Barotz Dental

This doctor Barotz is aggressive when he gets in your mouth. Pulling my lips all over the place and acting deranged when he is doing a task. He talks a million miles a minuto and idk I mean he seems like a smart guy but his vibes are kind of unhinged. I am just laying there in the chair like holy guacamole and he is out here pulling my mouth so hard like he is trying to start a lawnmower. The hygienists are amazing. The prices are higher than the kids in boulder and I just don't know if I can return to this place. at least there is a Starbucks next door

I wish I had never had dental work done here. Dr. Barotz tries to sell you other things you don't want. so watch out! He fires hygienists that recommend products other than what he makes money on.? More importantly, he took $10k from me for a few veneers that look like!@#$% and didn't adhere. How many times do you need to go back to a dentist for help re: their shoddy dentistry? My money is gone. My veneer teeth are noticeably different shades. I've resorted to superglue to keep the things on. I'm so upset I cry about his unkept promises.

This is a zero-star review because my front tooth is a completely different color and the tooth next to the off-colored one is huge and over-sized. I wanted four front veneers. Situation: I had a small chip on a front tooth and an implant on the other front one. I went to Dr. Barotz to get veneers on my FOUR front teeth. I just wanted my teeth to all be the same color and the chip not to show.

Tooth ONE - The permanent veneer fell off at least three times requiring more visits to his office. After so many tries and failures, I used super glue to keep it on. no joke. After more visits to the office, he had a technician 3D print a new one that now looks good and has stayed on. Tooth TWO - The veneer is oversized and sticks out in an odd way. But, hey, at least it stayed on.

It still sticks out and goes over my upper gum in an unnatural way. Tooth THREE - My front tooth is an odd dark color that other people notice. I get comments on it. This tooth is why I'm writing this review. Tooth FOUR - No problems yet. Every time I get a comment on the odd color of my front tooth, I will write another review. Thank you so much, Dr. Barotz for having me pay over 10 grand for a worse smile.

Dr. Hakim and the staff have seen me for a lot of work over the last 3 years and they're very caring and compassionate about my crooked, half-crowned mouth. They're also great about pricing. They've taken their previous work on a tooth into account if a more extensive treatment ended up being necessary later. With my junkyard teeth I've appreciated their flexibility very much. Thank you for taking great care of my luxury bones!

I had a wonderful experience at Dr Barotz dental office. The staff are friendly and welcoming. Was scared to death in anticipation of pain during my recent tooth extraction.but Dr Barotz just professionally and smoothly teased the tooth out. I felt no pain as compared to my past experience. Thumbs up to you Dr B!

Gabby did a great job on my cleaning felt no pain and she kept checking in on me making sure I was okay the whole time. Dr Hakim did my exam he was great and answered all my questions!

Doctors Barotz and Hakim were friendly and informative while guiding me through my procedure, as were the whole staff. Definitely my new provider for regular care.

Dr Hakim rocks! He did LANAP yesterday, a gum disease laser therapy that I'd not heard of before, but after getting educated opted to try as an alternative to the extractions and traditional gum surgery advised elsewhere. He did some other mouth clean-up stuff as well, everything with little discomfort during or after. While it will take a while to see full results I am very pleased with this initial phase. He and practice manager Cheryl are the best. I highly recommend Dr Hakim!

Another great experience from Dr. Barotz and his team. I can feel that they truly care about my health and always make me feel very comfortable. I wouldn't go anywhere else. Thank you too Cheryl for your help.

If you have to go get some dental work done, this is the place! Sheryl is one of the most personable and caring people that works in the front. Gabby is an amazibg and excellet hygienist. She really made me feel a lot more comfortable with my poor hygiene situation. Thanks to them I also was able to help out my boyfriend with treatment!

My dental care with Barotz Dental has been exemplary. The staff nas welcoming and attentive to my son and me. f met with Dr. BaroLz in a timely manner. After Discussing my needs, he thoroughly explained my treaLment options. Based on his concern regarding my current medication, He and I agreed to have a bridge rather than risxfuf '-J an implant which might have future complications.

