Dr. Peterson graduated from the University of California, Berkeley ('76) and from the University of Southern California (USC) School of Dentistry ('81). He moved to Spokane with his wife, Holly to start their dental practice in 1982. They raised two children here in Spokane. Kurt is board certified and has received extensive training in cosmetic dentistry.
Peterson Dental offers a full array of dental services to help you maintain healthy teeth. Your initial oral examination includes a visual examination, charting, periodontal probing, necessary x-rays, diagnosis and treatment recommendations. Implants are synthetic structures that are placed in the area of the tooth normally occupied by the root.
In our office, the term "Cosmetic" or "Aesthetic Dentistry" applies to many procedures from replacing an old amalgam in a single tooth with natural, tooth colored filling, to creating an entirely new and beautiful smile. Missing teeth can now be replaced easily and effectively by dental implants. Implants offer a permanent tooth replacement system that can replace from one tooth up to an entire arch. Earlier this week I broke a tooth. Dr. Peterson was able to see me right away the next day and squeezed me in to start working on a crown. The process was painless and the staff did everything they could to make me comfortable. I would highly recommend anyone go to see Dr. Peterson. He goes above and beyond to take care of his patients

I'm living in Florida, for now, and I cannot find anyone comparable to Dr. Peterson. When I came to Dr. Peterson's office in Spokane, my teeth were not in the best shape. I was in need of several crowns, had cavities, and needed some help with standard teeth hygiene which no office had taken the time, like Dr. Peterson's office, in providing tools and techniques to improve my teeth.
From 2016-2021 they cleaned my teeth, installed my crowns, and provided information on my electric toothbrush I bought (my first electric one) which has made my teeth much whiter as I'm a heavy Tea drinker. Tea stains teeth very badly but the electric toothbrush has helped immensely. The front desk ladies were always personable and friendly and the dental hygienists did immaculate work. This has been the Best Dental Office and Dentist I have ever used and I'm on the older side of middle age! It's been really hard here in Florida, Dental-wise.

I've been seeing Dr. Kurt Peterson for years. Of course I always dread going to the dentist because, well, I'm normal. As soon as I walk in the door and am greeted by his lovely staff, I start to relax. They are as kind as they are professional. Dr. Peterson is smart, knowledgeable, competent, and always a pleasure to chat with. Except when I'm high on nitrous.
At that point, I put in my earbuds, let him do his work, and am always delighted with the results. If he ever gets tired of being a dentist and goes on to pursue other interests, I'll just let me teeth rot. It will be impossible to find someone to replace him.

HOLY TOLEDO! First time patient here and can't speak more highly of Kurt Peterson and his team. The experience was amazing. staff is extremely kind. office is clean and inviting. Plus, it's 8pm on a Wednesday and I just got a personal call from Dr. Peterson checking in with me to see if I had any questions from my appointment. Never have a seen the level of quality and care from a dentist than I did today. 11/10 would recommend

Honestly, I've never had a worse experience with a dentist in my life. The staff was nice but the dentist himself was rude and didn't seem to listen to what I was saying at all. Call me crazy but I think it is important to listen to a patient who is receiving dental care. won't be going back here. yikes

Needed an emergency dentist back in february on a weekend and he was in CDA on his way back to spokane and was able to meet me at 6 in the evening to fix my dry socket I developed after having a tooth pulled. He was amazing and his wife was so kind and gentle I recieved some of the best care ever and they made me feel so comfortable and took very good care of me. I'm debating if I should switch dentists now.
Thank you Dr. Peterson and thank you Mrs. Peterson for being such kind and wonderful people I got lucky that weekend by getting you two for my dentists and I am so greatful to this day. I recommend them in an emergency or even for a checkup they will make you feel comfortable and right at home.
