I got some fillings done and a crown replaced. Good dentist, I don't have anything noteworthy to say which is a good thing for this stuff. Better than my experiences at other dentists.

My family goes to Dr. Vu and staff for our dental needs. We can always count on Dr. Vu providing honest and practical advice and care. For years Dr. Vu and staff have provided services to our special needs son with care and compassion. The office is very clean and Dr. Vu is a well regarded in the dental community for her service and teaching students and dentists. Dr. Vu's friendly interactions with patients help make patients more comfortable going to the dentist. This carries over to her staff as well.

I had a home accident last January and the smile my parents paid for (tons of dental work) was destroyed. I was upset, traumatized, my maxilla was broken along with part of me. Dr. Vu worked with me from the beginning starting with the paperwork for my insurance (health) she stuck threw with me for over a year. Dr. Vu and her awesome staff fixed and repaired my maxilla, my smile and part of myself.

I had been to numerous consultations where the attitude was more of "cookie cutter" deal. Get in, get out. This office was full of empathy, and kindness. I love my dentist she's the bomb! Thank you Dr. Vu and Bobbie.xoxo

Dr. Vu and Bobbie are absolutely awesome! It had been a long time since I had been to a dentist, so naturally I was a bit fearful. They were both great at making me comfortable and putting my mind at ease, as well as thorough in explaining everything. I would highly recommend this dentist's office.

I am a long-term customer, since Dr Vu started in this office. Her work is superb, the hygienists, staff, technicians are all equally good at what they do. They are personable and warm, but in truth, its all about the teeth, my teeth, and they are always supportive, even if my flossing is hit or miss. Coaching if you will. I see them for regular cleanings and check-ups.

They have fixed failing crowns for me, installed at least one from scratch when a deeply filled tooth cracked, actually filled a cavity once (rare, thankfully) and do the cleaning and maintenance with care and kindness. I drive down from Oakland for my appointments, now that I'm retired. A good dentist is good to know and this office is worth the drive!

Dr. Vu is so professional and gentle for folks who are a bit terrified of dentists. Her staff is also very professional. Great dental experience!

I have been a patient of Dr. Vu for over 4 years now. Every time i come in for an appointment, i never have to wait. They have always run on time. I never feel rushed through my cleaning. Dr Vu takes her time and makes sure my teeth are all nice and clean, every time! The staff is super friendly and very helpful from the assistants to front office.

I have had treatment recently. Which were some fillings and a crown i needed. The front office explained the treatment cost thoroughly from beginning to end to ensure i was comfortable and understood the cost side of it and what my portion was. During the actual treatment appointment Dr. Vu was amazing! She has a steady hand, i literally didn't feel a thing!

Not even the shot! And the assistants are very knowledgeable they too were very helpful to make sure i was comfortable throughout. The appointment was over before i knew it : overall Dr Vu and her office are great all around. I wouldn't trust anyone else with my dental health!

My daughter and I enjoy going to Dr. Vu's dental practice. We have been patient's for several years now. She and her team have a special way of making you feel at ease. like you're spending time with a good friend or family, rather than having dental work done. Needless to say, our visits have always been comfortable and positive experiences. Dr. Vu strives to stay current with all the latest breakthroughs in dentistry.

Her skill set is advanced. She's knowledgeable, practical, & comical (in a good way). However, most importantly, magical with her tiny hands. Seriously! She gives the best pain free injections I've ever experienced. My 6yr old daughter would agree! She values your time and stays on target to complete your treatment. Her office works with most insurances and is adept in working through them all.

The building is very accessible from the street with plenty of on site parking. Dentistry doesn't have to be stressful or painful. I highly recommend Dr. Vu and her team. I promise you'll find your "forever home."

They scraped my mouth for a test that should have resulted in two days. I didn't get a call until 2 weeks later just to be told they didn't have a result for the original concern because "they guess they've updated they way they process the test" and tested me for CANCER instead. Save yourself time and find a dentist that truly strives for excellence. This is NOT the place!

Great, fun, excellent dentist with an awesome team. They made my teeth healthier and more enjoyable to visit a dental office. Would definitely recommend.

I love their service. Dr. Vu is always nice and professional. They make visiting the dentist fun. They are super helpful to remind you of your appt and provide such amazing personalized service.

Sunnyvale office is newly renovated and it is great. Bright and clean. Also, dr Vu is amazing in nature and friendly. She is good at what she does and smart. Dr Chou is her new associate and she is smart and nice. Most importantly this office has modern technology.

Came here because I had a terrible tooth ache. I had been putting off going to the dentist in general so when the pain got really bad i knew it was time to get in. Saw the reviews on here were great so i thought id try it out. When i called i spoke to Jessica, the front office coordinator. She was very nice and assured me im in good hands. Got me in right away.

She checked my insurance and let me know about my coverage before I came in so there were no suprises ahout what my copay would be. When I went in, the assistant took some x-rays she was quick so it made taking the x-rays easy. Afterwards the doctor came in and greeted me with a welcoming smile. She was very sympathetic to my situation, after she reviewed my xrays she saw the issue right away, told me I needed a root canal and crown.