I was then introduced to Dr. Hakim and his associates. They were very personabLe, ac and made me feel at ease. Dr. Hakim was responsible for fabricating my bridge. He guided me through the entire process. His knowledge, expertise and patience made for a fascinating learning experience. The bridge was implanted within an hour and was a perfect f it. I was able to eat later t, hat. day.

I have worked with Barotz Dental for quite a few years and it has been nothing but a pleasure. Their staff is always very responsive, easy to work with, and friendly. I'd suggest checking them out if you reside around the Denver area!

I had my first cleaning at Barotz Dental last week and Gabby the hygienist was not only very efficient and thorough but also very gentle. The entire staff was professional and made me feel comfortable throughout my entire experience. I am a new customer and I have to say, from my very 1st appt the treatment I received from Br. Barotz and his staff was first class. My treatment plan was complex. The details of the procedure and every question and concern I had was addressed thoroughly. Dr. Barotz went above and beyond any of my expectations and I will always remember the care he provided. My experience at Barotz Dental was great in every way. Safety and personal attention are clearly important to their office. From the employee who brought me in, to the staff who took x rays to Dr. Barotz himself, everyone was professional and personable. My experience at the office itself was good--the dentist was thorough and I liked the hygienist as well. HOWEVER. Before my appointment, I was assured over the phone that I needed to pay up front but that my insurance would repay all of it. I'm not an insurance expert, and believed that. They repeatedly told me "100% reimbursement" without making sure I knew that 100% as deemed by the insurance company is likely very different than the office's charges to me.

They upsold me on services using this language, and I came out being personally responsible for a much larger bill than expected. I called and was told I would receive a call back. I never did (it's been weeks), nor did I receive a response to my previous email, even the courtesy of telling me that they couldn't do anything. So great service, if you ignore all the misleading customer service and payment language. If they'd been clear and open communicators from the beginning, I could've made an informed decision and would have otherwise enjoyed my experience.

I love this dentist office. All of staff are nice and helpful they listen to your wants and needs. Dr. Barotz great he knows exactly what he's doing and he doesn't give you what you don't need.

I've been going to Barotz Dental for 5 years now and the service is consistently fantastic. The staff is warm, welcoming, and accommodating. The dentistry and orthopedic work is top notch. I'm moving to Utah tomorrow and had my last cleaning appointment today. I will miss Dr. Barotz, Amber and all the incredible people who helped make my smile beautiful. Thank you for everything!

I paid a lot of money to "Dr" Barotz. I'm not happy with the cosmetic work. I had my front 4 teeth done by him but he tried to get me to do 10 teeth. Thank goodness I didn't do what he heavily suggested so that I'd get a discount. Please don't believe the pictures he makes up to show you ( My front teeth are completely different colors now). That being said, he hires amazing people. His staff are so great. if they tell you too much tho they'll be fired ASAP.

I cannot believe I have to post this. but I guess Covid has made some people greedy. I am in pain. I went to see Barotz and he charged me 700 for grinding my teeth for 5 minutes - telling me that the pain was about my bite. YES YOU READ IT CORRECTLY 190 for review and 2 x rays ad 500 for putting the drill on my mouth for 5 MINUTES.I paid him 20K last year (CASH) FOR veneers and implant and he did not have any consideration for my past payment or treat this new appointment as a post op or follow up, instead I believe he is trying to make up the money he lost for Covid.

I beg you look up another dentist that does not need to make one person's salary in 1/2 hour. I am still in excruciating pain. I went to another dentist this morning with all the high tech equipment and 1/4 of the price. and he identified my problem SOMETHING BAROTZ FAILED TO DO. I am ashamed of him. I used to think he cared about me, but I guess Covid and the need for money is changing people.

I've been visiting Dr. Barotz for a few years now. From day one, he and his team have welcomed me with open hearts and arms. The atmosphere is very comfortable and inviting - from juices and snacks in the waiting area, to a warm neck roll and blanket (if needed), as you lay in the dental chair. The dr. Is not only compassionate, but also very fair and honest.

