I have had several dental emergencies over the years. Dr Rahmatian has always been able to fit me in, even during Covid lockdown. He is compassionate as well as being an excellent dentist. The staff is top notch both the dental assistants and front office. I would recommend this practice to anyone!

Dr. Rahmatian and office staff are kind and considerate, the hygienists are too gentle. I don't want to have to get "deep cleaning" every year when a really intense regular cleaning could take care of all that. I ended up going to another practice, so we'll see how that goes. You live long enough, things change and you have to start over.

I had my scheduled dental hygiene done. I appreciated that they informed me in advance that the elevators were not working in the building and would I like to reschedule as they know I have mobility issues. Elevation were fixed and appointment proceeded as scheduled. Hygienist was very thorough and gentle. I always have a good experience with my cleaning.

I'm one of those people who really hates going to the dentist. I just hate the scraping sounds the buzzing, etc., but Dr Rahmatian and his staff make every visit pleasant and easy. He's always on time ( even when I'm running behind due to living a distance away ). The other thing I appreciate is he usually tells you everything that's happening as he's doing them. No sudden surprises. I'll continue to stay on top of my dental care with this team.

Best experience I've ever had at a dentists office in my life! Dr. Rahmatian was extremely diligent and caring. Having had past bad experiences at my previous dentist before for fillings, I avoided the dentists office for quite a long time. Dr. Rahmatian was reccomended to me by a relative and I am so grateful they had! He took every precaution and cared deeply about making my procedure as comfortable as possible for me! I had an amazing experience from the moment I walked in. Isobel the receptionist was really helpful, sweet and polite, the staff in general was all very polite and gentle, overall created a great atmosphere. Doctor was very knowledgeable and informative of the process answering any questions and advising the best procedures so I can provide the best care for my dental hygene.

Dr. Rahmatian is a great dentist and a pleasure to spend time with. He is gifted, gentle, very knowledgeable and has a good sense of humor. He sincerely respects his patients. He has been my dentist for about twenty years and I am still impressed. I highly recommend him! And it's easy to use my insurance to pay for visits.

I've been seeing Dr. Rahmatian for many years. His office is efficient, but never feels rushed. Dr. Rahmatian himself is friendly and knowledgeable. I have found his advice to be clear and thorough. He always explains the reasons and alternatives for any recommended procedure, and takes seriously his patients priorities.

I've now visited this dental office five times. I was initially worried when my previous dentist retired and sold the business to Dr. Rahmatian but decided to give the new guy a go. He's great: Thorough, professional, affable and breaks things down in ways laypeople can understand. Just came out of getting a filling with him yesterday, and he talked me through it as he worked, which helped keep me calm.

Dr. Rahmatian and his staff make me LOVE coming to the dentist. I feel like a person they know and care about, not just another dental chart sitting in a chair. He has taken care of my routine dental needs and also did some cosmetic dentistry after my invisalign was complete to build out some too-skinny teeth that needed to be a bit wider. He was super transparent about my options for that and walked me through all the pros and cons WRT cost, durability, etc. I also have some popping jaw issues and he's super considerate of them when doing dental exams. He's the best!

Dr. Rahmatian and staff are amazing. They are all very friendly and welcoming. The hygienist I saw made me feel comfortable. She was very understanding of my anxiety about going to the dentist. She made my experience enjoyable and Dr. Rahmatian was very kind and knowledgeable. I will refer all of my family and friends to his office.

Dr. Rahmatian recently took over the practice of my long-time but retiring dentist. I have seen him twice, once for a cleaning and once for a crown, and he has been friendly, professional, and skilled. He was highly attentive to my comfort, even as he was doing some pretty challenging dental work with his assistant Christina, and he explained everything to me along the way.

I even got a followup call from the doctor himself the next day, just to make sure the temporary crown was feeling ok and I wasn't having any bite issues. His office staff (which is mostly the same as the old dentist) is professional, prompt, and organized, but he has definitely brought some technology upgrades to the practice as well. Not that anyone enjoys going to the dentist, but if I have to go, I'll keep going to Dr. Rahmatian!

I had two fillings done by Dr. Rahmatian yesterday and am pleased to say that the bite feels just perfect and now I don't have to worry about any further deterioration. Dr. Rahmatian was very professional, skilled, and attentive. He was also very thorough and careful, flossing after the filling to make sure no unwanted material is left behind. Priscilla, the office assistant was also very nice and helpful with the dental insurance side of the visit. All in all a pleasant experience, as dental visits go.

