An Endodontist is a dentist who specializes in saving teeth. Endodontists become specialists by completing dental school followed by an additional two or more years of advanced training in endodontics. They perform routine as well as difficult and very complex endodontic procedures, including root canal treatment and endodontic surgery.
Emily's professional background includes forty years of experience in the dental profession as dental assistant, administrative assistant, and office manager. Emily's sunny, friendly personality will immediately make your time in our office enjoyable. Please let Emily know of any questions or concerns you may have throughout your time at our office.
Prior to initiating treatment, we will provide you an estimate of your financial responsibility for treatment. Our fees are competitive for this region and represent the quality of care we provide. Payment will be collected at the start of treatment. For your convenience we accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover, American Express, cash and checks.

Highly recommend this dental practice. Developed tooth infection over the weekend - I called the office on Monday morning at 9:00 and was seen at 10:00. All staff was super nice and compassionate. Dr. Patel was reassuring and inspired total confidence. Can honestly say the whole procedure was easy and pain-free Can't thank all the staff enough for getting rid of this pain for me!

The staff here is super nice, both on the phone and in person. I was able to get an appointment quickly and saw Dr. Patel for diagnosis of my problem. He was also very nice, personable and thorough in his explanations. He took his time with me and answered all my questions so that I feel comfortable going ahead with the root canal.

When there is fire in your gums and tooth pain is radiating so that it also shoots our of your eye sockets and your ears, you just want it to stop. NOW. Fortunately, I found the right endodontist in Dr. Soham Patel. I could tell I was on the right track by the warmth and compassion of his receptionist, Emily, on the phone. That Carroll County Endodontists office was in my neighborhood and accepted my insurance plan was just icing on the cake (sugar free, of course).
At that moment, I would have traveled any distance and paid any price to feel like my old self. My regular dentist had spoken about "trying to save the tooth" since it was a redo of an old root canal dating about 20 years back. Dr. Patel used all the modern equipment and techniques at his disposal and less than an hour later I was feeling much, much better.
The only pain I felt during the whole procedure was that first needle and it was nothing compared to the pain I had felt during the past three days. Dr. Patel was friendly and his confidence was contagious. He seems to take care to surround himself with like-minded individuals since his other receptionist, Lisa, and assistant, Nicole, were equally compassionate.
I noticed he had only two reviews up on this site so far. I volunteered to write this one so that others could enjoy the benefit of this competent and compassionate practitioner.
