Our initial orthodontic evaluation assesses whether or not a problem exists and immediately we will have in mind some treatment modalities based on what we see at that time based on our special knowledge and experience. We would then advise of you of the orthodontic problem, approximate treatment time and costs, as well as whether to go further with orthodontic records.
We will help you succeed, but we must work together to get to the finish line. Wearing your appliances and elastics (rubber bands) properly, keeping teeth and gums healthy, and avoiding the hard, sticky, and chewy foods that break your hardware will get you there quickest, then we all win! In general, comprehensive treatment takes 18 to 24 months.
Your teeth and bones don't stop changing after your braces come off. In fact, people that have had bad bites that were corrected are more likely to change than people who naturally had good bites. The most significant changes can occur within the first year as it takes about nine months for your teeth, gums, and bones to get "used" to this new position.
Modern technology and higher expectations for esthetics have led to the development of far less noticeable corrective appliances. Three such appliances include Invisalign, "Clear" Braces, and Lingual Appliances. All three have their advantages and limitations. The best known and widely used is Invisalign.

I must say I absolutely love this place! I came here when I needed braces 15 years ago and they did a wonderful job, HAD I ONLY WORN MY DAMN RETAINERS! Anyway, my stepdaughter needed braces and this was the first place that came to mind! They're awesome personable people and have worked around my schedule when needed. My other 2 kids will definitely be coming here too when they're older and ready for braces!
