Dr Willes and his staff are first rate! I have been a patient here for all my ortho treatments and can't say enough great things. My smile is now perfect, the care, generosity and expertise they gave was always outstanding, and I even referred a friend who is also very happy with their results. Thank you Dr Willes!

All 3 of our kids have had their braces with Dr. Willes. He is kind, patient, gentle and thorough when he is working with the kids. The staff is very friendly and patient with all of us. We have a very busy schedule and they try to accommodate us always. We have had a few urgent situations with loose braces and wires and they have always helped us after hours. We are so grateful to go to Willes Orthodontics!

I'm not sure where to start. Dr. Willes removed my braces 2 weeks ago. I am so pleased with the results but, regardless of that this office is kind, caring and most of all genuine. You can't ask for more in an office staff or an Orthodontist, it truly shows in Dr. Willes's experience. I was recommended by a friend and I would refer every family member if I could. Don't hesitate going to this great office.

I have had my braces on for 14 months and every visit has been extremely pleasant. The staff is welcoming and It really feels like Dr Willes cares about his work, which makes me feel very comfortable. I would recommend anyone come here.

We transferred care here after relocating, and the patient coordinators at Willes worked with our previous Ortho to ensure a smooth transition and credits back to my dental plan. I started going to Dr. Willes about 8 years, I had braces 2 times previously with a different orthodontist and after coming to the area I started seeing Dr. Willes for the final and third round of braces. Dr. Willes and his staff were very knowledgeable, professional and provided above and beyond service. They helped coordinate minor repairs with other orthodontists when I was out of town attending college.

They always accommodated me and worked around my college schedule. I required extensive jaw surgery with an outside oral surgeon and Dr. Willes recommended him. They worked as an excellent team ensuring I receive the best care possible. If I had to go through it again I would pick Dr. Willes without a doubt.

Willes Ortho has been great during the pandemic communicating changes and providing new safety measures. We just finished with our third child care from Dr Willes. We love their office its clean and organized, The office is a well oiled machine but everyone is so friendly and helpful along the way. I also love the games, and promotions and activities the office does, guessing candy in jars, and trivia!

We love Willes Orthodontics! The office staff is always friendly and Dr. Willes is wonderful to work with. He is thorough and really knows what he's doing! He is a perfectionist when it comes to teeth which is exactly what I want in an orthodontist! I have had 3 kids and myself seen by him and we have had great results. After doing Invisalign myself I love my smile! Don't hesitate to go in, Willes Orthodontics is the best of the best!

Dr. Willes and his team are really great! I feel that their pricing is fair, the level of professionalism all around is 5 stars, they are very accommodating and patient with my daughter who isn't totally comfortable with people putting their hands in her mouth and devices. What really sets Dr. Willes apart is that he came in on his day off to adjust my daughters mouth device. I truly appreciate that! His customer appreciation parties are pretty awesome as well! Five stars to Dr. Willes ans his team!

Overall experience was fantastic! My son had a significant overbite before coming to Dr Willes and I'm amazed by how his smile has transformed. It's pretty perfect now! Couldn't be happier!

I like how detailed the consult was and how informative the dr and staff was on our options, prices, and the process of braces. The staff took the time to get to know my daughter asking her questions about her sports to make her feel comfortable. The doctor took the time to show us stuff in her mouth and went into detail making sure my husband and I understood what was going on in her mouth and what she would need or did not need. Highly recommend this orthodontics and there amazing staff!

I am beyond happy with Dr. Willes. I have been trying to get my son to get braces for a while. Now that he is 18 I thought it would never happen. I sent him alone to see dr.willes and he left the office excited and the next week he had braces. The whole experience has been wonderful. I believe it's because dr. Willes took the time to talk to my son and explain the whole process to him. He even called him to see how he was doing the day after he got his braces on. The staff is friendly and kind. Carlabad is lucky to have such a great orthodontist.

She knows what she's doing."); and Julie is just about the best assistant out there -- she's always gentle and careful about the comfort of her patients. My son finished his treatment early and, although he was excited to have his braces off, he said he was going to miss his visits with Dr. Willes (and his team). Me too, son. Me too.

