Talk to your dentist about what types of oral care products will be most effective for you. Replace your toothbrush every three or four months, or sooner if the bristles become frayed. A worn toothbrush will not do a good job of cleaning your teeth. Children's toothbrushes often need replacing more frequently than adults because they can wear out sooner.
There are certain medical conditions that require a patient to be pre-medicated prior to dental treatment. This usually requires the patient to take antibiotics 1 hour before treatment to prevent any serious medical problems. The two main conditions requiring pre-medication are certain types heart conditions and artificial joint replacements.
At what age should I bring my kids to the dentist? By the time they're two or three, children should have enough "baby teeth" for a routine exam. It's also a great way for them to get comfortable visiting the dentist's office. Do I have to floss? Yes. Flossing removes food particles and bacteria from between teeth and gums that your toothbrush just can't reach.

The best experience I ever had! My first time there felt like I was a long time client. I have so many issues with my teeth and they took the time to speak to me and I never felt rushed. The cleaning I received from Brittany was the best! My teeth look whiter and feel so clean. This should be everyone's dental office! The staff is so kind in the front as well. I would give more stars if I could;

WOW WOW WOW! I have anxiety when visiting the dentist and I have been delaying it as I hadn't have good experiences in the past. Well, luckily I made an appointment here and I had an excellent experience. Denise cleaned my teeth and was more than amazing. Very knowledgeable, kind and gentle. She did an outstanding job. I already told my friends and I told my husband that he needs to go there from now on. Dr. Kim was also very nice and professional. The office is very clean too!

We've been going to Dr S. for 20+ years.he's excellent! The Allendale Dental team is the best. Dr. Lee (oral surgeon) is fabulous. Everyone in the practice is kind, personable and professional. The office and facilities are always clean and beautiful. While dental procedures are never fun, you will have the best experience possible with this group.

I've been a patient at Allendale dental for over ten years. Dr. John is very professional and friendly; never pushing unnecessary procedures. The staff is always lovely. Their old office was cozy and clean. Their new office is enormous but still modern and clean; full of new friendly hires. They follow CDC protocols to protect you and their staff. This place runs like a well oiled machine. Parking is never a problem. I'm never dissatisfied with their service; it's like a day at the spa for me.

My visit to Allendale Dental with Dr. John S. was an excellent one. Dr. John explained what he was going to do on my tooth and he asked me if I had any questions so I understood what he would be doing. Dr and his assistant both were kind and efficient they made me feel very comfortable. The front desk staff is friendly and also efficient and the office is spotless.

This is the absolute BEST dental care I have ever received! All staff Totally professional, pain free X-rays and cleaning by the hygienist. Dentist fixed a problem I was having with my mouth guard, also very informative and recommended what to use and how to keep my gums and teeth healthier. Finally, they used all Covid protocols so I felt safe going inside and I was taken for my appointment without a wait. I recommend this dentist 100%!

I have use Allendale Dental service since the beginning of this location. Doctor John and his staff always provide their best of services. The office is clean and mordant with all up-to-date equipments. More important to a customer like me, a middle class patient, they tell the honest opinion on my suggested treatment. Do not push extra services.

I thought Allendale was a good reputable dentist until I realized literally every visit, the dentist was trying to convince me to pay for a new procedure or get braces or get teeth whitening or have my wisdom teeth removed, etc. Completely immoral to try and profit from patients by making them undergo unnecessary procedures.

The dentist is okay. Hygienists are good. The major complain I have is that I have been overcharged or charged for procedures I didnt get done a couple of times. This practice doesnt let go any chance of extracting money from you! The receptionist is also not very pleasant to talk to and his hardly helpful with any questions. I am not going back there again.

Everything I could want in a dentist, I've found in Dr. Goyal and his practice. First, the dentist is top notch. Gentle hands, gentle manners, such that I'd trust him with my child. His expertise is at the forefront of his field; which he has proven in the procedures I've had there, and in the fact that he still teaches at U Penn. He has invested in the latest technology.
Most important, honesty. There've been abnormalities in my x-rays which easily he could've interpreted as cha-ching! Instead I've walked out of there with the same penny in my pocket and greater trust in my doctor. He's an Invisalign provider, even for maintenance, which is how I got hooked up initially. Second, the hygienist is the best I've encountered in my ripe years and willingness to pay up. Liz is more thorough than the quickies out there, going through the motions.
I used to have problem with tartar. First time, she spent a good fifteen minutes with me going over brushing angles and techniques. I wasn't offended by that. I know she was trying to save my teeth. Now, I don't have as bad a problem. And my breath is fresh day and night. I feel like she's set me on the right course to get more years out of my choppers. Third, the pricing. It's like a modern 21st century provider charging 1980's prices. Honestly.
I was in the back for an hour and a half today, between cleaning and fillings. I walked out of there, with a big fat zero bill. Their billing system could see immediately what my insurance covers, which is pretty lame. Even when I've paid out of pocket before, I felt like I'm robbing the store or in some time warp.
