Well the five stars Hulse shows on Yelp is exactly that. My daughters teeth look amazing and most of all everyone here is super nice and accommodating all of our crazy schedules last minute changes etc. Don't take your kids anywhere else.

I was having an issue with my permanent retainer which has been done 10 yrs ago. Other ortho place I went few days ago told me to replace the entire piece (which costs a lot) but Hulse fixed my problematic retainer so quick without any unnecessary work.

All the assistants are excellent, never have to wait and the doctor is very good and will patiently listen to your concerns and explain the process in a lot of detail.

We've brought 2 of our 5 kids here (so far) and it's been nothing but an awesome experience. Prices were reasonable, we never felt any pressure to start early. The customer service has just been outstanding. Throughout the pandemic we have had to reschedule appointments at the last minute due to catching colds and then CoVid and they were always flexible and accommodating.

Everyone at Hulse from the Doctors to all staff members are excellent. They are professional, friendly, accommodating and kind. My daughter had a couple issues needing correction and I am in awe they were fixed and her teeth are absolutely beautiful. I would recommend Hulse Orthodontics to everyone.they exceeded my expectations. Thank you!

Dr. Hulse is wonderful! I have four kids, the first three were all patients of Dr. Hulse and now my fourth needs braces and I wouldn't even THINK of taking him to any other orthodontist. Dr. Hulse is not only a highly skilled, excellent orthodontist but he is humble, kind, approachable and made all my kids feel special while under his care. In addition, the office staff is superb!

The amazing experience at Hulse starts as soon as you walk in. The staff are all friendly and do an outstanding job of putting patients and their families first (above phone calls, paperwork, etc.). I can't ever remember a time that I have thought, "Why are we waiting so long to be seen." This is has never been my experience and I have had A LOT of visits with my kids to their office :).

It seems like the moment you sit down, you are being called back to be serviced. It is a well oiled machine over there.they have it down! In addition, the office itself is beautiful, clean, and always smells so good. I never minded waiting while my child was being taken care of because the environment is so lovely. I truly feel incredibly blessed that here in Carlsbad we have Dr. Hulse to take care of my family's orthodontic needs. This is the place to go for sure!

My daughter lost her retainers over the weekend. Hulse scheduled us for a time right away to bring her molds in. We thought we'd have to wait a few days and pick up later. Within 30 minutes, they made us a new set of retainers while we waited in office! No need to worry about her teeth shifting or having to come back to pick up. Thanks for making it so easy and convenient! Best of all, the staff is always so friendly, helpful and welcoming!

I got my power chains on on thursday morning and the girl who put them on said they would only hurt for 1-2 hours. ITS BEEN FOUR DAYS. F O U R. 4. DAYS. AND THEY STILL HURT. she's a liar and so mean and rude and i'm so angry and hungry because i can't eat and i'm sick of eating smoothies someone get these mother EFFING power chains off my teeth right now before i go even more insane. i do not recommend. 0/10

My family has been going to Hulse for several years, we've had 2 in braces, me for Invisalign & will have 2 more kiddos to go & we are all very satisfied patients. Service is ALWAYS on time, they've never been behind schedule once. Everyone is so friendly & professional, it's clear the standards of care & service are high. Both orthodontists are wonderful, they take all the time needed to make sure your smile will be as perfect as can be & they are honest & articulate when providing outcomes & options. Highly recommended!

Hulse Orthodontics is the perfect blend of professionalism and fun atmosphere. Amanda did a great job while having a smile on her face. They even do a little parade for kids getting their braces off. Definitely the best place in town for orthodontics.

Dr Hulse and his entire staff are the best. My daughter came in for braces in the sixth grade and she just got her braces off. Wow! what a transformation. Every visit, every interaction, every phone call has been the most professional and positive interaction you could imagine. Not only is Dr. Hulse an amazing orthodontist who is very precise with his work and is absolutely committed to the best possible outcome for your teeth and Appearance. Plus, he is one of the most positive, upbeat, fun people to be around. My daughter loves him. We give the highest rating possible to Hulse orthodontics!

When I moved from L.A I needed to find a orthodontist for my oldest son. I found Dr. Hulse through Yelp and had an awesome experience. He is now treating my youngest son. Dr. Hulse & the staff are extremely friendly, professional and fast! Scheduling is also easy and they are flexible and understanding when there needs to be changes. Waiting room is also cool- they have old school arcade games and another waiting room with a big screen TV.

Honestly, Dr. Hulse's office never fails to impress me with their customer services and the friendly staff! I came in for top retainer replacement and they were very professional and friendly as usual!

While on vacation over holidays my daughters permanent retainer came loose. We called Hulse asking for their help. They made an appointment with us for same afternoon and repaired the loose retainer. Thank you Hulse. You went the extra mile to help our family. We are appreciative of the accommodation and amazing customer service!

The entire team at Hulse Othodontics is amazing. Dr. Hulse has helped our family for many years and we are so grateful to have his kind, genuine and professional services. The office is beautiful and welcoming and every member of the staff is too! So thankful for this office and the lengths they go to to make the patient comfortable.

