I love all the folks at DDD. My adult daughter has special needs and they are amazing with her. She gets quality care and they go the extra mile to make her feel comfortable and cared for. They help with problem solving and coming up with ideas to help her take care of herself.

Initially, I thought I had found a caring, nice black environment for the quality maintenance of my dental health, but quickly I came to discover the dismissive, subtly condescending side of Dr. Dunson. The staff at the front desk are sweet. I don't know if it is because I am a young woman or if Dr. Dunson is like this with every patient, but he has brushed off my concerns for a year straight.

I kept telling him the issues I had, and instead of referring me to an orthodontist, he would patronize me, and cast aside my concerns as if they were irrelevant, and as if I didn't know what I was talking about. "Your smile is so nice." Sir, that is not what I am talking about. It was not till one day when his hygienist friend, who was temporarily working there, told Dr. Dunson my concern with all of us in the room, that he finally took me serious and finally gave my referral.

When I confronted him on this, and relayed how he has been treating me for a year straight, instead of apologizing, he said "well what do you want me to do about it". This is not the bedside manner that they teach you in school and I was flabbergasted. I've never felt so angry before at a authoritative figure. I can't tell if it's sexism or if he is one of those professionals that always think they are right and hate to change status quo.

You can't follow the same protocol with every patient- that's not how real life works. Every patient is different, and at least explain to the patient the "why". Don't just shut them down because you can't get over the size of your "i'm the dentist" ego

Absolutely excellent dental treatment & care advice. Dentist was thorough yet explained things in plain English so I can understand. Answered all of my questions & gave me information no other dentist had mentioned about dental care. Staff was excellent, patient, & caring about my mental health. I highly recommend them. Great staff, but more importantly a very highly skilled and professional DDS that will take you through your process step-by-step! I would highly recommend Dr. Dunson if you're considering any type of restoration or have a more serious dental need, please consult with Dunson Dental FIRST!

My consultation was great. Dr Dunson took the time to answer my questions after presenting me with a treatment plan. The office is clean, the staff is friendly and I'm looking forward to start my process.

Cutting edge technology meets artful execution at the wonderful Dunson Dental facility. Recently had my implant placed here, throughout the entire process I felt welcome, safe, and extremely well informed about the process and steps being taken. Dr Dunson is an absolute pleasure to talk to and is a wealth of knowledge and readily shares it, not only in his local office but with outreach to other countries as well. Every staff member was pleasant, and I really felt like I was getting "the best" treatment possible. I cannot recommend this dentist enough.
