Dr Bauer is a wonderful doctor. He took ample time to determine my problem and explain how he would proceed. He was able fit me into his tight schedule, filling my tooth the same day. I am so very pleased with Dr. Bauer's expertise and professionalism! Dr. Bauer applied bonding today and I am so pleased! He explained in detail how he would proceed and I was felt very assured that I would be happy with the results. And I am! My teeth look great and I couldn't be happier! Thanks Dr. Bauer!

My daughter is a student at OSU and needed seen quickly. Allison was so polite and accommodating. Even though they were operating on one dentist, they squeezed her in the same day! Dr. Bauer made her feel comfortable and he devised a plan of action for her. I highly recommend this office. They are #1 in my book!

I have been coming to this practice for the last 45 years at the recommendation of a fellow Ohio Department of Health employee. Dr. Robt. C. Hinkle owned the practice at that time. Ownership and leadership due to death and retirement have changed over the years. However, personalized, patient centered, high quality dental care and services has remained constant. No complaints, nothing but good things to say about the practice.

Great experience. Very kind staff. I appreciate a dentist that doesn't push his wants on his clients. He was very informative and allowed me to express what I wanted. I felt heard and in the medical/dental field, I feel sometimes I don't always get that, so I was very happy and pleased with my first visit! I have found my dentist

Everyone at this office, from the dental hygienist to registration is always so helpful and friendly. Big shout out to Paige because she knew I was very nervous and she took the time out to explain everything every step of the way. Dr. Bauer is so nice as well and came up with a plan that is doable. Definitely would recommend.

Using a new dental office and it's personal is always an unknown risk. Beginning my new dental experience with Schumacher & Bauer was wonderful! The staff was thoughtful and more than competent. The facility's equipment in new, up- to-date, easy to work with. If I'd known about this practice 4 years ago, I would have been knocking the door down before my furniture arrived from Denver!

Everyone I have interacted with there is so friendly and so nice. I have a lot of dentist anxiety and they made me feel very comfortable and took the time to answer my questions. The procedure went very smoothly and they were very accommodating of my needs. I will continue to visit this dentist. Happy customer over here!

I was given a very aggressive treatment plan from my dentist in Chicago and was hesitant to move forward with the recommendations. My friend, Mary B. who works with Dr. Bauer, recommended that I reach out to him for his input. I sent the recommended treatment plan and x-rays to Dr. Bauer. He reviewed everything and offered less aggressive options.
I sought out an in person second opinion, per his advice, and Dr. Bauer's recommendations were confirmed! The endodontist stated that "he was one smart dentist!" I can't thank Dr. Bauer and Mary B. enough for saving my teeth and my pocketbook! Thank you so much!

I love Dr. Bauer and his staff! I switched a couple years ago, per recommendation from a few close friends, and I am so happy I did! The office is very nice with plenty of parking in a convenient location across from Riverside Hospital. I am about to finish my Invisalign treatment with amazing results! Dr. Bauer really listened when I had concerns about my teeth not being where I wanted, so he ordered more trays for me (3 months worth)! I could not be happier! Plus, they have great hours so I can go in before or after work (call for the times; I think they are wrong on Yelp). I highly recommend!

I have visited Schumacher and Bauer's (formerly Rummer and Schumacher) State Street office on several occasions and have had very good experiences. Dr. Bauer is an excellent dentist. He has a calming presence and, although he is young, he really shows his mastery over what he does and demonstrates his experience. I appreciate that every time you visit him, he describes exactly what is going on in your mouth, what plan of action he intends to take, and what you will need to do in the future.
He is very detail-oriented and precise in this description, but he delivers this information in a calming and encouraging manner. The office is very nice and the staff is pleasant.