I just recently joined Dr. Rahmatian's practice following a years-long dental/periodontal issue that continues to haunt me to this day. Dr. Rahmatian was very knowledgeable, took a lot of time considering what treatment plan was best for my case, and was gentle during what otherwise would have been a scary procedure. He explained the issue and presented me with multiple options for addressing it, including providing me referrals to specialists.

His lack of ego and desire for his patients to get the best possible care - even if it means seeing someone else - is very unique. He was also great at following up after my procedure. He called me personally the next day to check in. I'm so glad I found his practice!

Dr. Rahmatian is a treasure - this office is wonderful and the staff takes great care of you. I've been going here for many years and can't imagine going elsewhere. Appointments are fast, little to no waiting, they take my Delta Dental Premier without additional fees or extra paperwork, and I would recommend him to anyone not entirely thrilled with their current dentist.

Dr Rahmatian is amazing! Both my family and I have been seeing him for over 10 years and he is as good as they get! He is very friendly and generally performs the cleanings himself. Zoe at the front desk is great as well and is very good about answering questions with regards to insurance, etc. There is no way you can go wrong by seeing this dentist!

When I moved to the east bay four years ago, I was super nervous about finding a good dentist. Having had dental implant and various other issues all through out my childhood due to falling when I was seven and chipping my front tooth, I needed someone who is a skilled dentist with a gentle touch. Thankfully, Aloha Pediatric Dental (my son's dental office) recommended Dr Rahmatian. He's been great and I am a lot less nervous now for my visits -even though it's never really a fun time is it in the chair.

I also appreciate that it is a small office and there is pretty much no delay or wait time for appointments. One tip, don't use the overpriced parking lot next to the office. Look for street parking behind the little park around Prince or Regent.

Dr. Rahmatian is a highly skilled & personable Dentist whom I highly recommend. Each visit is a pleasant experience & appreciate knowing that Dr. Rahmatian uses state of the art equipment and knowledge.

I wish I could give Dr. Rahmatian 10 stars because he really deserves it. Memorial Day weekend my wife suffered a tooth abcess with extrememe pain and infection. I literally called 30+ dential offices in the Berkeley area and Dr. Rahmatian was the only one who responded to help my wife. Not only did he respond by prescribing the antibiotics she desperately needed, but he followed up with us multiple times to ensure she was ok, taking time away from his holiday weekend. We really cannot thank Dr. Rahmatian enough and are extremely grateful for his caring and support. Please do not hesitate to contact him about your dental needs!

Dr. Rahmatian is the most caring dentist I have ever had. At my first visit he took his time to explain all my options and answer all my questions regarding the work that needed to be done. I have recommended him to all my friends and family that live close to his office and I am looking forward to getting all my work done at his office as soon as I get an appointment. I am actually a practicing dentist myself and I only trust Dr. Rahmatian with my dental care.

I have only been once, but I had a tooth that was showing signs of decay. I got hold of him on his cell phone and he was able to take me in the early morning on Monday. His practice is small and he only sees one patient at a time, so while I was there, I had his full, undivided attention. We made a plan to fix my tooth and I was able to schedule a follow-up and a regular cleaning that fit my schedule as a teacher. Also, the place is DECKED OUT for Halloween. You might consider making an appointment just to see it!

I recently switched dentists and honestly I couldn't be happier. I hate dental work, like everyone else in the world, but Dr. R gave me two crowns and I can honestly say that the process was pain-free. Not only that, but he was so attentive, so gentle, so thorough and caring. I actually sort of enjoy seeing him, as insane as that sounds. He communicates by email, which is great.

He uses video imaging and all sorts of high tech stuff, but mostly he's just a gifted dentist with a delightful bedside manner. His staff is amazing, too. His receptionist and billing person worked so hard to maximize my insurance cover. They made dozens of phone calls, all very cheerfully and happily. They even found ways to get me coverage I hadn't known about. Honestly, I can't imagine a better dental office than this one.

I can't believe how lucky I am to have Dr. Rahmatian as my dentist. He's saved my "choppers" (and my smile!) many times over the years. Recently my old bridge (from another dentist) finally wore out and Dr. Rahmatian brilliantly replaced it with two fabulous implants. The guy is simply an artist. If you want a dentist with state of the art equipment and knows how to use it, he's your guy.
