Originally from St. Louis, Dr. David Killen first moved to Seattle in 1984 and studied chemistry at the University of Washington. After graduating from the University of Washington Dental School in 1996, he opened his dental practice in Bothell in 1997, ultimately relocating to his current state of the art office at Thrasher's Corner in 2001.
Anyone who is unhappy with their smile can have it fixed. The upper teeth show, usually, only when smiling, while the lower teeth remain hidden. This is reversed when talking, with the upper teeth remaining hidden while the lower teeth show. The color, alignment, spacing as well as regularity of the teeth are the characteristics that give the overall appearance.

Healthy teeth not only enable you to look and feel good, they make it possible to eat and speak properly. Good oral health is important to your overall well-being. Daily preventive care, including proper brushing and flossing, will help stop problems before they develop.
Q: Which type of toothbrush should I use? A: The brand of the toothbrush is not as critical as the type of bristle and the size of the head. A soft toothbrush with a small head is recommended because medium and hard brushes tend to cause irritation and contribute to recession of the gums, and a small head allows you to get around each tooth more completely and is less likely to injure your gums.

I have been seeing Dr. Killen for 20 plus years. As a kid I did not have a choice, but have continued to see him as an adult because I trust his recommendations for care and love his front desk. I feel like family and will continue to see Dr. Killen as long as he remains practicing in the area. Thanks for my smile

I go to the Starbucks next to this dental office almost everyday and I notice people always leaving with a smile. So I decided to give them a try and I was not disappointed! I've always been embarrassed of my teeth but they made me feel so comfortable that now I'm optimistic and enthusiastic about my teeth. I use to dread going to the dentist and now I'm actually looking forward to my next cleaning!