He and his team truly care about providing a pleasant experience (as best they can), but also make themselves available whenever you need them. I've been to several dentists in the past, but none of them compare to this group of people.

He is the WORST dentist EVER! I got sucked into promises and spent thousands of dollars until another dentist had to fixed what he did wrong! I see his pathetic TV commercials (that I'm sure he used my money for) and just want to throw up! If ANYBODY is considering going to his office PLEASE CONTACT ME so I can warn you about this guy! I have proof he should NEVER practice dentistry! Had he not taken THOUSANDS AND THOUSANDS from me, I would have gladly spent it and more to put him out of business! Couldn't post this with picking a star and is the ONLY reason he got ONE

Barotz Dental offers the finest dental care I've ever experienced. From booking your appointment with the front office staff to the great care and the follow up phone call that evening, the whole experience you get with Barotz Dental is well worth visiting them for. Dr. Barotz is among the best in his field and is work is impeccable. On a recent visit, I had Dr. Nguyen and Jay work on my teeth and both were wonderful. Jay was able to do all of my work in one in-office visit rather than sending out to a lab and having me come back for a second appointment. He's really fantastic, and Dr. Nguyen was so helpful with all the questions I had about my teeth. Highly recommended; you get premium dental care at Barotz Dental and that's one of the few things in life you should never settle for less with!

It's been a couple of years since I stopped seeing them, but my experience with them still really bothers me. I felt like I was not a patient, but a customer, a feeling that I've never experienced with a medical professional before. In the 2 years that I went to this office, they tried to sell me: a water flosser, expensive fluoride treatments, TMJ treatment for migraines, which I don't have and, the last straw, sleep apnea testing.

I felt like they learned about another profit center every few months and then tried to sell it to anyone who walked in the door. Just not what you want when you go to a medical professional. As I said, it still bothers me that they do this to their patients.

Dr. B, Cheryl (& team) and J couldn't have been any more professional. I first came in with immediate need in fixing an old veneer that had broken off in pieces- no option of "piecing back on". As insecure and disfigured as I felt, Dr. B smiled and assured me that he could fix me right up- he even talked to me like a normal person to help relax me l. Initially, he was only about my comfort and satisfaction as I sat in his chair attempting to repair my one broken veneer.

After regaining my beautiful smile, he took the time to give me my future options for all four of my veneers. At no point did I feel obliged or pressured, which I had felt at my previous dentist. He LEGIT gave me options for the future of my smile. I felt confident in his suggestions and followed through with the improvements he suggested. THANK GOODNESS I WENT TO HIM!

My veneers are now flawless, shaped appropriately to my mouth and perfect. This team does amazing work and truly cares about you and THEN your mouth. I couldn't recommend Dr. B, J and Cheryl more! At least go in for a consultation. I wish I did it sooner! They rock.

I want to start by saying I am not a fan of spending this kind of time too make a review but I had created a review on a local review site and see that this office had somehow had my review removed. As a medical professional, I believe people making a choice for a dentist or doctor should have all facts and information available to them when making the decision to visit the provider.

Almost went to this as we don't have many good options in Cheyenne. After my previous dentist retired, I went to the new dentist in his practice and absolutely hated him, he was horrible. I began looking for a new dentist in the Denver area and found this office and attempted to make an appointment. The woman on the phone (Sherrie?) was flip and condescending, but I didn't want that to turn me from what could be a good dentist - more importantly I need a good hygienist.

First this office wanted me to pay $50 to make an appointment. I understand wanting patients to keep appointments, but the explanation didn't sit well with me. I decided to hold off and do some checking on references/reviews. This office seems to have a reputation as a car salesman, money-first business. This set off a bit of a red flag, so I checked a little more and discovered that the dentist here has had a few issues with the state Dental Agency, with a history of improper treatment and recently gave medication to a patient who had a medical condition that this medication could have resulted in serious consequences, possibly death. Barotz dental truely made me feel like this was a dental practice I did not dread going to. The staff was incredibly polite and warm and the doctor was the same. The most important thing for me was that it was a very comfortable experience. Going to the dentist stresses me out but I going here is something I can definitely manage and appreciate. Other people seemed to believe this stuff was supposed to be super cheap. However the amazing services and great results speak for themselves. Thanks so much!

