In 1998 Dr. Scott Bonin graduated with a Bachelors degree in General Biology from UC San Diego. Later he received a full health profession scholarship to continue his education at the University of Southern California. In 2002 he graduated with a DDS in Dentistry from the University of Southern California.

I haven't been to the dentist since I EAS'd in 2013. Dr. Bonnin and his staff eased all my worries, answered all my questions and treated me like an old friend. As someone who dislikes going to the dentist, Dr. Bonnin and his staff made me feel welcome, safe and calm. Highly highly HIGHLY recommend this office.

Dr. Bonin is the best. He is the most thorough and actually cares if whatever work he is doing is done right. I have a full bottom implant and one in the upper back that replaced a bridge. I've never been happier with my dental care. I'm 75 and have moved to S. California and I travel back to see him for any work. I would recommend him for all your dental needs.

Dr Bonin is the best! I have been his patient for 4 years now and by far he is the best! Very professional, easy going and actually makes your appointment fun. I have referred many family and friends and they all agree with me. I would definitely suggest if you are looking for a dentist, he is the one! Thank you for making me definitely feel like I matter!

I am a new patient to this office and scheduled a cleaning and exam for a problematic tooth. The staff took care of the referral, prescription and sent the info to the other dentist(s) very efficiently. Dr. Mitchler was very thoughtful about my situation and we had a robust discussion. While he did not do any actual work yet, i will go back based on my initial experience. Good job so far!

Top-notch professional work, friendly environment, very up-to-date equipment. Kurt Mitchler is an excellent dentist. I have been seeing him for almost 4 years. He is gentle and considerate, and he keeps up with all the latest professional standards and techniques. When my previous longtime dentist retired, I had a terrible time with an implant being delayed by his successor in the practice, who wanted to send me to San Francisco for a great deal of additional work done.
Since the periodontist had already prepared me for the implant, I had doubts. On the advice of another dentist, I went to Dr. Mitchler, who has a great reputation as a professional and as a community member. He promptly got my implant in, and I have had no trouble since. I've received terrific care. This is a truly patient-centered practice.

Amazing dentist, amazing staff! I've been a patient here for over 10 years. They are so dependable and only offer the best service. I've had several dental emergencies and always have been taken of right away. I get my cleanings there too. I'd never think about going somewhere else for my dental care! Highly, highly recommend this office- again amazing service through and through.

My family and I have been going to Dr. Mitchler for about 17 years and he and his staff are great. His work is excellent and he is very gentle. I have received compliments on his work from others in the dental field (e.g., endocrinologists, orthodontists, dental assistants). Dr. Mitchler's staff has always been professional, friendly and kind to all of us. Dr. Mitchler was wonderful with my children and is wonderful with my elderly mother. I feel fortunate to have found him.

I hate leaving bad reviews and honestly I don't think I ever have before. But Dr. Mitchlers office has been beyond unprofessional. We've been cancelled on, left hanging for weeks at a time while they go on vacation and don't even notify anyone that they'll be gone. Not even on their voicemail. They just leave. I thought they went out of business at one point because I was trying to reschedule an appointment that was canceled and got nothing but voicemails and unreturned phone calls for a week.
One time I can handle, but doing it to me twice within a few months I can't. We are now seeing Dr. Chun's office today for the first time to finish a job that Dr. Mitchler started.cuz he's on vacation until Monday according to his voicemail. We had an appointment with him last week but he called and canceled and said "don't call us, we'll call you to reschedule".
That was last Wednesday. I called Monday only to find out they're on vacation for a week!. The appointment was to finish filing a cavity in my 4 year olds tooth. It fell out and now basically has a hole in her tooth. They stressed the importance of getting it fixed quickly to avoid further damage. Then cancel on us and then bail on us.

Recently I had my regular cleaning and Amy was very good. She has mastered completely the high powered plaque removal. Today I returned for a whitening session with Lacee. At times the front desk isn't up to par, but Lacee is the person to work with. She did my procedure today and I am amazed! She loves what she does and is highly professional. This is, without a doubt, the best dental office ever!

RIPPED OFF ALSO. Told by Dr. Mitchler front office staff that they took my insurance but after the kids were examined and the bills were out there we found out THEY DO NOT. They are not on the preferred provider list for DELTA DENTAL and so we ended up with a $200 bill When I argued that they had miss lead me and offered to pay half, they sent me to collections.
I had to pay. All because they LIED. We have a dentist that takes Delta in Healdsburg ( dr. Shawn Widick-- amazing DDS), but I was busy as a working single mom and was looking for was a local guy the kids could ride bikes too. I called several in Windsor, all were honest about what insurance they take. NOT DR. MITCHLER I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND AN OFFICE THAT LIES ABOUT ITS INSURANCE COVERAGE

Do not waste your time! This dental office is not contracted with any dental insurance providers and will rip you off! After my visit I was informed that I would have to pay out of pocket for my visit and my Insurance provider "Delta Dental" would reimbursement me! Excuse me? Why wasn't this brought up when I initially made my appointment! I have never had to pay out of pocket dental costs in my life!
And because "Kurk D. Mitchler, DDS" isn't Contracted with my provider I have to pay $129.00 out of pocket even after my insurance pays their portion. I spoke to Lacey at "Kirk D. Mitchler DDS" her response " it is the patients responsibility to know who Delta Dental covers! I feel if there is any out pocket costs at all the patient should know before hand! This place is a sick joke! People don't waste your time!

I have had an amazing experience for my first visits, and cleaning. The entire staff is welcoming. The office, bathroom, treatment areas, and foyer are all very clean and well decorated. It's professional yet comfortable. My teeth look and feel amazing and I have a treatment plan that is reasonable for my health and wallet :
