A pediatric dentist is a specialist who has two or three years of extra training after dental school, to be able to provide the most up-to-date and thorough treatment for a wide variety of children's dental problems including nursing bottle decay, tooth decay, traumatic injuries, and growth and developmental problems. They are trained and qualified to treat special patients who may have emotional, physical or mental handicaps. An orthodontist is a specialist who has two or three years of extra training after dental school to be able to diagnose, prevent and treat dental and facial irregularities.
Services
Our dental hygienists preform many of the preventive treatments in our office. They have extensive training working with children, are very patient and will help your child feel comfortable during their visit. Jennifer is a great dental hygienist after having several years experience as a dental assistant.
Payment for initial examination is due at the time of service. For your convenience, we accept the following methods of payment: credit cards, check, dental insurance. We accept all third-party (dental insurance) programs that allow freedom of choice in the selection of dental provider. Please check with your insurance company to make sure they allow you to choose your provider. Our insurance coordinator will be glad to help you with predetermination of benefits once treatment required has been established.
You probably get mellow when you are tired, however, children react exactly the opposite: they get cranky when they are tired. On young children (even the ones with the nicest dispositions), appointments at the end of the day often result in tears and sad faces. Please, help us make the best of your child's appointment, make your appointment in the morning.
Our office is conveniently located in the center of Somerset County, NJ, a few blocks from Route 22, and Rt 287. These roads make us easily accesible from Bridgewater, Warren, Hillsborough, Greenbrook, Branchburg and surrounding areas. Union Avenue is Route 28 and runs parallel to Route 22, just a few blocks South of it.

Both of my girls are patients at Comprehensive pediatric, I am extremely thankful for their patience with a screaming 2 year old, by the end of the visit she was apprehensive but no longer screaming at the top of her lungs. My oldest loves everyone at the office, nothing but great experiences for the past 4 years.

First time here with my 3 year old! Both Hygienist and Doctor were very nice, professional and compassionate. My son had a great experience, he was so happy to get stickers for being a good patient. He let both, hygienist and Doctor, do the examination, cleaning and fluoride. Got samples of products and all my questions were answered.

My four year old son loved the dentist and this is a first! They talked to him through every little thing they were going to do and he listened well. He didn't like the dentist before we came here and now he's content with it and has no issue going to an appointment. It was our first time there and I loved it for him!

Dr Duprat and staff are some of the loveliest, gentle and engaging professionals you will meet. They truly care about their patients. The office is organized and well run. We have been using this office for over 4 years and rarely have to wait for our appointment. They follow all of the safety guidelines to keep the staff and patients safe. We had an amazing first visit to CPD! The staff were all very kind, patient, gentle and knowledgeable. They took their time with my son whom has had terrible dental anxiety in the past. He had 4 baby teeth extracted during his visit with no issue! His procedure went smoothly and stress free! We will continue to go to CPD for all his dental needs in the future.