We LOVE Willes Orthodontics! From Carrie, at the reception desk, to Marissa, who helps set everything in motion insurance, X-rays, etc. to Dr Willes and his assistants! They're like FAMILY! And, you feel a part of that family, while there! The thing that drew me to Dr. Willes, over other orthodontists, was that he's meticulous, passionate, and caring about his work. YOUR smile and bite are HIS "masterpiece"!

He wants everything at its best! My father was a dentist(he's 88, now) and I had him check my son's work and progress, along the way and he was very impressed! Especially, of our son's outcome. SO, we have our other son going to him, now! I would HIGHLY recommend this dr and his whole staff!

As a Dental Hygienist working in a General Dentist office, I am very familiar with many of the top Orthodontists in the area. Over the years, I have received such excellent feedback from my patients that get treatment from Dr. Willes, that I decided to take my own children there for braces. I truly can't say enough about how wonderful our experience has been. Our oldest daughter has the most beautiful teeth thanks to Dr. Willes! We have been asked more than once who did her braces. People notice! Dr. Willes is a perfectionist, making sure everything is as good as it can be before removing the braces. In fact, we couldn't be happier with our experience, our second daughter is being treated with braces with him! The staff and office are the greatest. Anytime I have questions or need anything (extra rubber bands or wax), they are quick to help. So happy we found Willes Orthodontics!

Dr Willes and his staff are all truly amazing! They always know how to greet you and make you feel so comfortable and at ease at every appointment. To know I actually got sad when I was done with my treatment meant they were amazing. I highly recommend them to anyone, I've already referred so many people and they are all so happy as well. I really like Dr Willes but his front office is unprofessional and they didn't take X-rays for consultation. My biggest issue was the treatment plan per Dr. Willes didn't match 2700 estimate from office manager. He recommended holding off or maybe just bracing tops but then he leaves and his office manager gives me a is $2700 bill for expander.

He actually said that expander would be a waste since my son was only 1mm from normal. That not what the doctor recommended so why is that written up. When I asked I didn't get an explanation and I was done. Finally, they didn't take any X-rays for consultation. I had five consultation and all four took X-rays. Reason for 5 consult; I had two ortho in east county in May/June and then we moved up north in late July so I got two more to avoid driving and hour each way to old dentist/ortho.

One ortho was 1500 more than others so I went to Dr Willes on recommendation from the east county ortho. We decided on another ortho and my son has braces. I really like Dr Willes. He spoke clearly and directly. But his office manager and front office left me feeling unsure and uneasy. Also xray really needed to be taken for a full picture of treatment.

This is the third time in 60 years (every 30 years and they sure have come a long way) I have had to get orthodontic work with my odd jaw structure. I have learned between this and three children with my same jaw structure who the good dentists are, and this group qualifies. I came with questions and we worked out a way to address my issues before treatment started.

We were able to discuss the needs I had, concerns about treatment again and agree on a plan I could tolerate. The staff has all been friendly and professional and my appointments are on time and easily rearranged when life interferes. I was referred by my dentist of 25 years and am happy I listened. His staff had their own families seen by Dr Willes.

As a Dental Hygienist in Carlsbad for over 13 years, my expectations for quality dental care are higher than most. I chose to go to Dr Willis because I have seen his beautiful work on many of my patients. I made an appointment for my son and could not be happier with his office, staff and results. My son thinks he is so nice and funny that he doesn't even mind going! I would both professionally and personally recommend Dr Willis to anyone considering orthodontics.

We love Dr. Willes, and have been going to his office since 2008 for two children. The small office is incredibly professional yet personal, with an upbeat and positive vibe that's infectious. They do a great job of explaining the process and working with patients, parents and insurance companies to make orthodontics affordable. By starting treatment early, it corrected things as they grew, plus it helped spread out the cost. They're also very good about getting you in and out quickly and we've never had to wait more than a couple minutes. They say "like attracts like" and Dr. Willes has great people working for him. Both Roberta and Marissa are so cheery and helpful, they make you relax and smile. Great service, Great people!

I am surprised I haven't written a review for Dr Willes yet. Dr Willes is currently treating another one of our kids. From the front desk to Dr. Willes, this is one classy outfit. Dr. Willes has done nothing but treat us and our children with great respect. If you live in the Carlsbad area, and your kids have some crooked teeth, Dr. Willes is your man.
