Services
1. Chewing: Do not chew hard foods on the restorations for 24 hours from the time they were cemented. The cement must mature for about 24 hours to have optimum strength. 3. Aggressive chewing: Do not chew ice or other hard objects. Avoid chewing very sticky foods such as hard tack candies because they can remove restorations.
You have just had some teeth prepared for porcelain veneers. The teeth have received plastic temporary restorations to allow you to carry on your life in a normal manner while teh new veneers are made. Temporary veneers are attached only slightly to the underlying teeth so they can be removed easily.
Do not drink or eat hot foods today, as you may dissolve or loosen the healing blood clot. Eat cool, soft, nutritious foods today. Do not "suck" on the wound site for the next few days. You may disturb the blood clot, causing bleeding, slow healing, and/or that bone pain often called a "dry socket.". Do not rinse today. Tomorrow you may lightly with either warm water and a pinch of salt, or Listerine and warm water.

I was initially recommended to Dr Giglio by a colleague of mine. I couldn't be happier with the service I've got there. Everyone at the office is always so warm and inviting and they are super easy to work with scheduling wise. As someone who normally pretty nervous about seeing the dentist, he takes the time to explain everything. I ended up moving a couple of years ago, but still make the trek from Chelmsford to Watertown specifically to see him. I can't recommend him enough

I don't recommend Dr Giglio and won't be going back. The first appointment is broken out into 2 separate visits. If you just need a cleaning, you're out of luck on the 1st visit. You'll need to take more time out of work to go back for routine cleaning. They spent over an hour taking molds and Xrays of every angle of my mouth. I needed replacement invisalign trays (I wear mine as a retainer at night so my teeth don't move back).
I made it clear to hygenist that I needed a new retainer and she assured me that it was all included. As I found out on 2nd visit a month later, Dr Giglio uses the molds he took, as a model?, to show you what's wrong with your mouth/teeth. They said I'd have to go back to get new molds taken again? There's nothing wrong with my teeth, no cavities.
So how they're coming up with a pre-assessment bill of $800, and talking to me about a payment plan, is beyond me. Now, I have to wait another 6 months (for next cleaning with my New dentist), to get a replacement retainer made. My teeth have already started shifting from lack of wearing my retainer (because it's falling apart). Perhaps the staffs' time could be better spent listening to the actual concerns of patients, instead of inventing $800 of things that aren't really wrong with my teeth.
Maybe better approach is to take time over multiple visits to build trust with brand new patients, instead of trying to get $800 out of you (on 1st visit) for things that don't need to be fixed.

Dr. Giglio is the best. He is very knowledgeable, thorough concerned about the client and has a nice sense of humor my husband and I would recommend him as he is the best. His office staff and hygienists are outstanding as well. Office staff can make or break a practice everyone there is right on top of everything, they are friendly and nice. The best dentist and staff ever!

Dr. Giglio is the best dentist I have ever been to. He explained everything thoroughly, and was able to help re-align my bite so that I was not experiencing jaw pain, sensitivity, or discomfort any more. I also sought a second opinion from him regarding my gums; a previous dentist had recommended thousands of dollars of work and Dr. Giglio said it was not necessary. He is pleasant, kind, and extremely skilled at what he does.

Dr. Giglio is hands down, the best dentist I've ever been to! Takes his time explaining everything and makes sure you fully understand each procedure before he does it. His staff is also just amazing. Everyone is so friendly and sweet. If you need a dentist, I have already recommended him to several people, and will continue to do so.

Dr Giglio is an amazing dentist and the entire office is awesome. Everything is super up-to-date, it's a friendly atmosphere, and they make it so easy. Reception is organized, the staff remembers you and it makes a normally terrible experience easy. I just had a cavity filled and it was the simplest experience of my life. I highly highly recommend Dr Giglio!

I don't recommend this dentist. Beware of the initial patient check-up, when he performs unnecessary procedures that you'll end up paying out-of-pocket for. I went there for a check-up and had a filling that fell out, but he never even addressed the issue. Instead, he was more concerned about all these other shenanigans such as doing teeth molds and an "ultrasound." The whole experience was very bizarre and unlike any other visit I've had to any other dentist.
He says he's doing a through check-up but the real point is to charge you for these extras that most dentists wouldn't even consider doing for a patient with healthy, normal teeth, which I have. If you do decide to go to Dr. Giglio, ask questions about what your insurance will cover. He said my out-of-pocket costs would be "only" around $300. And then I left with my filling still untreated! Avoid at all costs if you care about your teeth.

I couldn't recommend anyone any higher than Giglio and his staff. They took me in as a new patient on an emergency visit and treated me as if I was a client for 20 years. Many dentist office use a free or cheap cleaning as a hook to sell you more work that you don't need.this place is the exact opposite.professional, friendly, no nonsense and very thorough. I left my visit knowing exactly what I needed to do to ensure my short term and long term health of my mouth and gums. GO TO THIS DENTIST

This review should be considered by anyone that lives in Waltham, and close by. Office & Staff: The office of Doctor Giglio is clean and a very pleasant place to be. Great staff and most of all friendly and professional The Doctor: Dr. Giglio is friendly, professional and will NOT give you the run around. I felt respected, treated with care and I was confident since he was explaining to me every step of the way.
The extra mile: Everyone at the office is always very nice, but in one occasion they went the extra mile. I called on a Monday morning at 8, I had two appointments scheduled for the same day for two different issues. I cannot thank them enough. If you need a dentist call them, try them out; based on my experience you will not look elsewhere.

Great Dentist. 2nd best dentist I have ever been to. The best overall had a laser drill that didn't need novacain. But this guy is great, personable, talks you through everything, doesn't push any procedure on you. I found him via a friends recommendation, I recommended him to my wife, I recommend him to you. The hygienists are great too.

Dr. Giglio and the rest of the staff at his office have been really great since I became a patient earlier this year. The most thorough new patient exam I've ever received -- they even used a little sonogram thingy to listen to my jaw opening and closing, which matters when you have TMJ like me -- and great followup service. I have pretty messed up teeth, and care a lot about my dental health provider. Maybe that makes me a nerd, but I'm a nerd with very well-done fillings.
