Some dental insurance plans encourage you or your dentist to submit a treatment proposal to the plan administrator before receiving treatment. After review, the plan administrator may determine: the patient's eligibility; the eligibility period; services covered; the patient's required co-payment; and the maximum limitation.
Once your dentist or hygienist has completed your hygiene appointment, there are a few simple things you can do to continue a regimen of good oral hygiene at home. They include proper flossing and brushing, as well as eating a balanced diet. Good oral hygiene is a great habit to get into! In addition to having routine oral hygiene appointments, you should brush and floss daily and eat a balanced diet.
Dental check-ups are routine examinations aimed at ensuring your teeth and gums are healthy. Even if you brush and floss diligently you should schedule an appointment regularly to spot any problems early, such as dental decay, gum disease or oral cancer. During your visit we'll talk through your dental health and examine your teeth.

Great Dental Office! From the office manager, Brittany to the hygienist, Christine to the Dr and everyone in between. I had the best experience I've ever had with a dental office. I am not a big fan of going to the dentist, but this office made all my appointments quick, easy and painless. Treatments are not pushed, Brittany is very clear about payments and the Dr is quick and accurate in his treatments. I have even moved out of the area, but have gone back just for my dental needs.

Dr. Lawless and his team at Hilton Head Dental are nothing short of amazing! I am very particular about my teeth being extra clean, and they never fail to exceed expectations. The lady at the front desk, Brittany, is a great person as well. She has such a welcoming personality! So glad I've finally found a dentist office that I LOVE!

I have been going to Dr Lawless about 4 years and love the care I get. Have been able to get in quick if needed. Very caring whole staff. He takes care of what is needed not sending me to specialist for every little thing. My husband has switched and is happy. Advises us on what might need to be done in future but doesn't try to sell us on procedure that can wait to see if needs to be done.

Dr. Lawless has been my dentist for the past three years now and I have only good things to say about him and his staff. Dr. Lawless takes his time with you and is very gentle, and i think the best thing about him is he genuinely cares about his patients and there dental needs. I have noticed he hasn't pushed for any unnecessary dental work on me but is honest about my needs. I highly recommend his services.
