Dr. Anita Omidi, DMD, was raised in San Diego and graduated from UCSD with a degree in Biology. She then attended Boston's prestigious Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in which she received her DMD degree in 1994. Along with practicing dentistry in San Diego she has also practiced in Los Angeles and had a practice on the famous Park Avenue in New York.
Root canal treatment involves the removal of the diseased pulp along with the tooth nerve. Porcelain Veneers are thin natural looking covers placed over the surface of the teeth and they are one of the best ways to achieve a picture perfect smile. Composite bonding can correct many imperfections of the teeth such as gaps, discolorations, and chips.
A toothache can occur when the central portion of the tooth, also known as the pulp, experiences inflammation. The nerve endings in this soft-centered area are extremely sensitive to pain. A toothache can be caused for a number of reasons including dental cavities, trauma, and infection in or around the tooth.

I was recently introduced to Hollander Dental Associates and I'm very thankful I was. The care from the doctors and staff is superb. I've consulted with quite a bit of dental practices in the north county San Diego area and something didn't feel right with any of them so I never pursued further dental work and just settled with the problems at hand.
After a phone call to set up an appointment I had nothing but good feelings and the first visit validated those good feelings. The staff is so friendly, very caring & extremely helpful. Dr. Omidi is such a sweet woman and very informative of what work is being done. I recently have been working with Dr. Shaffer on having gum graphing done and let me tell you, I didn't feel any pain during or after.
The care he provides through this procedure is much different, more effective & more ideal and practical for everyday living during the healing process. I'm very grateful for all Hollander has already done for me & am happy to be a patient at a practice that takes care of their patients long term. Special thank you to Linda, the office manager, that is on top of all the paper work and financial needs. She has been a pleasure to work with and has such a kind heart.

Dr. Omidi's is one of the most considerate and skillful dentists I have ever interacted with. She is incredibly thoughtful and cares deeply about each one of her patients despite new or old. I don't usually do these but I have to regarding Dr. Omidi and Hollander Dental. When you walk into the office they are always so welcoming. The doctor and her staff make me feel so comfortable there and they do care. I don't know about anyone else but most doctors and dentists offices I don't feel that way. At Hollander Dental you will. The most important part is Dr. Omidi is meant to do what she does. You can tell when you're there she enjoys what she is doing and she does an amazing job. My teeth and crowns look amazing. You will not be disappointed!

I've been a patient of Dr. Omidi for the last 4 years. She and her team are exceptional. They are kind, considerate and provide genuine care for their patients and their well-being. Dr. Omidi and all of the staff at Hollander Dental are the absolute best. Offices are very clean, staff is very informative and organized. Dr. Omidi is very gentle and efficient. I had neglected my teeth, and she has restored them beautifully. I no longer dread going to the dentist thanks to her. Just wanted to give a shout out to Hollander Dental. Back in January, before Covid, I was in San Diego on business and came down with the worst pain in my mouth. My friend who lives in Carlsbad, she recommended me to Hollander Dental. They saw me right away and performed my first and hopefully last root canal. Recently, since we are now allowed to go back to the dentist, I went in for a check-up.
They cleaned my teeth and did some X-Rays. Turns out my dentist was really impressed with the work Dr. Omidi from Hollander had done. So, here I am recommending Hollander to any and all who need a great dentist. If such a thing exists. LOL

I love this place! The staff and doctor (Dr. Omidi) were welcoming and friendly. The care was excellent, and I trust their recommendations. A previous dentist had told me I had to have a crown, but Dr. Omidi was able to fix my tooth with an onlay (she drilled out a small area of my tooth and replaced it with a porcelain piece, which saves a much. larger portion of my tooth than a crown).
My tooth is doing great now! I have a huge fear of needles, but she was great at keeping me distracted by humming and talking through the process so my mind wouldn't wander. A friend recommended Dr. Omidi, and I am glad she did. I can't recommend her enough.

What a breath of fresh air! Dr. Omidi was amazing. What a kind and welcoming environment. She spent the time to sit with us and explain in detail my daughters diagnosis. She very hands on, as was her very nice assistant. I recommend this dentist office and will be switching my whole family over to them.

After days upon days on the phone with insurance, finally, I came across Hollander Dental Associates! Thank God! They took me in, accommodated everything for me as a patient, had the shortest wait time I had ever experienced, an extremely happy staff, and very friendly doctors! X-rays, a root canal, and a teeth cleaning later by Dr. Omidi and. her assistant, and here I am, ecstatic to write a positive review for them!
The best part was, they were cheaper than all of their competition in the surrounding area! Better quality, less cost. In twenty-six years, never have I ever, had a better experience with a dentist's office. HOLLANDER DENTAL IS THE BEE'S KNEES! Going back to get my teeth whitened ASAP!
