Polished General Dentistry

I came to Polished General Dentistry for my one year old son and I absolutely loved the visit. We felt welcome from the start. The receptionist was so kind and very attentive to our needs! All of the dental staff were so patient and gentle with my son. Overall we loved the visit and I will be making my appointments as well as my son's at this office from now on!

From start to finish my visit was a pleasant experience. Are you allowed to say that about the dentist? The knowledge, skill, and high tech equipment made for a pain-free cleaning experience. Check in and out was a breeze and I couldn't have waited more than 3 minutes to be called back for my appointment. If you are nervous visiting the dentist, I highly recommend polished general dentistry and Dr. Kim.

There truly aren't enough great things to say about Polished General Dentistry. I've probably seen over a dozen dentists in my life and have always had anxiety about having dental procedures done. This team is warm and welcoming from the second that you walk in the door. I'm always telling people how I actually look FORWARD to going to the dentist now that I've found this amazing practice.

They explain things with compassion and patience, ultimately helping you to make the best possible decisions for your dental care. Their office is state of the art and all of the assistants, hygienists, and doctors invest deeply in perfecting their craft to give their patients the best possible care. Would recommend them to anyone and everyone - you won't regret letting these amazing people take care of your smile.

I have never enjoyed going to the dentist, but now I think its because I have never been to a good one! This is the best dental experience I have had in a decade. From the moment you walk-in and speak with the receptionist, you feel like family. The dentists and hygienists are very kind and make sure you are comfortable throughout your procedure (I have a small mouth and they were very patient when I needed to rest my jaw).

Though I do not typically look forward to dentist visits, I greatly appreciate the atmosphere and customer service that comes with being a patient at Polished General Dentistry. Highly recommend coming here for all your dental needs, you will not regret your decision.

Dr. Kim is where it is AT! I was a patient of Dr. Shelton's and I will be honest I was nervous about switching to Dr. Kim. If you know Dr. Shelton, she is a joy to work with and is SO knowledgeable about every aspect of treatment (and beyond) so measuring up to that was something I wasn't sure was going to happen. However, I met with Dr. Kim yesterday and he blew me away with his over all demeanor and care for his patients.

He was so efficient while maintaining the opportunity to build a relationship with me, and to do phenomenal work. I will forever be a patient of Dr. Kim's and polished general dentistry will always have my highest recommendation when it comes to excellence in dentistry.

After years of avoiding the dentist I came to polished in need of some serious help and Dr. Shelton really came through with a plan to get me back on track. She helped me not to feel overwhelmed and nobody shamed me for not going to the dentist for years haha! I've had the best experience so far! Everyone has been so nice and helpful and I feel very relaxed at Polished!

I really like the open layout they have so you don't feel all alone and nobody is in a private (too quiet) room. Loving it so far and looking forward to getting my teeth 100% healthy again :-)

Go Here! First of all I am not a big fan of the dentist however polished dentistry really is amazing and I really don't mind coming to the dentist. The staff is super friendly. I wish I would have gone to a dentist like Dr. Shelton and Dr. Kim years ago. I cannot say enough good things about place. I have actually had to bring my child with me and the whole office was more than happy to help and I cannot stress how relieved I was. Again if you need a dentist you need to come to this place. Your teeth will thank you.

Fantastic Dentist! Great staff. Very knowledgeable, passionate, gentle. Best dental experience I have ever had. They ensure that you are comfortable and pain free. They use the top technology to ensure the best outcome. They even have TVs on the ceilings to entertain you during the procedures. I would highly recommend anyone and everyone to use them!

Teresa and Dr. Shelton are absolutely amazing. My dental cleaning and intake with them was the best. They were very detail oriented and educated me throughout the whole cleaning session, xray, photography and examination. It was a very calming environment and I could tell they are highly professional and skilled in their practice. I will continue to go to them for all my future dental appointments. I highly recommend this practice for anyone looking for dental care

Overall nothing but positives thus far, my experience was great the staff were all very knowledgeable and informative and kept me informed on the entire treatment process. 10/10 would recommend to others!

My journey with Dr. Shelton is still new however I am so far very pleased with my experiences. The staff is phenomenal and so friendly. I've been dealing with previous issues of a placed implant and it seems they may have found the cause and are being very proactive in my care. I am sure my continued work and time with the office will continue to be great.

Dr. Shelton is incredible. Cannot sing her praises enough! Our whole family is now at Polished General Dentistry. My husband and I have had a few "less than ideal" experiences at prior dentists. Dr. Shelton had always been super gentle, talks us through any procedure, and has always been honest and fair.

Love the people here. Everyone is so nice and gentle with me. I finally found a dentist that I feel comfortable with. For years I was terrified of the dentist and this place really eased me out of that fear. Theresa is fantastic! Dr. Megan is also very sweet. If you need a new dentist or want to try a new one, this is the place!

I was very impressed with the professional, yet warm and inviting environment of Polished Dentistry. I was seen quickly for a painful tooth and given care in a timely manner. Also, a treatment plan was discussed for future care to prevent further damage to my teeth. The last important point I would like to make is the follow up after the procedure was fantastic. Waking up to a text from Dr. Shelton asking how I was doing was certainly above and beyond!

After four years of coming here, I still get impressed. They utilize the newest gadgets and technology in their dentistry. The staff are always professional, helpful, and kind. My young children ask when their next dentist appointments are and can't wait till they can visit again. The work they provided on our teeth is top notch and would highly recommend Polished General Dentistry to our family and friends!

Wonderful team and highly educated team. Their tech-forward, family office makes booking for myself and my daughter super easy. My initial consultation was engaging and informative. The Polished team educated me on ways dental hygiene could reveal underlying health issues, or how specific preventative care could save me a ton of time and money down the road. All around great experience.

Just recently had my wisdom teeth taken out and Dr. Shelton and her team took care of me so well! I had a really wonderful experience. I was super nervous at first, but she explained everything I would be feeling every step of the way and assured me everything was going well. Always a pleasant experience and lovely conversations every time I visit. Highly recommend!

HIGHLY RECOMMEND!! From the moment I walked in the door, Amy at the front desk stood up to shake my hand and greet me and introduce me to her colleague. She was so kind and set the tone for the rest of my appointment. The office itself is so presentable and comfortable with the comfiest chairs & Christmas decor. My hygienist (I wish I could remember her name) was amazing!! She was thorough, detailed, explained everything she was doing and was so sweet. The dentist (I think Anna did my exam) was also so friendly & thorough. After the exam, my hygienist introduced me to Liz to go over next steps, insurance, and costs. She was so kind and explained everything to me and made the uncomfortable conversation of prices so easy. I've never had a bad experience with my previous dentists, but now that I've gone here I don't think any place else will ever measure up! It is obvious the owner & ALL staff go above & beyond in every detail, big and small! This place feels like a dental resort!
