Dr. Edward Jang grew up in the Bay Area (Orinda) and attended University of Pacific for both undergraduate and dental education. In practice since 1989 in the East Bay area, Dr. Jang strongly believes in constantly striving to perfect all aspects of his dental practice through continuing education of all his team members as well as himself.
The brief descriptions below are designed to familiarize you with our staff's training, professional credentials and work experience. Your initial oral examination includes a visual examination, charting, periodontal probing, diagnosis and treatment recommendations. We will also take x-rays, which includes the panoramic x-ray for proper diagnosis of the anterior (front) and posterior (back) teeth as well as the bite-wing x-ray series for proper diagnosis of proximal decay of posterior teeth.We will work with an implant specialist to create an implant for a missing single tooth, missing multiple teeth, or replace a removable appliance.

I've been a patient of Dr. Jang since 2015. Before meeting him and his wonderful staff I was so afraid of dentists. When I was a child I had terrible teeth and my dentist as a child did not use novacain or any antistetic while drilling etc and he would smoke cigarettes with gloves in and I could smell the smoke mixed with latex (stuck in my memory). With that being said I didn't go to the dentist for years out of fear - I was completely traumatized. My teeth were in bad shape with lots of decay and broken teeth. I went in because I was tired of Not feeling comfortable to smile , tooth decay and having tooth pain Dr. Jang's office staff greeted me with warm smiles and Down to earth attitudes- I was nervous to open my mouth for his assistant out of fear she would judge me, but she didn't. She was kind and sweet and put me at ease. When Dr. Jang came in to see me for the very first time he was very warm as well and put together a treatment plan for me. He explained everything in complete detail and mapped out things right there with me He is one heck of a dentist! 3 years later, I look forward to going in and I stuck with my dental plan. My teeth are in the best shape they have ever been and I'm proud to smile now a days. Dr. Jang and his entire staff have changed my life and gave me such confidence to smile and rested all of my fears of dentists. I highly recommend Dr.Jang and his staff!!!

I've been coming here consistently for about 6 years now, which is amazing because I have never felt comfortable going to the dentist. I would routinely skip my cleanings before I started coming here. Now I never miss an appt.
The entire staff here is amazing and truly makes you feel welcomed. When I go, I usually see Stacey (she's a hygienist and she is so cool), Jennifer (there's two and they're both so nice), and Camille. Honestly, I know they're at work and getting paid to make the patients happy but they are so good at their jobs! I really respect when people do their jobs well and with passion.
Dr. Gonzalez made a plan for me when I first started coming and we've finally made it to the end of my Invisalign treatment. I am so happy with the results! I cannot believe how quickly my teeth moved. I was actually surprised to be done so fast, I thought it was going to be at least a whole year. I'm kinda sad I won't be seeing everyone every few weeks anymore. Lol. Dr. Gonzalez is truly amazing at her craft. I'm so happy I went through with the treatment plan.
I want to also say that Dr. Lim is amazing. She has treated me and my daughter and she is always a pleasure. I've seen Dr. Jang maybe once and I thought he was a nice guy too.
If you're afraid of going to the dentist like I was six years ago then this is the definitely the place for you. You will never go anywhere else after coming here.
