When I first called the practice, I asked if the practice was in network with my insurance company. I gave them my information at the time I made the appointment. They told me that they were in network. The day of the procedure, I made the payment for my portion of the extraction for about $115. It was based on the in network copays which wer $50 for each of the teeth being extracted and $15 for the exam.

Almost a week after the procedure I got a call that there was a problem with my claim. they told me that I was going to have to pay an addition $320 I was told that the insurance company was only paying $99. I asked them if they were in network as they originally stated. They stated that they were. When I called my insurance company, they stated that they were out of network.

I put the office on the phone with my insurance company, they stated that they were out of network. Now the office is claiming that they were told by the insurance company that when they called to request confirmation, that they are had been told that they were in network at the time. They told me now that "this was not their problem." They are blaming my insurance company for the error. I am in the process of filing a complaint with the Florida Department of Financial Services and taking further legal action.

I've been having trouble locating a dental office for wisdom teeth extractions and was referred to this office. The office staff that answered the phone was really rude, nasty and couldn't even answer my questions. Then to add fuel to fire the young lady told me " you know what find another office ". I've heard nothing but positive feedback about Dr. Briceno but the office staff really surprised me with the level of nastiness over the phone.

Wonderful office! Walked my son through the whole process. Once I arrived from out of state and went with him the Dr took my son and I back to procedure room and explained all. He said ok mom we will see you in about 10 mins. I went back to the waiting room and they came and got me again in under 10 mins and said all done. He told me I had better go get his prescriptions since my son had felled to do so ahead of time. He patted my son on the back and wished him well! Nicest Dentist I have ever met! Took care of my insurance and everything! Great Job! Highly recommend!

He truly is one of the best Oral Surgen's I wish I was back in Florida right now because I need a tooth extracted and I trust him completely you are truly being missed right now!

I don't believe I have ever had the care or concern for my health provided at the level Dr. Hector exerted, from any Healthcare worker EVER. Amazing service, and I felt comfortable during my time of dental-crisis. Highly recommend to any one who is in need of an Oral surgeon in Orlando. Amazing.

Really impressed with this place. The surgeon listened to all of my concerns, and did a great job removing a abscess wisdom tooth. I felt no pain. I definitely recommend this office.

How often can someone say (about a doctors visit or surgery/post care) that it was truly a great experience? It was for us with Dr. Briceno. I am so glad I found him for our sons procedure. He has the best bedside manner. He has personality. He has skill. He has knowledge. He has experience. He has smart, kind and savvy women backing him up in a clean, comfortable office.

From making the appointment to getting biopsy results it was the smoothest procedure I have ever dealt with in 40+ years. I would recommend Doctor Briceno and his staff to everyone, they are superior in every way to offices offering similar services.

My 6 year old had a tooth abscess and was in severe pain. He also has sensory sensitivity and does not do well with dental visits. A typical visit can take hours because he won't open his mouth. But today, he went through the procedure with Dr. Briceno with no fuss. I was surprised and relieved that it was so fast. 2 hours after and my child, is back to his normal self - playing and happy. Words can't describe how much we appreciate Dr. Briceno and the ladies in his clinic. I would definitely use him if we ever need oral surgery again (but hopefully we won't ever need to see him again ).

Just had my wisdom tooth extracted. Dr Briceno is the best of the best. He is attentive, knowledgeable, patient, and takes the time to actually talk to you. He said it would be pain free and it was. If you ever need a dentist., I highly recommend him. The only way you can go wrong is to go somewhere else.

Dr. Briceno extracted my wisdom teeth recently, and I cannot stress how wonderful he was. I loved how he calmly explained what was going on throughout the procedure. He was so kind and informative. Easy 5 stars. I highly recommend him for your oral surgery needs!

I went there and had my wisdom teeth removed and before my surgery there was no communication on what I was supposed to do to prepare. Also after surgery it only took 20 minutes which was concerning and after surgery they said you can eat regular and do whatever but other oral surgeons says not eat hard foods because it will affect the area. This place was setting me up for failure I do not recommend this place!

Dr. Briceno and his staff are excellent, I came here for a second opinion about wisdom tooth extraction and it could not have gone better. Liz at the front desk took time to explain how my insurance would work and how the procedure would go, the doctor sat with me and talked about his recommended course of action and how that different from the first opinion I got.

The procedure was incredibly easy and painless, though it's worth noting I had a simple extraction, nothing too complicated. I only had a little swelling and tenderness for a few days, that was it. Both appointments I had at the office started on time, the staff was professional, communicative and friendly, I was in very little pain during and after the extraction, it's a great place.

Dr. Briceno and his staff are one of the best teams I've come across. From the front to the back everyone cares. They are kind and patient and Dr. Briceno is hands down the dental provider I've ever worked with. He is patient and kind and hears your out. He makes reasonable decisions and is honest. I've now had dental work by him on two different teeth and he has never allowed me to feel even an ounce of pain.

I didn't know this was possible. My daughter will soon her her wisdom teeth extracted there and I have full faith. Thank you to the entire staff - you all are fabulous and I really appreciate all you do.

Friendly and personable. I was in a lot of pain and went in without an appointment. They fit me in. I was told by other offices that I would need IV sedation which is very expensive and this Dentist did my procedure without it. Painless and in and out fast. This Dentist really cares about you and explains what is best and why. I will never go anywhere else. Thank you!

I can not say enough kind things about this office. From the personnel to Dr Briceno, this office is professional, and patient. Like most people, surgeries of any kind make me nervous. I never felt rushed in my pre surgery consultations, the care during my procedure was amazing, and the follow up was great! Thanks Dr Briceno for making me feel comfortable under your care! My experience of Dr. Briceno seems 100% different from the other person. I was at another dentist who shot me up with Novacaine 5 times and couldn't numb the nerve. He sent me to Dr. Briceno, an oral surgeon, as his back up dentist for major problems. Dr. briceno is a caring, comapssionate dentist. i paid for xrays, as i expected-otherwise the costs were about the same as at your average dentist, but I got the expertise fo an oral surgeon. A totally pain free extraction. I am 74 and the tooth was calcified and difficult to extract but was no problem for Dr. Briceno.

This is a long review so here is a summary to start: this place is a money scam. I went in here about a month ago for a oral surgery consultation for my wisdom teeth removal. The staff were all very friendly, the facility was very professional and clean, and the doctor was nice and got me in and out fast. However - the red flags started when they showed me my xrays. "You need these removed now!" They were very pushy and persistent about getting me in for surgery right away.

They wanted to schedule it for less than a week away - which I couldn't obviously do because of work and personal matters. When I went to the receptionist afterward they charged me $80 for the consultation (which I thought would be free, but didn't argue because they did in fact take X-rays). Then she racked up the cost of my surgery to about $800 (and this is after I was told by both the receptionist and doctor "you have great insurance coverage, so you should do aenesthia and go under for the surgery").

I said that that didn't make sense to cost so much but booked a date for surgery anyway. I went home called my insurance company and got the details on my coverage. It didn't add up. Called their office multiple times and multiple times was given a "new" price of my surgery. Eventually I gave up. They wouldn't even give me a price quote outlining these costs.

I cancelled and went to Orlando Oral and Facial Surgery (west colonial) where they gave me a price quote that matched was my insurance coverage was. And they told me there is no rush to get the teeth removed! This place just wanted my money quick before I realized what they were doing! Do not fall for it!
