Just wanted to share a special thanks to Diane, dental hygienist. My family and I have been patients at Southern Maine Dental for years and have always appreciated the staff. My teenage daughter went today for the first time without me today and I was pleasantly surprised to hear how well she related to Diane. Dental appointments are not something you typically enjoy but my daughter shared Diane genuinely engaged with her the entire appointment and left there saying she loved Diane. Applause to Diane for relating to a teenager and making her experience pleasant!

Consistently outstanding! Everyone here seems to have the perfect blend of professionalism (reassuring) and friendliness (making it a pleasant experience!) Everyone in my family goes, different ages and different personalities, and the staff adjusts and delights everyone. We are so thankful that we found this dental practice! I could not recommend them more highly!

I called and asked if they accepted Mainecare as coverage for their office. The receptionist- Nicole, in a very snobby tone replied, " oh, no we don't!" Then I asked if she knew anyone in the area that did. She said no. Then she told me an outright lie, which was that if I had Mainecare and I was over the age of 21, then I could not get dental coverage.

In the day and age when dental care is so important and so easy to obtain, it does not look very good for your office that you only cater to the rich, and are lying to clients when they call concerning their healthcare. Glad you have made so much money having your noses in the air. Maybe you should give back to the community at some point? I called back after I made an appointment at another dentist's office and told Nicole she was out of line. I hope she doesn't mislead any more people seeking dental care.

5 stars is not high enough! I was referred, (by my previous dentist of 10 years) for a dental emergency while my dentist-was on vacation to Dr Steed and Dr Keneally. When I contacted them they immediately provided me with an appointment and while there, discussed several options, financial and dental, on how they could help. When Dr Steed completed my work, I couldn't believe how, fast, professional and compassionate she was to another dentists patient.

I was so pleased with how my tooth felt and looked I knew her passion and quality was superior to my dentist. While checking out I met Nicole, Kim and Denise of the office staff-they shared the same level of caring and welcoming personalities as Dr Steed and her dental assistants. It has been a few years since my emergency appointment and my only regret is Southern Maine Dental was not my original dental office.!

I have referred many friends to them, all pleased with excellent dental care and very accommodating customer service. It may seem odd, but going to the dentist is now a pleasant experience!

Dr. Kenneally and his support staff are always professional and caring. They are very responsive in emergency situations, and have provided excellent care for both my husband and myself for many years.

Always a pleasure to see everyone in the office here. Dr Maria and her staff are outstanding! They take the time to listen and are genuinely friendly, personable and highly professional. Like most people, I could find more enjoyable ways to spend my time other than having dental work. Although at Dr. Maria's practice I actually enjoy my time there and always feel comfortable and confident with the quality of care. I aways look forward to my visit there!

Great dental clinic that is staffed with only the best. The entire staff is friendly and knowledgeable which makes the stressful process of having to go to a dentist a breeze. Bonus - Make sure to get the extra toothpaste with extra fluoride to help give your teeth an extra boost before the next visit.

Dr Kenneally offers top notch service and care. In the five or so years as a patient I have never had a traumatic or unpleasant experience. Prices are affordable even if you don't have dental insurance. The staff are welcoming and easy to work with. I trust that their technology up to date. I love that they don't push services upon you or shame you.

The office is clean, uncluttered and very comfortable. They have a great system for protecting the health and comfort of the patients. I truly feel I get the best care from Dr Kenneally's team.

I'm very, very grateful for the help I got from Dr. Steed! I had a big problem with a temporary crown when on vacation and she saved the day.

I seen another dentist in his office who made my top dentures which were to big right from the beginning. He had to file two teeth off both sides in the back and have had problems from the start, these dentures are to big for my mouth and the dentist I don't believe is no longer in his practice. I can't wear the dentures they hurt too much and haven't been able to eat with them from the start.

I no longer have dental insurance so can't afford to have fixed. I was told if I go to standish dental they will be able to help me at a lower cost to repair these dentures that cost me over 7,000 to have my teeth pulled etc at this Drs. Advise I. Wish I never listened to this dentist. If something seems wrong don't hestitste to step up and say something. I wish I did. Paying for it now.

I have never been a fan of dentists, so when my family moved to the area a few years ago, the search for dental care to was exhaustive. I found Dr. Kenneally's credentials and use of advanced technology in his practice, to be an indicator of how invested the office would be in providing superior dental care, and I haven't been disappointed. I willingly refer my friends to this practice and recommend it to anyone looking for professional dental services.

The office is well run and all the staff are supportive, respectful and friendly. I am very happy that they offer 7am appointments. the office is very clean and they are on time. Dr. Kenneally is great. I had to leave my previous dentist that I had for 20 years and I was quite nervous about finding the right dentist. Dr. Kenneally has been a great choice. He does a thorough exam. He is friendly and puts me at ease. (I have a dental fear)

Dr Kenneally was my dentist from when I was a small kid all the way through college. It should tell you enough that I loved going to the dentist as a kid. (I mean, what kid likes going to the dentist?) He stays up to date on the latest technology (very important to me!) and the hygienists and staff are all wonderful. Whenever I go, it's pretty quick and painless. If I still lived in Maine I would still be going there now!

I've been bouncing around to different dentists in the area over the last few years. Couldn't find one that made me comfortable. Finally, on the recommendation of a friend, I saw Dr Kenneally. Immediately loved the friendly staff and their easy going manner. Will certainly continue coming here.
