 years because she treats us like family. From the moment we walked in the door, my daughter took an immediate liking to Mita and her staff. This was extremely important for a mom that was having her 2 year old teeth cleaned and check for the first time. Character, kindness, cleanliness and consideration not to mention knowledge go a long way.

Her staff are impeccable and there are just not enough positive words to describe why I continue to go to Mid City Dentistry. Highly recommended Did I mention how Mita is a stellar dentist?

Unfortunately, this practice is run by amateurs. The dentist is unable to keep appointment times and the staff are always overwhelmed and stressed. The dentist is frequently yelling at staff members in front of customers. This is likely the reason there is high turnover here. The focus of this practice is solely on fees because there is only one dentist and usually only one dental hygienist.

It seems more like a learning practice more than anything else. It is not uncommon for several people (+4 people) waiting at any given moment in the waiting area and other rooms. The dentist wants to grow her bottomline but it is at the expense of paying customers. I finally left this dentist for another practice that can keep appointments. My time is valuable, please save yourself the anguish and grief. Avoid at all costs! Be careful of "premium" services being pushed frequently similar to a quota type environment.