UPDATE: The tooth did not last me several years, it fell out after less than a year while I was eating a tortilla chip! (I treat my teeth with upmost care and hard don't even bite into apples) He claimed he would replace it for 1k! Low and behold I got a new one done that matches my teeth perfectly now and (the exact service btw) even got partially covered by my same dental insurance and cost me $350 out of pocket.

Funny what a second opinion does! Also, I left in what appeared as good good spirits because what could I do? Tell them to do it again after it was done? I tried to tell myself everything was fine. I even said in the chair the shade looked too dark and he talked me out of changing it to a lighter shade. Like I said in my previous review, the team was very friendly but I was not satisfied with the end result after several people told me after I left it looked stained too dark.

Sad to see so many bad reviews and have to disagree with them all completely. I had a wonderful experience with Cheryl, Dr Barotz and the entire staff. And I do not agree that he is money hungry or over priced in the least. What you CAN expect is a caring, friendly staff and reasonably priced procedures. I have pretty severe anxiety when it comes to needles and dental procedures and Dr Barotz offered me a small 'sedation' to help calm my nerves at no extra cost - something other practices have charges me extra for in the past. I'm very pleased with the service and can guarantee I will be returning in the future.

A fancy place. The staff is really nice and considerate always remembers your name and details about you. The docs bedside manner is a little rough, but in the end it does good job.

I can't imagine having a worse experience here. The office was beautiful and everyone was very friendly, but Dr. Barotz was terrible. I have a high pain tolerance, but his poking and prodding inside of my mouth during the exam was so aggressive I had to speak up and ask him to be more gentle. During the exam and the consultation he was blatantly trying to push unnecessary and expensive procedures. I've never had a moment of jaw pain, but he insisted I needed realignment.

He jerked my jaw forward and backward to show the difference to prove his point after I said I wasn't interested in the procedure. The next day, my jaw hurt so badly I had to go to urgent care. By far the worst dentist I have ever been to.

Unless you are 100% sure they are accepted by your dental provider or you are willing to pay the unreal out of pocket costs then I would find another dentist. The office is nice and the receptionists are also warm and welcoming as mentioned above. But the Dentist is clearly in it for the money and the money only. I felt they were very misleading with me, and my filling they filled failed less than 6 months later.

Went in for a free consultation for invisalign. I was very impressed with the atmosphere and all of the receptionists working were very welcoming and instantly made me feel comfortable. I was feeling very optimistic, which was a relief because I have been going to the same dentist my entire life, whom I love, back in Massachusetts. I met with Dr. Barotz, who also instantly made me feel comfortable, that is until we went into the "consultation room" to discuss options and pricing.

He turned into a sleazy car salesman before my eyes. After I stated that the monthly payments were a bit higher than what I was expecting to pay, he suggested that I ask my parents for the money. I was offended, but being non confrontational, I stayed polite. I must have had to say at least 3 or 4 times that I wasn't going to ask them for the money because they have already been more than generous to me in my life.

He told me to "put my pride aside and just ask them" and said, "well I don't know what kind of relationship you have with your parents, but I have a very good relationship with my children". I could smell the desperation on him, it was so uncomfortable, especially since he had two interns in the room who must have been shadowing him that day.

He then insulted me (in front of said interns) by saying I have the jawline of my dad and the teeth of my mother (insinuating that I have a prominent jawline for a girl and small teeth). Not sure if insulting the patients and deflating their self-esteem usually works to get them to sign up for cosmetic procedures, but I think you catch more flies with honey.

I will not be moving forward with any procedures at this office because of this experience and how uncomfortable Dr. Barotz made me. And it does pain me to write this review because as I said, I really enjoyed the receptionists and I was looking forward to going here because of how pleasant they were.