I freaked out cause I'm kinda nervous when it comes to having work done on my teeth but she had a great sense of humor to ease my anxiety and explained everything to help me understand the treatment. Thankfully they were able to get me in the very next day to have my work done. Sure enough as soon as I sat down in the chair, I was sweating and nervous as all heck!

But Dr. VU talked me through the injection, I didn't even feel it! I even ended up falling asleep while having the work done. That's how great Dr. Vu is! She made it as comfortable for me as possible and know that the work is done I feel 10 times better. I have to say I found my new dentist!

My family has gone to Dr. Vu since she took over Dr. Malzone's practice many years ago. Of course, I was a bit nervous about a new dentist but I have to say, Dr. Vu put us all at ease and she is an amazingly talented dentist. Being younger than dentists I've been to in the past, she's well-versed in the newer technologies and procedures. She's done cleanings, fillings, a veneer and even a crown or two for me and I'm very pleased with the results.

My daughter actually enjoys going to Dr. Vu's as she can really relate to children of all ages. Her staff is outstanding and her office runs on time--a huge plus when you're coming in during your lunch hour. If you're looking for a new dentist, your search is over.

I have been a patient of Dr. Vu for many years and I recommend her and her office for all things dental. I referred one of my pals to her and he's been her patient ever since. She and her team are thorough, professional, and bring empathy and human kindness to work every morning. They are never in a hurry, never too busy to focus on their patient.

Its all about your teeth. They do everything they can and should do, very well, and they encourage you to do the right things too, without, as my people say, laying a trip on you. You're only at the dentist, typically, twice a year, for an hour. The other 180+ days its all on you. You need a partner, someone who's got your back (teeth). No drama. Dr Vu and her team are those people. She's serious, she gives away tooth brushes on Halloween. I've broken a crown and she replaced it.

The new one works great. I had a cavity, once, and she said, "Bill, how does an old man get a cavity?" I first met Dr Vu when she took over Dr Malzone's practice and he set a very high standard. But he was a dentist, a human, and I lost nothing in the transition. She's as good, maybe better. And I've been going to that office since I decided I needed a new dentist back in, oh, probably, 1973. 40 years.

In that time I've changed doctors, several times, changed auto maintenance providers several times, changed eye doctors until I found a good one, then changed again when he retired, until I found another good one. Dr. Vu is a good one.

Dr. Vu is amazing! I moved to the bay area a year ago, and had a terrible experience with a different dentist. I looked around on yelp, and found the great recommendations. They are not lying! She is so nice, and is constantly making sure you are comfortable and not in pain. She has no issue explaining things, which is good because I want to know everything. The receptionist, Teresa, is very helpful.

First.they never answer the phone. They call back a whiiiiiile later. Second, Never go for a FREE emergency consultation because she does not come up with feaseble solutions. She kept saying that I have had pain for month and this is not true. She did not gave me antibiotics for an infected molar. I had to ask for it and then I got a prescription.

I emailed her to send my X-Ray but never got an answer from her. When I called the office to send the only X ray she took her assistant asked for $ 54.00. Yes, I know it is unbelievable. I payed for 4 X rays 30.00 at UCSF dental school yesterday. My experience with her was frustrating.

Brought my 2 year old here for her 1st dental visit. We were welcomed into the reception area by a very friendly receptionist who knew this was my daughters first visit. She spoke to my daughter directly welcoming her. Dr. Vu is also a mother and knew exactly how to handle my crying, scared daughter. She sat on my lap for her exam and cleaning. Dr. Vu is very nice, sympathetic, caring and speaks perfect english.

While there were no children's toys in the waiting area, nor exam room, my daughter was proudly presented with 2 stickers, toothbrush and a toy! Wish I had the same dental plan as my daughter I would dump Western Dental and go to this small office any day.

I've been going to Dr. Vu's office since we moved to San Jose in 2006. Dr. Vu is a great professional and I'm pretty happy I chose her practice. I had a root canal (that was previously half-way done by another dentist) and with the sedation technique, it was almost pain free.

I have been coming to Dr. Vu since she took over this practice several years ago. I was skeptical at first, since I had been with Dr. Malzone my entire life, but she really impressed me. Dr. Vu and staff are fantastic, professional, skilled, and kind. They make your experience a friendly and painless one. Their office is always neat and welcoming.

I can't recommend Dr. Vu highly enough. She is extremely knowledgeable and a great patient advocate. I live in Palo Alto, but I drive all the way to San Jose to visit Dr. Vu and her team. They are THAT good.

This is a woman owned practice that gives great care, follow up and connection. Dr. Thien Vu has brought DH and I through some trickier dental care and intervention. I live in fear of dental pain and she has managed to make use of different approaches effectively - sedation dentistry, nitrous, relaxation guidance, distraction and plain old coaching. DH on the other hand has high pain threshold but aging teeth - she has taken him through an involved plan that has transitioned him to the use of partials while saving as many teeth as possible.

We like the friendliness as well as the professional care. They are more than flexible and patient. This is important with Valley schedules and crises. Dr. Vu just added a new dentist, Dr. Patel who also seems to fall in line with the commitment to excellence of this practice. They seem to do the range of dentistry - implants, whitening, cleaning, crowns, veneers, cosmetic.we are very happy here.
