Dr. Young H. Kim came to the United States as an international student at age 19 and attended Loma Linda University in Riverside, California. After her junior year, she was accepted to the Temple University School of Dentistry in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. After graduation, she practiced dentistry briefly in Philadelphia and then relocated to Naperville, Illinois in 1990.

I've been a patient of Dr. Kim for over 20 years. Visiting her office has always been a good experience and like visiting with family! She recently did some extensive work after I got implants and I couldn't be happier with the results. I highly recommend her and her wonderful team at Lincolnway Dental!

It is a nice experience at Lincolnway Dental, Dr. Kim and staff all are very professional, they inform and guide you in the right direction. My family and I are patients at Lincolnway dental for a number of years and I have only great things to say about them. Sarah and Jazmin are Awesome dental hygienist. I have had teeth issues my whole life and went to a variety of dentists. Dr. Kim is the BEST dentist by far. The staff is kind and never makes you feel embarrassed. Dr. Kim has a gentle hand - people don't believe me when I say this but I could fall asleep while getting a filling there. Most of all, Dr. Kim does what is best for you. I had previous dentists who would claim they needed to do more fillings than necessary- you do not need to worry about that here- Dr. Kim is honest regarding what needs to be watched or cared for in the moment.

My visit today was for the purpose of a crown prep. I've had several crowns in the past 25 years, but I've never experienced anything like today's visit. It was the most comfortable, painless prep I've ever had. Dr. Kim and her assistant, Trisha, could not have been more efficient, skilled, or compassionate. They were both constantly concerned with my comfort and did everything they could to make the visit pleasant, and even fun.
All three of us were singing to the music on Pandora (except when I had a mouthful of instruments) a good part of the time! I was shocked to find that I had been in the chair for almost 2 hours! I would have thought that I was only in there for about 45 minutes. Some of my other crown preps have taken up to 3 hours, so this was truly one of the best. I can't recommend Lincolnway highly enough! Everyone I have dealt with there, from Janet at the front desk on has always been wonderful to deal with.

Lincolnway Dental is a great dentist to go to. Dr. Kim and her staff are all very professional, knowledgeable and friendly. They are very thorough cleaning my teeth and do a great job with any other work that needs to be done. They also do a great job explaining to me what I need to do to keep my teeth and gums healthy. I had a great experience at Lincolnway Dental, Janet (front desk) was really nice, friendly and professional. She explained everything before I went to the waiting area. Jasmine ( dental hygienist ) described everything she was doing, so I had knowledge of the procedure, she did an excellent job. Dr Kim came to check and gave me recommendations and a referral for a follow up. Everyone was very friendly and considerate, I would recommend this practice to all my friends and family.
