Honesty was rarely questioned 50 years ago when patients sought medical care. Now patients are (and should be) more cautious when it comes to accepting everything they're told. Our commitment to honesty is uncompromising, and we look forward to earning each and every patient's trust. Yes, sometimes we can restore small cavities in teeth without the need for anesthetic.
Not every old filling needs to be replaced. Not every tooth with a crack-line needs a crown. We are both very conservative when it comes to prescribing expensive treatments like crowns and onlays, and we try very hard to distinguish between what really needs treatment. Does an old filling need to be replaced because it is old?
We believe it is very important to stay on top of the best procedures and equipment currently available. Our office utilizes many hi-tech products to provide your dental care. We don't automatically believe everything manufacturers claim. Only after products and equipment have been scientifically proven through independent, unbiased lab tests do we consider incorporating them into our practice. Healthy Smile pays for this information from a well-respected independent lab that accepts no donations from manufacturers or supply companies.
We'll give you a complimentary paraffin hand treatment during your hygiene visit. We'll perform our dental work with the softest touch possible. We'll provide a warm towel after long procedures to help you feel clean, and use moisturizer for your lips during procedures to prevent them from drying out and cracking.
