John P. Goodman DDS

I have been going to Dr, Goodman for over 20 years. He and his staff are wonderful and provide excellent care. I have needed some fairly major dental care over the years, and I have been very happy with the care he and his staff have provided. I originally chose him at the recommendation of a co-worker, and his office was convenient to my office. I no longer go into the office, and I live 20 miles away, but I happily make the drive to continue to get my dental care from Dr. Goodman. I highly recommend him and his team.

Dr. Goodman and his staff were honestly incredible. I've never been to a dentist that's taken his time to talk me through recommendations, and had the best interest of the client in mind. I would absolutely recommend him! Probably the best dental experience I've ever had.

Dr. Goodman and his wonderful staff are amazing. The professional, personal experience they provide is top notch. My visit with Dr. Goodman was top notch! From the telephone call with the receptionist to the dental treatment and leaving, I received superb care. The facility was clean, had current technology, and Dr. Goodman explained everything to me while taking time to make a personal connection with me as a new patient. I was able to receive full care in one day.

I have been going to this office for approx 2 years now and absolutely love it. I had been going to the same dentist for roughly 20 years and decided maybe it was time to leave the pediatric office I was still using (I'm almost 30)! So I was nervous. But from the receptionists to the hygienists to Dr Goodman everyone has been so kind and friendly. They are also very flexible and easy to get ahold of. Love the office, hopefully I can go here for 20+ years!

$85 consultation was a joke! The dentist performed a 2 minute cursory review of my son's teeth and explained 2 types of dentures. No cost analysis was provided and no x-rays were taken! We were told we would need to see their oral surgeon, located at another dental office, to determine the type of dental work needed before the costs could be determined! In addition, the oral surgeon would charge another fee for time and x-rays!

Dr. Goodman and his staff are very capable and friendly. They are also very good with children.my daughter who is now 16 has been going to his office since before she started grade school. They seem to really care about their patients.they do little things to make our visits a little more pleasant. They also have extended hours during the week, so I can almost always get an appt after 5:00 and not have to leave work during the day. Would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a new dentist.

Dr. Goodman and his staff are wonderful! They are fast, professional, and polite. Finding a good dentist is extremely hard to do, so I was beyond lucky when a friend recommended Dr. Goodman. I have been going there almost two years, and they really are awesome! I highly recommend them.

Would you go to a dentist who missed 3 cavity's, 1 abcess, need for 2 root canals, and open infection under a crown resulting in a pulled tooth during your 3 month checkup and cleaning? of course they missed these same problems from earlier visits BUT RUN FROM THIS PRACTICE

We LOVE Dr Goodman and his whole staff! They are just like family to us! We love going in every 6 months to get our routine cleaning and catching up! We have been going to Dr Goodman's office for over 18 years! My kids have never been scared to go to the dentist because he's so gentle and personable! We highly recommend Dr. G for all of your dental needs!

A few years ago I had to switch my dentist due to relocation. I had a decent amount of nervousness, as I had had the same dentist my entire life to that point. My first visit with Dr Goodman and his staff was everything I had hoped for - very friendly, energetic staff, lots of smiles, and I got the feeling that I wasn't just a patient.but a person and they wanted to get to know me and make me feel comfortable and to help me make the best decisions for my oral health.

Add to that the email communications and text appointment reminders indicate they're connected with their patients & are interested in connecting more than just twice a year. I truly couldn't ask for anything more in a dentist!

Dr. Goodman is great. He is very professional and keeps your best interests in mind. He is very personable and spends time to talk to you. Unlike other dentists and doctors that do not want to talk to you and just come in and do their job and leave. It is a very nice office that makes you feel comfortable and want to come back. I highly recommend him Dr. Goodman as he is a professional and personable dentist that keeps you best interests in mind.

Dr. Goodman has been my regular dentist for a number of years now. The staff is professional, dedicated, knowledgeable and super friendly. From my personal experience, they've been able to get me in right away and when I show up for an appointment, they immediately take me back to my chair. I can't recall ever having to wait for an appointment. I've never had any issues with scheduling or with my bill like I did with my last dentist. I highly recommend Dr. Goodman and staff.

I've been coming to Dr. Goodman for more than 12 years now, and I'm sure he'd be more than willing to tell you about my very interesting first visit here when I was only 11 - just ask him about the girl who fell at the NKC Pool in 2000.; But there is a good reason why I've been coming to Dr. Goodman for so long - becuase he gives superb, quality care and genuinely cares about his patients.

From the moment I walked in all those years ago- litle, bewildered, in shock, in pain and scared about what was happening, he's been the greatest dentist anyone could ask for, no matter what brings me to his office. The staff here are warm, caring, and always on top of their duties, and always do a great job of working with your schedule, calling with appointment reminders, and overall, just being pleasant to be around.

The office is easy-going and quiet, even when they're busy. I've never had to wait for longer than 5 minutes to be called back for my appointments, and even then, Dr. Goodman and his team of hygienists work quickly and efficiently to get you in and out with the best results. If you're in the market and trying to find a new dentist who's got a great rapport, easy to talk to while being professional and courteous, Dr. Goodman is best guy for the job.

Sooooo does anyone else wake up every morning with a sore jaw/headache from clenching or grinding? Yeah, me too. Except for THIS morning. I googled all over the place looking for a dentist in KC who makes NTI devices and gets good reviews from other people, and Dr. Goodman fits the bill. If I didn't know I felt better just because of a piece of acrylic in my mouth at night, I'd think he took my jaw off, scraped off years of rust, and pumped in a lil WD40.

I have not had anything major that required gas so I can't speak for that type of operation but he did numb me when I had a filling done I believe and didn't feel anything. I have a few people from work that go there as well and said they couldn't feel anything when getting filings or crowns done. Not sure if there are other reviews on here of him but check out his website I have provided.

I do really like going here since I can do it on my lunch break and usually be out of there in 30 minutes from the time I walk in the door. They are also pretty quick about getting appointments compared to a few that I went to in the past. They are completely covered under my insurance as well and he tries to work with you on that. An example of that would I have only basic dental and it covers up to 1000 a year so after going for my initial xrays and first cleaning I had 3 fillings that I had to do. 2 of which were from previous fillings that started to crack and discolor slightly. Knowing what my insurance was he offered to just do the initial 2 that needed it quick, done that year and come back a couple months later when the calender year was up to get the 3rd fixed. I thought that was nice of him so I didn't have to pay the full amount out of pocket for the 3rd filling.
