Simon grew up in Montreal Canada and graduated with Bachelor of Arts in History with a minor in education from Concordia University. As business manager at SMPD he oversees patient accounts and can be found handling almost all the non-clinical jobs from sterilization to front desk. Simon loves to spend time with his family.
Payment is expected at the time services are rendered. For your convenience, we accept cash, personal checks, Visa, Master Card, American Express and Discover. We also accept "Care Credit." We participate in delta dental premiere plan. If we do not take your insurance plan, we are happy to file your insurance claims electronically.

Awesome! My very cautious 3 year old loves Miss Allyson, and she is SO wonderful with him. Both dentists are great too. It is really nice to have a toddler so excited to g ok to the dentist! Updated: my kids are now 6 and 3, and I can't believe how relaxed they are here. All of the staff just knows exactly what they need (better than I do!) So thankful for this team!

Dr. Whitney Wignall and her staff have been MORE than exceptional! Every detail from communication to the most creative interior for children is outstanding. I have such appreciation for Dr. Wignall and the years of care for my daughter. The practice that she and her husband, Simon, have built is the one to entrust your child's care to.

I am always so impressed with the care my children receive at Southern Maine Pediatric Dentistry. Everyone is always so patient and gentle, and my kids talk about their appointment nonstop afterwards! Because the experience is easy and fun, it also translates to an easier and more fun experience taking care of their teeth at home!

Dr. Whitney is wonderful with kids! Each of her staff treats every patient as if they are the most important and my kids actually enjoyed going to the dentist because of the kind care they got there. After 15 years' worth of visits, I can honestly say that the attention we received at SMPD will be hard to match!

I take my child here and he always has an excellent experience. They run on time and are organized. It's a fun, warm and welcoming environment which is especially important when getting young kids comfortable going to the dentist. In routine cleaning appointments we are usually in and out in under 45 minutes. Even now during covid times, they have systems in place that make things run smoothly and efficiently. All the staff are knowledgeable, lovely and kind and make an effort to put the kids and parents at ease. We highly recommend this pediatric dentist office.
