Dr. Nielsen earned his DMD (Doctor of Medical Dentistry) from the University of Pittsburgh in 2002. He completed his undergraduate studies from the University of Washington. He actively continues his education so he can provide his patients with superior, modern dental care. He is a member of the American Dental Association, the Washington State Dental Association, and the Pierce County Dental Society.

Dr Chris and his staff create the most comfortable atmosphere. I called with a dental problem and they got me in that day, My appt wasn't rushed and all the different choices were presented to me with no pressure to pick one way or the other. The Dr worked patiently with me to make sure my bite would be comfortable and work safely for me in the interim. I left feeling comfortable and with having time to weigh the options that I had. They are just awesome, nice people that I get the privilege to have care for me!

I cant express how thankful I am to Dr Nielsen and staff. They are always pleasant and a delight to be around. I always leave with a great smile on my face. At this time Dentist Offices are closed due to the mandated quarantine and of course I suddenly had a dental emergency. I did not know what to do and was in a panic. I called the office and explained my emergency.
They advised me that yes they can accommodate emergencies and set me up to be seen right away. I work in public safety and am mission essential so I couldn't wait too long to get this done. As soon as I arrived at the office Dr Nielsen was waiting ready to fix me and got me out very quickly so I could return to work right away. Dr Nielsen treats my whole family and I truly believe he cares about our dental health and takes very good care of all of us. I appreciate Dr Nielsen and Jocelyn for saving me in my time of crisis and will always trust them and see them for my dental care.

We had just moved to the area and my coworker referred my family to Dr Nielsen. Dr Nielsen did not know that we would only be taking my teenage daughter here for check-ups and cleanings (she has full benefits at the native hospital). After her cleaning, he told us she had 6 cavities - but when we took her to the native hospital, she only had one. They said there was MAYBE one other area that could have been an indication of the very beginning stages of a cavity but there was nothing else. So.
I became skeptical and decided to get a second opinion on the crack in my tooth which he said I needed a crown for and the $1300 worth of work he said my husband needed. We both went and got a second opinion -- there was NO crack in my tooth! Dr Neilson had SHOWED ME A PICTURE of a tooth with a crack but it was not from MY mouth! The second dentist did a thorough exam.
I asked if he was absolutely sure multiple times. NO CRACK. No crown needed. Then my husband's turn. The $1300 worth of work my husband needed went to $0. Dr. Neilsen is dishonest. I imagine some of the work he does in your mouth is necessary. But you'll never know if you don't get another opinion. They also split my cleaning into two appointments for an extra thorough "deep clean". Still not as good as my other dentist. I could still catch my floss on the tartar buildup in my lower front teeth. That doesn't happen with my other dentist office cleaning.

I really like Chris and his staff. They are very diligent about making sure you have the care you need but never rush you into a decision. My dental insurance took me to another dentist and they were not nearly as attentive, they just did the minimum, get in get out. Now I am paying out of pocket with no insurance to Aristos because I want the good care again.

Amazing Dentist! Dr. Nielsen and his entire team are truly amazing in all regards! Friendly, caring and warm from the moment you step into the office. They do top-notch work and I'm looking forward to my next visit! p.s. I live out in Seattle and its 100% worth the drive. It's also worth mentioning that his wife Dr. Nikolina Nielsen is an incredibly talented dentist over at Willows Pond Dentistry in Puyallup! Highly recommend both!

Our family has had only exceptional care at Aristos. Dr. Nielson and his staff offer a comfortable, friendly environment and provide outstanding dental care. Becky does an amazing job communicating with the patients about everything from billing to scheduling appointments. We have been going to Aristos for 7 years and highly recommend it!