My family has been seeing Dr Hulse for 3 of my kids for years. He and the entire staff make a less than desirable experience the best it can be. They are accommodating, caring and very strategic with their orthodontics. We moved and the office is less than convenient, but we still go out of our way for Dr Hulse!

I can't recommend Dr Hulse enough. I grew up in a dental office and I am very picky about who I use to treat my family when it comes to our teeth. Dr Hulse was great throughout our entire experience. He always recommended the least invasive option even if it took more time while our overall cost stayed the same. My oldest son has a fabulous smile and we couldn't be happier.

Hulse Orthodontics, I have been at hulse for 2 1/2 years, everyone is nice and positive there, I recently got my braces off and received a big long tube of gum balls! Dr. Hulse is top notch! My oldest is out of braces and has a beautiful smile. My youngest is about to get them off and her teeth are gorgeous. I'm even doing Invisalign and I'm so excited with the results. You will not be disappointed. All of the staff are exceptional and the office is top notch! All three of my kids have gone to Dr. Hulse to receive their beautiful smiles. My daughter is the last of the three and when she's done we'll be a little sad that we don't get to go back. So happy with our experience at Hulse. They don't even charge you for all the visits before the braces actually go on. I started bringing my daughter there in 5th grade and they were always honest, telling me that her teeth weren't ready for braces yet. They take photos and track her progress free of charge until they felt she was ready.

She got them on 2 years ago and She got the braces off today and I didn't have one issue or problem the whole time. And the office is beautiful and clean. Would highly recommend.

A quick follow-up to my previous review. The orthodontics was outstanding for my two children. Extremely efficient service in every aspect, and most importantly my children were thrilled with their new smiles. There was also a glitch with an overcharge to my monthly payment schedule that was briefly frustrating. However, I recently received a personal card from Dr. Hulse with an apology for the error and a free month of compensation. A classy business and no better place to take your loved ones for their braces.

Dr Hulse and his team are the best! I have three kids in braces my first one was at another orthodontist western dental San Marcos was the worst experience he was in braces for longer then I think he even needed to be, had extra procedures that were so painful they over charged and if you have appt doesn't matter be ready to be there for hours or all day I would take a day off work sometimes knowing he had to go in.

My next two Sons I decided I had to go somewhere eles I asked around and read reviews found Hulse Orthodontist it's been the easiest and best experience. Prices are reasonable it's easy to get appointments for Days and times you need your in and out and can go on with your day everyone is so friendly and kind.

Highly recommended! We know Dr. Hulse and his staff since 2012. He is the best orthodontist you can find. Dr. Hulse is a very knowledgeable and a Perfectionist! I can not thank Dr. Hulse enough for his absolute amazing job. Also his staff are very professional, kind and polite. His office is beautiful. I can just say "Amazing Experience". Hulse helped me repair my melted Invisalign retainers in 24 hours. I melted my retainer one morning, had an appointment for later that day and the next day I had a new top retainer! They fit better than my old ones and they even graciously tweaked my bottom wire retainers, which were from another orthodontist, so that they fit better. Everyone at the front desk was SO nice and helpful over the phone. Great orthodontist office!

Such a nice office. A while back my permanent retainer broke, called Hulse Orthodontics and they had me in the next day. AND had me a removable retainer ready by 3PM! so thankful for their help!

After 2 years of monthly visits to Hulse Orthodontics, my son has a beautiful smile. Dr Hulse was with him every step of the way. The entire staff was always welcoming and accommodating to our schedule needs and took every measure to learn my sons name from the first appointment. Hulse Orthodontics in Carlsbad is a great team of professionals who offer high quality orthodontic care. The front desk staff always greets you with a smile and works to accommodate your schedule. The docs are personable and create a comfortable environment for the kids and the parents. The day you get your braces off, they treat you with a fun surprise. Will go back with my 2nd child for sure.

De. Hulse has been absolutely amazing! Fantastic experience and I had to have 2 teens have braces on at the same time. They both just got them off and their teeth look amazing! Very professional and everything excellent!

I have completed my treatment on 2/20/19. This whole experience is still very surreal, I'm still trying to get used to my teeth without the braces! I have to wear my retainers for 8 weeks 24/7. Dr. Hulse and his stuff are so sweet and exceptional professional! Everyone greets you by your first name and they are always so nice and sweet! On my last day of treatment, after my braces removal and retainer pick up appointment, Dr. Hulse came by to check my teeth and handed me a bunch of flowers to congratulate my treatment completion!

My experience is based on my short visit there. I'm not going to go into details here. but I felt like I was treated like family, and he basically referred me to go back to my orthodontist in Florida because the treatment I wanted here would be way more expensive. I used to have invisalign. which is a 5-7k procedure. my last few trays have dissappeared, and he said I would need to go through the whole thing again. which is why he said it would make more sense for me to talk to my previous orthodontist. He seems like someone who truly has your best interest at heart. and his staff is all super friendly and kind.

Wow! All I can say is orthodontist perfection! The whole crew is amazing. Friendly and efficient staff. Always welcomes me by name when I come in the front door. Never really check in- they do all that. I have been seeing Dr Hulse for nearly 2 years for Invisalign and it has been so wonderful! High tech equipment and a new office building that is so impressive! Highly recommend! Please come and check it out!
