Bill has been practicing in the dental profession since 1984, merging his years of experience as a general dentist with his orthodontic experience to deliver high-quality care with an emphasis on appearance and function. Dr. Dingus's training as a general dentist and orthodontist has proved invaluable in more complex orthodontic, prosthetic and surgical cases.
Every individual's orthodontic problem is different and deserves personalized attention. Your initial consultation is an important opportunity for us to get to know you, as well as the outcome you expect from your orthodontic treatment. If the timing is right for you to start treatment, we will schedule an appointment for you to come in and have orthodontic records taken, which may include x-rays of your jaw and teeth, digital photographs of your face and teeth and impressions for study models to help communicate your treatment needs.
Following are some commonly asked orthodontic questions. At Dingus Orthodontics, we're available to answer any additional questions that are not covered here. Straight teeth and properly aligned jaws contribute to good dental health, as well as overall physical health. Orthodontic treatment can boost a person's self-image as teeth, lips and jaws move into position and improve appearance.
The cost of treatment depends on the severity of an individual patient's problem. You will be able to discuss fees and payment options before treatment begins. Dingus Orthodontics offers payment plans to suit different budgets, including a no-down-payment option. We accept most major credit cards, as well as assignment from insurance plans.

First, a positive note- the staff is very friendly. We are transferring orthodontists due to our dissatisfaction with the Newark office. Monthly adjustment appointments are necessary- my daughter missed one and couldn't reschedule for almost 2 more months! This is not just a one time incident. We live 5 minutes from their office and requested to be put on their waiting list if any appointments became available.
Still waiting. Also, we were given very little instructions and information on progress, and maintaining. The staff, while friendly, does not communicate well with the patient- instead carries on unrelated conversations amongst themselves! The doctor literally spends 2 seconds with patients. Quite honestly, he made my daughter feel unimportant, less of a priority. The Newark office is quaint, but just does not feel comfortable.
